This company goes beyond what is expected. My air conditioning went out on Friday afternoon 21 May they came out that evening and there was nothing they could have done but he was here first thing Monday morning and installed a new motor. The technician Jared Was the technician pet service my air conditioning, he is very friendly very professional and always on time. Five stars

Called in the morning and they were able to send a tech that afternoon to check our A/C. Got a call about 30 minutes before arrival he was on the way. He checked things out, did some maintenance, a recharge of Freon and got it running cold again! Even showed me a couple of tips to keep it running good.

New mini-split ductless unit installed in January. It never worked properly. They came out twice, checked for leaks and re-charged the refrigerant. It would work a couple of days and then go back to blowing cold air in the heat mode. It was a home warranty job; they identified what they think is the problem but will not provide a report back to the home warranty company to get the needed part. Ive asked (twice since their last visit) for someone to come out, was told theyd get back to me and never heard from them. Sent a letter outlining the problem and the timeline; never heard back.Responding to the owners comments. There was nothing wrong with the unit and it had nothing to do with being a home warranty job or getting something for nothing.I hired another company who identified improper installation of the refrigerant line fittings, which caused refrigerant leakage. The fittings werent properly flared by Savings HVAC when the unit was installed. Once the fittings were flared, the unit worked beautifully.

This is a good company! Theyre professional, knowledgeable, and more importantly they are reasonably priced....I did my due diligence by getting several quotes.Throughout my decision making process, I spoke to Jared several times. After every conversation, my knowledge grew about heating/ AC units. My comfort level with the company grew as well.Jared and his team were prompt, they cleaned up after the installation, and they were friendly.I will use Savings HVAC again, and I would recommend them to a friend.....

After waiting 3 weeks for another company to fix our heat through our home warranty company, they finally let us switch to Savings HVAC who we have used in the past and loved. They were able to fit us in same day, and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. Jared was a great, professional technician and he also fixed our AC in the summer and was great! I highly recommend this company and we will always be using them for any future needs. 5 STARS!

This company is really bad with communication. They guy came out Monday morning and when he left he said that he would call Tuesday to let me know how much I would have to pay out of pocket to get my A/C come Thursday I havent heard anything so I called at 8am and was told buy someone jeard would be in the office about 20 mins then I called about 11am and spoke with a women and was VERY RUDE. this is a very unprofessional company

They replace my AC in 2016, i had a small leak about 3 weeks ago, every time i call Dave he sent some one out to recharge it, the leak was hard tofine, Savings HVAC install a new unit inside & outside and didnt charge me a dime, i was very happy with the response that i receive when i called, they or # 1 in my book, excellent company.

Our AC unit went out Tuesday. We placed a work order with the home warranty company and received a referral. When that company did not respond to our calls, we asked for another referral and were given Savings. We called, the receptionist was polite and courteous and we had an appointment for Thursday afternoon. David Wright called Thursday morning and said he was available to come early and was here in 20 minutes. He was professional and thorough and able to get the unit running in no time. He walked us through the process and showed us tips to help keep the unit running smoothly. He even said he would keep our ticket open for 24 hours should the unit go out again. We are very pleased with the service we were provided.

Excellent Service!!! Highly Recommend. I have an oil furnace that we had put in back in January 2011. All of a sudden we started smelling oil. I called my home warranty and these guys were willing to come the same day, but I had to go to work. They came out the next morning, took out the part that needed replaced and was back the next morning to install. Saturday, the next day, we smelled oil again. I texted them and they came out the next morning, on Mothers day. Come to find out, we had a massive birds nest in our flue that leads outside. I knew at one point I heard a bird flopping around inside the furnace but there was noting I could do. They cleaned out the pipe, explained to my husband what we needed to replace on the roof to keep the birds out. I would highly recommend these guys coming back for any HVAC work, actually, we may start using them for our annual furnace/ac tune ups. Cannot say enough goods things about them.

We called the warranty company and got this great company to come check out our AC. Not only was Jared prompt and on-time (he called ahead of time), he was very knowledgeable and kind and explained things about our heating and cooling system we were not sure about, since we just purchased the home 4 months ago. Our AC went out on a Sunday. We called our home warranty company and they gave us another company to use. They said it would be 6 days before they could get to us. After asking for another company they gave us this company and I was so relieved when they could get to us the day we called. A quick fix was needed and the tech was professional. We will definitely use them again if needed!

