Horrible experiences again and again. 4 haircuts and 3 were extremely bad. The latest one I asked for something so so simple. A 1 one the sides, and 2 inches remaining on top. The lady cut the top with a #5 razor and now I look like a buzz cut. Told her it was “much shorter than what I wanted. What happened to 2 inches?” She claims, “that’s about 2 inches right?” HELL NO!! I am livid. Thought I’d give them one last chance, 3rd times the charm… NOT. EVEN. CLOSE. Definitely never going back there ever again, and I hope no one else does if they like their hair the way THEY want it, and not the way “man cave barbershop” wants it.Posted 2 pictures. The owner was straight up G with much respect and dignity and most of all pride for a self made man with lots of Faith and business sense, I felt like I was getting my sons hair cut in his living room, felt very much a part of💪💗🙏 I see the mens cave abundantly blessed and favored always 💯❤️✂️🙏

This is the worst haircut my kid ever got!!!! They charge me $30 and it’s super choppy cuts and made him bleed I didn’t leave a tip for the first time ever! But here is a tip go back to barber school .

Came from out of town to get my beard trimmed. When I was next a couple of the barber friends showed up and had to wait more, I ended up leaving because more of their friends showed up. I guess you have to call ahead of time and schedule an appointment.

Went there once and it was ok. I went in 2 other times, one time I arrived 20 mins before closing and they wouldn’t even acknowledge me standing there so I walked out. Another time I got there almost an hour before they closed and they told me that they were done for the day as they had some other people waiting.Haven’t gone back

I’m not the type to leave a bad review but this was just horrible I asked the barber for a med/high skin fade but the haircut I got was just horrible this was the outcome after he tried to fix it. I did say it was fine in the end but I was over the fact that he couldn’t even do a fade worst $30 haircut

Great experience great haircut just a little overpriced for me. Im a $10 hair cut kind of a guy and I paid $25 + tip. But once again great experience and great haircut.

Went in for haircut and shave. When I got there there was no wait. Not a place for kids music was unacceptable. Barber smelled like weed. I did not feel safe getting a razor shave from a guy who was not only shaking but also smelled like weed. I don’t think I will be going back. Also on my way out I saw most of the barbers out back smoking weed. Not cool

Came to get a simple haircut just a trim down and this place surpassed my most horrible experience and set a new record. You’re better off getting a haircut anywhere else in Chula Vista and I’m not exaggerating.

I made a 3 star review awhile back because I did not like my first experience there, but I tried to be fair and gave them several chances.I went there 4 times, and 1 out of those 4 visits Ive left satisfied. The other times (my first and last experience) were just terrible.Photo is from my 4th and final visit today, I deadass look like neapolitan ice cream. All I asked was to even out the sides and back with a trim.I left happy thinking I got a good cut, and paid $25. It wasnt until I got home, looked at mirror, and realized how sh***y the back of my head looks.Never going back there.

Probably the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. I was there for over a hour and got my hair butchered. The barbers bandaid kept falling off, kept saying he understood which cut and kept messing up and dancing. Highly disappointed, didn’t even pay the 25

Love this barbershop beautiful family! My son is super picky likes everyone , his favorite peep is Blanca. And my man loves this place as well. We recommend them they love to serve others and do their best to meet your haircut needs and other services.

Their haircuts come out really great, and theyre really friendly people. Nearly everyone there are natives of Chula Vista, so they feel like close family. The place itself is cool, with a pool table and video games. I dont partake in those activities but its nice to see everyone enjoy themselves. I havent had a haircut there without people complimenting me outside. Overall, really great place.

I have been getting my haircut at multiple locations, and just couldnt find someone that truly understood what I wanted and what I was looking for. The manager Jovanie is an awesome guy, right off the bat you feel like hes your friend and feel like you are with family , but the real star here was Bianca one of the barbers there. I have a very special head shape and its a struggle to try to explain to the barber what needs to be done so that it looks right, this girl went above and beyond and met every one of my details to the T, Im definitely going to keep coming back to cut my hair with Bianca and for the friendly service. Its how Bianca said all you have to do is explain exactly how you wanted your haircut and leave the rest to us. Bianca left me with out words, I cant stress enough how much of an amazing job she did, thank you guys!!!

