These guys are awesome! They installed a secondhand chair lift in the back of my Honda so that I dont have to lift it and it works great! They also helped me order a Smart Drive a few years ago. The battery just busted so Rick sent it out to be repaired for an honestly reasonable price for how much a new Smart Drive actually costs. Theyre such nice, hardworking people. Im very glad to have found them.

Nick at Alternative Mobility is a great guy and worked with me to first rent then purchase a wheelchair ramp at a reasonable price for my husband. And he was always pleasant and patient with me despite my numerous calls to him with questions. Also, I referred him to a friend in need of a ramp and he came out the very same day to deliver it. Mobility scooter wasnt working. Picked up scooter and took it to shop. Got a call from Nick, saying battery, charger, motor all burnt out. Asked me why I sent him my scooter. Im thinking to fix/repair scooter. I thought thats what mechanics do. Anyway they sent my scooter back. Id give zero stars if I could.

Came through in a pinch with a short term wheelchair rental at a good price. Quick turnaround and flexible timeframes. Really helped is out at the last minute.

Took my lightweight power chair to then for repair. Chair was working, but was losing power on inclines needed new rear tires. Was informed that due to age tires no longer available, but could be fixed by doing adjustments. Picked up chair after done, when tried to use for doctor appointment discovered had a flat tire so had to use a push chair. Returned to shop for repair. After finished took chair home. Yesterday tried chair it doesnt move or respond to controller.Have another doctor appointment on Friday, looks like Ill be getting pushed again. Dont understand why, I took a working chair in and picked up a chair thats useless. If you use this company make sure chair works before payment. Looking for alternate repair place now.They want to show me a new chair for purchase, but after two attempts to get a working chair fixed this is the last place Id shop at.

I REALLY appreciated the little bit of work I had done here. I forget the name of the gentleman who helped me, but he was clearly honest, and works with a great deal of integrity. He quoted me amazingly reasonable prices for the work I needed to have done. Unfortunately, the airline had broken my mobility device, and due to contracts went with another repair shop who charged at least FOUR TIMES as much as Alternative Mobility would have. This shop, and these folks are awesome, honest, and have integrity. To me, those are some of the most important qualities I would look for especially when it comes to my mobility and ability to get around in the world. Look no further. Make the drive, and support this awesome shop.

Excellent customer service! I was on vacation with my fiance, she got injured and needed a wheelchair for a few days. Both gentlemen were extremely helpful and kind. I missed them on Saturday as they were closed but I called and he informed me were I can leave the wheelchair because I was flying out. Amazing individuals, thats how you run a business :) thank you guys...hope I dont need one again but if I do, Ill be back :)

What a great place to be able to help us out with a problem on the EW72 scooter. Owner is very friendly and we felt our bill was more than fair for what was done. Most important was that they attended to us ASAP. I expected to leave overnight, which wouldnt have even been bad, but that was not the case. In and out in under 2 hrs and they didnt mind that we were looking over their shoulder. Very competent and professional. We are so happy to have found they while vacationing in San Diego. Great expereince!

We did not want to add a carrier or trailer to our Honda CRV. Nick showed that a ramp would work and it is perfect. We had stopped at other places but Alternative Mobility was by far the most knowledgeable and helpful. We bought a scooter and a ramp. He drilled the necessary holes in the bumper to steady the ramp. The service was excellent and the price was the best of all we looked at.We are planning to donate a rarely used power chair to them for the Wounded Warrior Project.We would highly recommend this place for your mobility needs!Thank you, Alternative Mobility, for making life much better for my husband!