I’ve only had positive experiences with Savings HVAC. Every time I’ve called they’ve been very responsive and sent Nick out to address my HVAC issue. Nick always shows up on time, is professional, solves the problem, and explains so I understand (learn something) what the issue was.

Called Thursday afternoon. I was told the earliest appt is Next Thursday. Additionally, when I asked if they can give me at least a 4 hour window. They declined and said I will get a call THAT day (appointment day) in the morning to give me a time of arrival. Request for a 4 hour window is a reasonable request considering people with jobs and needing to take time off. Also just because I have a home warranty does not mean anything. First time home buyers have warranties so dont assume that people will take advantage and feel that your time is not valuable.

I truly appreciate the time and patience they took with me. After having to reschedule my install twice they were always willing to work with me and complete me install. I only wish that they could give a window as to the time that they would arrive, hence 4 stars. HORRIBLE company. Told me I dont need you, you need me. Been waiting over 3 weeks. Been patient the entire time. They dont answer the phone and the voicemail is always full. My home warranty company has also tried to call them several times. I have an elderly person living in the house with no AC, but he said that was not an emergency. Said his regular clients come before home warranty clients. If you do not want to work with home warranty clients then DONT! He pretty much told me I was on his time, commenced to being extremely rude and disrespectful because I asked when would they come out then hung up on me. I have filed several complaints on this company with several agencies.

We have been so impressed with $avings HVAC and owner Dave Wright. We recently found the heating system in our multi-family building was failing. Dave came out the same day we called him and gave us the pros/cons of fixing vs replacing the system. After reviewing all of our choices, we made the decision to replace the boiler (not an inexpensive undertaking but definitely needed) and are looking forward to $avings HVAC doing the work tomorrow. My furnace went out and I was refferred to Savings by my homeowners warranty. When I called to see how soon they could get there, I was told about 20 minutes. I was apprehensive about the service I would get after reading reviews, but was pleasantly surprised when Jared arrived 15 minutes later. He was very curtious and polite and got my furnace back working. He also gave me good tips about helping to keep my furnace in good working order. I definitely recommend them.

My name is Jason and I’ve been lucky to have of had Savings HVAC in my life. It was about a month ago when I noticed my ac was acting more like the H in HVAC. We placed a call and got in touch with Jared. He came out within 24 hours in the middle of all of the pandemic. ( with a mask and respecting social distancing and being hygienic as best you can in someone else’s home).He quickly assessed the situation and had provided a palatable quote. I had already spoken with several HVAC people past few years. So this was something I was able to assess somewhat quickly and pounced as summer heat was coming.They had to order and schedule the parts for install. So the worst part is the ordeal was not having for a undefined period of time knowledge of when a new unit was coming, but arrive it did and their crew installed it. It had been almost 22 years since this house had a new unit so it was interesting to hear them do it while working from home but they also did it as quietly as possible to respect my WFH environment.They quoted 8 hours but were done in 4. I appreciated the under quote and over delivery aspect of their work. They didn’t act cocky. They were nice and I’d let them in my home again.From their schedulers to their installers. They are an amazing crew that you should trust with your HVAC needs. I’m glad I took my colleagues recommendation and gave Savings HVAC a chance for my families comfort this year, 2020 was hard enough without losing central air.This is not a requested not paid review. Quite incompetent and unprofessional company I have come across..will not ever go with them nor will recommend them to anyone. They came to do a job for our furnace. They couldnt figure out how to fix the problem. Blamed the issue on the furnace with the reason it was installed incorrectly. Although this furnace has been working for 20 years without any problems. Due to their judgement it created a huge issue for us with our insurance as they denied us coverage. But luckily there was another company we found who figured out the problem and fixed it in minutes. If anyone wants their number send me text. Avoid them at all cost. Ripped us off of the $100 deductible. He received the part, held on to it for 2+ weeks and never came out to install. When we finally got a hold of them, he told us that he didnt install it because the home warranty had not paid him yet and he did not want to tell us that for fear of making the home warranty look bad? All this while not reaching out to us and not giving us any updates on what was going on. They also gave me an invoice that had several additional charges besides the refrigerant replacement. When I talked to their receptionist and asked for the tech to call me back to give me a run down on the charges, I never got a call back. I guess theres a reason why their office is an old dilapidated gas station.I wouldnt be surprised if this company changes their name soon to avoid all the negative ratings theyve been receiving. Also, from talking to the home warranty company, theyve had several complaints about SAVINGS HVAC.Dont waste your time and money. Go with somebody else.

