The technician/salesperson I spoke with on the phone also safely visited my home to review what I thought I wanted compared to what he thought I needed. (Previous to his arrival I received visits and quotes from 3 other companies.) He treated me with respect without pushing anything he might have been incentivized to sell. He patiently listened to me without interruption, answering each and every question I had including one follow-up question after he left my home. I felt a strong sense of trust in his abilities, knowledge and understanding of my personal home needs. I received a detailed quote complete with full warranty and maintenance information from him in a timely way. I chose to purchase a slightly better unit to replace the broken one I currently have. My new unit was able to be scheduled to be installed within ten business days of my decision to use Jansen.

I called Jansen multiple times between May 26th and 27th to try and get a technician in my home to determine why there was water all over my floor from my HVAC unit (furnace).On my last phone call of the 26th, which was after hours and after I had called other companies trying to find someone available, I was told that I would be called back in the morning to schedule an appointment. I was not and I had to call myself.On May 28, a technician was sent to my home and he determined my pump had failed. The drainage pump was replaced and the drain was checked to make sure it was clear.On June 6, I found water all over my floor again. I called and the technician arrived a day later, said the pump was faulty, and Id have to get a replacement. He did not have a replacement for me in his truck, and he told me that I could wrap a towel around the pump and it would be okay until another technician was sent. I was under the assumption I would be called sometime in the same week to create an appointment to fix this problem (again, for something Jansen installed and determined broken). I was not called back.On June 15 I called and was told the only availability was June 24. I made the appointment, trying to be patient as theres a pandemic.Once I noticed mold and water damage, however, my patience went out the window.Multiple associates at the Jansen front desk were rude to me when I would call, and did not take me or my concerns seriously. The technicians are nice enough, but their pleasantries does not change the fact that I:- Paid $457.16 for a water pump to be replaced, which was determined broken on installation by the second technician.- Was never called by their office to set up a follow-up appointment after the second technician informed me he did not have a pump in his truck.- Now have damaged floor tiles, water damage in my walls, and damaged trim from the water leaking from the pump that Jansen installed.- And to top it off, the issue was a ripped tube that took ten minutes for a licensed plumber (unaffiliated with the company) to fix.As of this time, I have not been issued a refund.Edit 6/23: Still no refund and no attempt to contact me to correct damage that Jansens technicians caused. But Im glad the owner has time to comment on five star reviews.

I have been a customer for 38 years. Jansen’s service has always been excellent. Yesterday Nate was here to figure out why our heat was out. Turned out to be a rather complex problem but Nate figured it out, made the repairs, and now we have heat again. Outstanding service.

I have used Jansen for many years and used to recommended them. Last year they did not come out for scheduled maintenance (although they had kept my money that I had paid for in a maintenance contract). I finally needed a repair this January. They came out, broke some parts (which they replaced) charged my system and said I needed more service when the weather warms. OK. The very next day my heat pump was making a noise so loudly we could not use it. They came out the next day, said they could find no problem with the heat pump (except for the loud noise). The tech said there was nothing he could do. While the technician was here I talked him into helping me install two swimming pool noodles to place between the heat pump and mounting pipes. This helped tremendously. I was then charged for a service call!! In my opinion, the techs knocked my heat pump off kilter, could not fix it, and charged me $80 for the repair I did. I tried to get some resolution, but after buying a new system from Jansen and paying for a service contract for 7 years all I got was ignored.

Drew was very professional and thorough. Found the problem and quickly had it resolved and did a system check to ensure everything was working properly... and on a Friday afternoon! Much appreciated!

