U-Haul closes at 7pm and they typically close the propane filling station at 630pm. I showed up at 648pm. They very well couldve told me to pound sand, but they helped me without question right away and the employee was extremely professional and we talked about trucks and RVs while filling my tanks. Great folks in there.

Please when bringing back the unit make sure not to leave anything in the truck, because they won’t give it back. Unless is something worth up to 300 dlls at least that’s what the manager at the place told me.

Always uses the excuse someone else reserved your truck when you request an additional day / extension on your vehicle. They have an easy 20+ vehicles sitting in the lot.

This is definitely my go to place when I need a moving truck.I reserved a truck on the 4th of November and kept it over night and it turns out I needed it longer, which wasn’t a problem at all. They charged me very little for an extension and let me keep the truck for 4 days!!I was even late to return the truck and they did not penalize me or charge me anything additional, as they were very understanding about my moving situation. I highly recommend. Even returning the vehicles are easy and can be done after hours also. They have many trucks and most of them are always available. Thank you so much for your help!!

Staff was most helpful. Picking up and returning the truck was very easy. Dollys, moving blankets,boxes basically all our moving needs where available there. The entrance however was a bit difficult there street address is listed on fourth ave but theres no driveway to access the shop. You have to make a right at the light before it(if your headed north on 4 the) road bends to the left : at the first street make another left: entrance to U-Haul is on your left.The parking lot is easy to get in and out of for your vehicle as well as the one your renting.They make your move as easy as possible. Have a safe and great move.

Rick is the awesome manager. He is very helpful and very fair! They are busy a lot of the times and sometimes the wait can seem a little long....... overall a great experience!

Our moving truck rental transaction was smooth. The vehicle was a great and the staff was helpful and professional, but the BIG shout out goes to Mark Fernandez. Without his good-natured assistance, I would have never found the cell phone that ended up impossibly lost in the space over the engine console cover.

Rented a van same day. They gave an estimate. Rented and out the door in under 20 minutes. Was only $1 different from estimate at the end. (I didnt put in enough gas). Great guys!!! Super nice!

This is the only uhaul center I rent from for our business needs. They are friendly and respectful. They keep a clean property and trucks/trailers are clean and ready. I am happy with their service!

I traveled from Mississippi to San Diego and was very pleased by the positive reception I got, especially from Aaron. I could tell this was a very busy U-Haul and he had a number of other customers, but I always felt as if I was given priority. The building was clean and well maintained, although I did notice the rat trap in my storage locker. There was definitely a large selection of U-Haul trucks, vans, and trailers to choose from.

Ricky gave me a great deal, although there is no elevator or lift to bring in boxes etc. I got a unit close to stairs as Im older. No air in the San Diego heat wave thank god Im not storing furniture. Close to my house and bwst custimer service

BEWARE OF SCAMMER RICK!! HE WILL BE BEYOND PETTY ON INTERIOR DAMAGES IN RENTED VEHICLES!! So INSPECT THE RENTAL & BE REAL PETTY WITH YOUR INSPECTION TOO BEFORE DRIVING OFF OR ELSE YOU WILL GET SCAMMED ON PAST PETTY SCUFFS, SCRATCHES, DENTS ETC.

They dont take cash. If you REALLY want to attempt a cash payment, bring a debit or credit card in YOUR NAME (that they will tell you they are swiping for $0, idk how they charge $0 and for what is a question beyond my grasp) and be prepared to leave a passport or ID or military ID as collateral because that isnt f*#$ing weird at all. . . at least they smile thoughout this process. ✋😟