I messaged this company for a quote on a Wednesday night 2 weeks ago and on Thursday they called me back which was great. They confirmed my appointment time for the next day (Friday) and I had received an email confirmation. Come Friday at 2pm when they were supposed to show up, no one showed and no one even called. Top notch! I cannot say enough positive things. I realized my AC was out last Thursday, right after getting home from work. I have 2 young kids and pets, so waiting to get it fixed was not an option. I called several emergency places and the best I could get was being put on a waiting list. Somehow I came across Savings Heating & Air Conditioning and was able to speak with Dave. I share my concerns with Dave and he was quick to offer assistance. Dave walked me through identifying what the problem was over the phone and offered to sell me a replacement part that night. Not only did he sell me the part but he also assisted me and putting everything back together and getting it up and running. This is the best client service Ive ever experienced and Im truly grateful for his time. Dave was knowledgeable, respectful, affordable and went well above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of.I never leave reviews but feel inclined due to how positive this experience was for me.

AC went out over the weekend. Was at the mercy of our warranty company and they directed me to Savings HVAC. You don’t always know what you will run into having to go this route. I got connected to Jared and he said he’d be by on Tuesday at the earliest. It was understandable given the heat spell and backlog. He communicated very well with me and he came by as promised and had our issue fixed within 10 minutes. He treated me like any other customer. Very nice guy and did a great job all around. I recommend Dave and Jared and Savings HVAC.

The owner was on vacation during my request, so it was not his fault and it may be that Jared just didnt want to work. I was scheduled with Savings HVAC through my Home Warranty and never heard back from anyone. I waited the 24 hours before calling and then sent a text message with all of my information because Jared requests to have that instead of voicemail. After waiting, I called the warranty company to have my work order changed because I still had not heard back from Savings HVAC. When they called him, he said I was on the schedule for the next day, but he still had not reached out to me. The next morning when I still had not heard anything, I tried calling Jared after they opened. He still would not answer his phone. I left a voicemail asking him to call or text me with what time he would be coming. After another call from the Warranty company, Jared told them to change providers. I am a very easy going individual and understand that he was probably working all day, but I needed to know when he had me scheduled and a 10 second text message would have worked. It was very unprofessional that he would not answer my phone calls or texts but had no problem answering calls from the warranty company. If you are in the unfortunate situation where you are set up with this company, I recommend asking for a change immediately. If a warranty company that they work with is not paying them, it is not the consumers fault. I would have understood if they would have let me know this issue but hearing nothing is unacceptable. After reading the replies, it seems like the owner would rather be petty to those who are already suffering than act like an adult and bring up the issues with the source of the problem, the warranty company.

Great company. Jared spoke to me over the phone and helped me figure out that there was a blown fuse in the furnace. That fixed our furnace, but we still didnt have air. He arrived promptly, a few minutes ahead of the scheduled time. He was able to fix our wiring errors on the thermostat and we now have a cool house again. Highly recommend!

Jared gave me a 1 hour window, texted me 15 mins prior to arriving, and arrived within the 1 hour window. Upon his arrival, he was quickly able to locate the issue with my furnace and get it up and running in under an hour. While doing the repair, he was very informative and instructed me on what to look for should I have any issues going forward. After fixing the furnace, he also looked for other issues that may arise down the road. Overall, this was a great experience from a customer perspective and if I have any HVAC issues in the future, I know who to call.

AVOID!!! We contacted our home warranty company when our AC went out. They recommended this company. Despite listing themselves online as available 24 hours, 7 days a week, it took almost 48 hours before we finally heard back. Jared set up an appointment with my wife, for the next morning. No 4 hour window, no scheduled time, just in the morning. He said he would try to do a 30 minute call ahead. So I took off work, and waited for them to arrive. By 10:30, I was starting to get concerned. I text messaged Jared... No response. I waited until 11:30 and called Jared... No answer, and his voicemail box is full. Thats very unprofessional. I waited a few more minutes, and called their main number, and David answered... He was extremely rude, and also very unprofessional. He went off on a tirade about how all he knows is hes the owner (if youre the owner, you should know what appointments and schedule your co-owner commits to), he put a stop on all work because the warranty companies arent paying him, and said if they dont pay me soon, Ill have to put a mechanical lien on your home... I stopped him right there and told him that not only is that just ridiculous and not legally possible, but they hadnt even been to our house yet. That Jared had committed to coming out in the morning to fix our problem, and he hadnt shown up, and wasnt answering. He changed his tune then, and said that we should just call your home warranty company, and ask to have someone else come out. I hung up on him at this point. Despite the other negative reviews online about this company, they looked to be all personal issues, and I was going to give them the benefit of doubt, and have them come out and work on our AC. But after being lied to by Jared about the time that he would be out, and berated by David, I will make it my goal to ensure our home warranty company removes them from their referral lists, and warn everyone I know about this unprofessional owner and company. Im sure he will reply and say I was the rude one, or I somehow know the Smiths from the other reviews, but rest assured, I do not. I have never dealt with such a disrespectful and unprofessional person in the HVAC industry, in my entire life. I cant rate their actual service, because they never made it to our house during the time they committed to, and they will never step foot on our property.