Came to fix my furnace after paying $300 the furnace did not work for even 24 hours. Requested refund and have not heard back I will fight this. The repairmen said everything looks good I should have no problems. Need a response on my refund and am having my regular repairman fix my furnace. I will be happy to give them their part back. After all it did not even work for 24 hours On 1/3/20 they came and picked up the part they put no issues Roger was very nice. He wii return part so I am just waiting on a refund for the part. I owe the service call

I had a difficult installation of a pool heater, the man from Jansen couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. He had a great deal of experience and put valves in that I never would have thought of to rerout water if I had to work on the pool mechanics in the future. Great timely service! Have had two emergencies in the past month and each time theyve come the same day and had us repaired quickly and professionally.

94 degrees yesterday and our thermostat stopped working. We were relieved to learn it was a simple fix: two new AA batteries. Quick diagnosis. All is OK now.17 year old thermostat replaced. Happy with new unit. Tech came first thing the next morning (7:00 am). Extremely responsive and knowledgeable.Nick found and fixed our problem quickly.

Our AC broke on a Saturday night and after numerous calls to different companies stating that it would take up to two weeks to get our system fixed, I called Jansen who was recommended by a family member and they were out the same day I called to diagnose and the replacement part a day later. This was my first time using Jansen. I picked them because they are a 24 hour service & they had a 5 Star rating.Our air conditioner had stopped working on a Friday night. In the past I would have called my cousin who worked in that business. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us. I called Jansen around 11pm. Someone took the info and Jeremy called back around 1130pm. We agreed he would come at 8am Saturday. He was very nice on the phone. He came and fixed it within an hour and the repair cost was quite reasonable. Jeremy couldn’t have been nicer. He was very personable and obviously knew what he was going. I plan to use Jansen for our future needs.

Great quality service at a great price. I called a few other places and had other companies do a diagnostics. Other companies just wanted to charge me for parts I didnt need or sell me a whole new AC. Jansens integrity is sky high in my book. They gave me confidence that I didnt need entire AC replaced. They could fix for just a few hundred bucks. Jansen just got a return customer for life!

After beginning the installation at 2PM, the techs remained until 10:30 that evening in an attempt to get the new A/C unit to run correctly. At no time did they complain about the hour or the time spent. Despite a full hour on the phone with the help desk at NEST, they were not able to make the thermostat work. I finally sent them home. When they returned, the tech brought along a new advisor. After reviewing the installation, they determined that the thermostat was bad. If only the NEST help desk had told us that. The tech returned to the shop, brought a new NEST and installed it. The system was working properly in 5 minutes. While not the most timely of installations, it was only through their perseverance that the work was completed. I will be happy to use them again in the future.

Fine company, fine people working there. Very honest and trustworthy. On the coldest day of winter, my furnace went out. They came in the middle of the night and tried to fix it. A major part went out. They could have tried to sell me a new furnace. Instead they told me it was a manufacturing recall and under warranty. It cost me nothing to replace. I couldn’t do business with anyone else!

Ive been using Jansen since 1996. Their technicians have always done a great job servicing our furnace and A.C. units. They are always on time and never try to sell you on a repair that you dont need.

My issue was a furnace that was short cycling. Nick quickly determined that the cause was the unit was overheating resulting in it shutting down. Nick checked a few likely causes, but everything checked out. Continuing his search, Nick found two supply ducts taped closed by a tenant and he also adjusted gas pressure slightly. The system is now operating perfectly.Thanks for the professional service at a very reasonable price.

We had our AC checked today as part of our plan with Jansen that checks our AC and furnace every year before the season. As always, the Tech, Zac AUSTIN, did a great job. We have been using Jansen since 1984 and have always been pleased.

Jensen installed our heating/cooling system about 3 years ago and weve been very pleased with it and Jensens service. I always request Ray, one of their technicians, to maintain our system and he always does a great job. Highly recommend them!

My heat went out overnight. I was hoping it was just a fluke that would work itself out while I was at work (hah). I called Jansen Heating & Air (on a Friday evening after 6:30pm) and they sent someone right away! No waitlist like other places Ive dealt with, there are actual after hours people that can help! Nate came to my house and worked many different ways to figure out the problem. It is not a 1 visit fix, unfortunately, but I appreciate the prompt help and willingness to research materials before coming to a conclusion! Thank you!

It was after midnight on New Years Eve (actually New Years Day around 12:30). My wife and I had a house full of teenagers spending the night along with our other young son. The temperature outside was below 0. This is when our heater decided to not work! We have a service contract with Jansen so my wife called their number. Of course my thought was, Good Luck! I figured at best we could get put on the list for the following day or so. We were ready to send the boys home and find a hotel. Sure enough, someone answered the phone at Jansen! They told us a technician would call us back within the hour. Once again, I was skeptical considering it was around 1:00 am on New Years at that point. To our surprise, the technician called us and promised he would be over soon. And soon it was. The technician was over within the hour and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it before the teenagers even noticed it was cold! The tech was very friendly and courteous too. Then came time for the bill. I figured it was going to be quite high given the situation. To our great surprise the bill was VERY reasonable. I paid less than what I would have estimated on a normal business day, let alone after midnight on a holiday!I can not say enough how grateful we were to have Jansen help us out that evening. They are a great company and we will continue to use them.

Ive been using Jansen Heating and Air Conditioning Inc for a long time. They used to service my old oil furnace and put in my new gas HVAC system in 2013. I could not be happier with their service. Their technicians are always on time, courteous and efficient. I belong to the Maintenance Club and think it is well worth the price to have peace of mine and know my HVAC system is properly maintained. I highly recommend Jansen Heating and Air Conditioning Inc.

Had them out again to when our furnace decided to cut out this past Friday after the first cool night. The tech arrived and went straight to the furnace. He messed with it for about an hour, and then told me I would need a new gas valve and it would be $450 for the part plus an additional $200 labor, and they couldnt get it till Monday.I said ok, and he cleaned up and then tried to cycle the furnace one last time. It still didnt run obviously. After he left i checked the part online and found that the replacement was actually only $50. I went down and popped off the cover to confirm I had the right part number and noticed the tech had switch the valve off. I thought this was odd, because that meant he tried to cycle the unit after he turned off the valve switch. I turned it back on and flipped on the thermostat. It came on no problem. I promptly canceled the service for Monday and asked to speak to a manager about the misleading sales attempt by the tech. I never received a call back from a manager and the furnace has been running fine all weekend.Avoid this place, there are a lot of furnace repair places around town, better to take a chance with them than use people I can confirm will try to rip you off.

I believe the technician took entirely too long to diagnose and fix the problem. He spent a significant amount of time on the phone with his boss helping him, and later his boss had to come and fix the problem. I was also surprised that he signed my name to the invoice as if I approved the cost ahead of time.

Sunday morning July 1 I awoke a little later than normal. The furnace was operating but the house felt a little warmer than normal. I checked the thermostat which indicated the temperature was 77 degrees. I called Jansen Heating and Cooling around 9:45 AM and was surprised when I was connected to a real person! I believe her name was Kim but I was so startled that someone answered on Sunday morning that I may have missed her name. She listened to my concerns and then told me that Tom was on call and would call me soon. Within 2 minutes Tom called and told me I was next on his list after he completed a service call in Hamilton. Tom diagnosed the problem over the phone and said he would call when he was on his way. I received a call from Tom at Noon; he arrived at 12:30 and by 1:00 PM my air conditioner was operating. Tom had diagnosed the problem correctly and had the needed capacitor in the van. Tom also corrected a thermostat wiring problem that had existed since the unit was installed when our condo was originally built. This is the second time this year that Jansen personnel have corrected problems caused by others. Thank you for being there on a Sunday and being so efficient at your jobs!

We have been customers for years. Used to be we could count on Jansen to diagnose and fix whatever the issue. Recently, we have not had good experiences. They show up, do something and the unit breaks again as soon as they leave. We have called them 3 times this past summer. They were unable to fix our AC or that of another home we own.Sadly, we will not be using them again.