I wished I would have gotten the techs name who came but I cant say enough kinds words about him. He explained everything he was doing, even giving me lessons along the way. I was never showed how to operate my gas fire place and he was more than kind to show me how to operate. The gentleman had a dark beard, dark short hair and with glasses. Stated he lived in Cheviot I believe. If I ever need service again I hope this is the company who comes. Thank you.

I literally never write any reviews for companies but felt compelled to do so in this instance because I feel as if people are unfairly holding this company accountable for poor service on the part of the home warranty companies.My Experience:AC was not cooling our house at all prior to Memorial Day, filed a claim with the Home Warranty company and was told to contact Savings HVAC - which I did. Jared came out the very next day to diagnose the issue and as far as I could tell, did a very thorough job. He wrote up the recommended repair and send the information to the home warranty company promptly.The home warranty company proceeded to drop the ball multiple times and it took 2.5 weeks for the hardware to arrive, with no one at the home warranty company having any idea where the hardware actually was while in transit (no tracking number, telling me it was scheduled for delivery on a Sunday??, etc.)I reached back out to Jared the day after the supposed Sunday Delivery and he said he had just received the hardware in and could have it repaired the same day. This was fantastic news and surprising that he could get someone out so quickly to finish the job. The installation went smoothly and the technician was again professional and answered all my questions - no issues since.TL;DR: Home warranty companies can often be the ones to blame for delays in the repair process, not the service companies who actually perform the diagnosis & repair of the hardware. Try to understand the responsibilities of each party involved before assigning blame.

If zero stars was available thats what I would pick. This company contacted us after we reached out to our home warranty (HW) company to have our AC repaired. We described the damage to the AC which Savings HVAC knew wouldnt be covered but came out anyway to do a diagnosis. Did not even physically touch the AC unit, was present for less than 5 minutes then asked for the $100 deductible to cover cost of gas after informing us it would not be covered by HW. My husband suspected they were up to something and refused to pay them. They called a few days later threatening to sue us if we didnt give them $100 deductible. Its then I realized how unprofessional and uneducated these people are. A deductible is a portion of a cost an insurance company will pay that is paid by the customer; if the job is not going to be done, how do we owe you a deductible? I could be petty and let them sue us because they have absolutely no case. They are flat out thieves! But decided to pay them and drop our HW company as well for dealing with such unprofessional, low down, conniving scammers.Regarding this companys response below. All of that is a lie... the fact is we have only lived in this newly remodeled home for a few months, therefore all filters have been changed and appliances maintained and serviced. Nice try though! The AC unit was actually damaged due to a lawn mowing incident, nothing to so with filters. We live in a beautiful remodeled home in a nice neighborhood, so we can afford to pay for filter replacement and fix our AC without using a company rated 2 stars or our home warranty. We have eliminated them and you out of our lives. But obviously you are desperate for this $100, and goodluck with your lien, not the least bit threatened. Majority of the ratings for your company are at 1-star. The facts are present right there. Let me guess they had a filthy AC unit too. We just want innocent home owners to know, you lack professionalism and there is better companies out there. And you proved that with your response!

Id skip this company. The guy came over to fix my air conditioner. He looked at it for 5 mins and then told me the warranty company wouldnt pay him enough money to fix it, so he wasnt going to. Tried to soften the unprofessional blow by saying he would make some calls. Its been almost a week and nothing. They obviously dont need to make money so maybe use a more reliable company that does want to make some money.Update...their details are quite skewed but we will chalk it up to being called out. However, their response to this review should tell you everything you need to know about them.

Just not dependable or maybe just poor at customer service/Communication. I was going to let this pass but the longer I chew on it the worse it tastes.I had a furnace Issue late Saturday afternoon, so no heat. I called my home warranty company and they opened a claim and referred me to this company for service. Great!I called Saturday afternoon at 6:30 PM. As expected on a Saturday my call went directly to voice mail where I was instructed to leave my name, address, phone number and the times that I could be contacted “today or tomorrow”. I did not really expect the provider to call me on Saturday evening, I didn’t really expect the company to call me on Sunday, heck, I’m a reasonable person. Monday after not hearing anything from the contractor I called them again at 3:30 PM to see if they had in fact received the instructed text message. I was told that they got it but to send it again and mention that I had talked to him and he would be in my area and take care of me “first thing tomorrow” (Tuesday). Great!So along comes Tuesday, now remember this is Ohio and I have not had heat since Saturday. I am also not so naive to think that I am the only person with a problem so I should not have a wait. At 3PM I called to see if they were coming. I was told that he would be here, shouldn’t be more than 1-1/2 hours and he would call me about 1/2 hour ahead. At 6:30 PM after hearing nothing, I called again. This time the call went to voice mail. I left a message asking if they were intending to do the job or not. No reply as of today.Very frustrated, and realizing that the whole home warranty thing was tying my hands I called to request a new contractor.Finally out of frustration, I went outside the whole warranty process and called a HVAC contractor that I knew could perform the service. I called them at 7PM and they were out before 3 PM the next afternoon. Simple repair cost me less that this guy would have charged me for the home warranty deductible.Lessons learned : Stay away from Home Warranties.I’m sure that when this company shows up they perform adequate work but in the emergency service area they need a little work on communication. Just a phone call saying they couldn’t make it and would be out tomorrow would have changed the whole way I feel about them right now.

Terrible company call them for home warranty work because our board was out technician came out and got air going that day told us he would return in 2 days with the control board after weeks is not hearing anything from the company and trying to contact them without any response finally got ahold of them today and they told us the board was on back order that it would take 3 weeks I do heating near myself so I called the supply house the board is 25 minutes away from their shop in stock when we asked the company about it the company then told us they would no longer do work for us

I have a home warranty contract and had to use it for a furnace problem. They recommended Savings Hvac. The owner contacted me I described my situation. He could not distpatch anyone immediately, but he walked through a temporary fix on the phone until the furnace could be looked at by a technician. The furnace was operational 100% after technician looked at it. Reason for 5 star rating is unprecedented to me because of owmer. I am not easily impressed, but he went out of his way to HELP. Please save yourself money and time. It has been a mightmare with this company. Do not call these people! Very unprofessional. Put the wrong part on my ac hoping we wouldnt notice. Called them bc my ac froze up after he put it on. He came back out and instead of putting the right part on they decided they were going to rig it as he told me. So he rigged it and burnt thru some wiring in the process. He left saying it was good to go. Called him again telling him its froze said he would fix it..three day later we still havent seen or heard from them. So now I have had no ac in my house for two weeks Everytime he has come out he has caused more problems. It just keeps getting worse. We had to go buy a window unit. Called another company in turns out they put a 3 ton part on a 2 ton system and as much as he thinks rigging it will work it wont! I guess the name of the company should have told me something. Dear owner of Savings hvac, you are a bold face liar! we never ask for a new unit we waited patiently for our part to come in that you said we needed and we trusted you.. it wasnt until you put the part on that things got worse. If you being the professional would have told use in the first place our unit was to old to save instead of trying to rig parts together that is all on you sir! we would have purchased a new one. Instead you and the warranty company wanted to band aid it. You can bash us all you want and twist the story around to make yourself feel better but facts are facts. People will listen to ur filthy mouth and make their own judgements of you and how you handle your bussiness. Yes our ac unit is on the older side 13yrs. And we pay good money for our warranty. We have been let down by them as we will be dropping them also for hiring someone like you. If you dont want to do the warranty work then maybe you should reconsider working for those companys. Just bc its warranty work doesnt mean we should receive any less than the best and to be treated fairly. You cant just put wrong parts on and rig them together. As a professional HAVC company you should have never tried and sent it back to the company. Instead you are just as bad as the company. And to say we are trying to get something for nothing we have paid way more than our fair share over the years for a little peice of mind and when we needed to use it this is how we are treated. We feel sorry for your next customer who uses a warranty company. Everyone please beware of this man. Look into all his reviews (there are people who he has done this to before us) I wish we would have before we let them in our door. If anyone would like to hear the voicemail or read the nasty emails and comments or even the text where his tech admitts to burning our wires I am more than happy to provide all of it!