I came in with my wife and son to get his hair cut. To start while waiting the music was very inappropriate not only for my wife but my son. B**** and P***Y is not what I would like for my family to be listening to especially at a Barber Shop. If this was an adult ONLY Barber Shop it be different. The cut was not good at all. The lady left a bald spot and very uneven. I wish I would have taken a picture before getting it fixed. Had to take him to another place to get it fixed. Will not be coming here again.

All the best barbers left. The tall guy with the glasses is garbage. THEY TRY TO TAKE THE MOST MONEY THEY CAN OUT OF YOU. I would not let them tough my hair. By the way all the good barbers left.

Decent prices. Got a haircut (3 on the sides and scissor trim on top and wasnt really done cleanly. You could tell the barber was in a rush. Oddly enough there was not that many waiting in line.

Fast.Clean. Good price. Miguel was polite and paid close attention to detail. Most importantly, he didnt rush the cut even though we were walk-ins right before closing time.

If I could, I would give no stars. Came in and was told there was a 20 minute wait with 2 people ahead of me. More people came in after me and were told the same thing. 55 minutes later, the same people who were in the chair when I first came in where still being helped. The entire time I was waiting no one approached me to say there would be a longer wait or even to acknowledge the fact I was there... waiting ... for almost an hour! Walked out and took my business elsewhere. Horrible service, ridiculously slow people working there, no sense of order. How do you make money with 2 employees working on 1 customer every 1 1/2 hrs? What a joke!!

Lupe is by far the best FEMALE BARBER my BF & MY 9M son have been going too. Her cuts, fades, shaves & single blade shaves are PERFECT & prices are better than locals. 9m loves Lupe, she very great & exccellent with babies & kids. Shes quick effecient & does a hell of a job.

Man talk about service this place is the very best , I have got the BEST barbers that a man can possibly have they are truly the best . And the 2 young ladies that are also there dish out some of the sharpest hair cuts a man can ask for come on down , I bring all my kids here and if you know me you know Ive got kids all over the region .

Chill place. My sons love it. NOT!!! MAYBE IN 2018! For my original review.Today they charged me $30 to cut a 6 year olds hair and they fd it up! Ill never go back! They told me it was an extra $5 for the skin fade. I asked for a 0. I ask for his hair to be long in the front, but they cut everything with an 8 on the top.

My regular barber was closed the day before an important job interview I had this past Friday in San Francisco. and i REALLY needed my hair to be cut. Been staying down in Chula Vista this week so decided to try the guys at the Mens Cave. I got there around 3pm, sat for a few minutes and then promptly greeted by my barber. In a matter of 20-30 minutes I was out of the chair and rockin a great lookingl business cut. Thanks guys for a good visit, great cut and hopefully a new job.

Its a pretty cool barbershop. They have games & the place itself its nice. The guy who cut my hair was gilbert. so i would recommend him if you guys wondering whos good at cutting hair there.

Pretty good but a little expensive

The store has darts, a play station and a pool table, they sell snacks and soft drinks. really fancy. What I really needed though, was a haircut. I did not need to play pool or darts, did not need to read magazines etc. That is all extra. The haircut is what counts. I was told there were 4 other people before me but there were 3 guys in the shop and one more came in later. My usual experience is that a haircut does not take longer than 20-30 minutes (for men). I waited for a loooong time. I was offered a drink and while that was a nice guesture, it did not get me the haircut any faster. I actually fell asleep while waiting and when I woke up 30 minutes later the same people that were being helped when I first came in where still in the chairs. Left and went else where after 1 hour and 45 minutes of waiting.

Its an alright place....ive taken my son there a few times. Sometimes they get it right and sometimes they dont.

Place opens only one person present as always, telling you other barbers are coming in, there is no consistency on the time it takes to get haircut. Wait time is on a average of 45 mins. Professionalism goes out the window everytime. I tried giving place the benefit of the doubt. But today it made it easier to make an opinion. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

I’d give them one star if possible. Terrible customer service walked in and not a welcome or anything of common curtesy.. ok second waiting over a hour to get a haircut . Why because these two “barbers” were taking so long to cut hair. It was ridiculous and I’m not one to complain but this was ridiculous. The way this shop is run it is going Under ! I don’t recommend this place to anyone .

I got charged 25 dollars for haircut and 25 for beard. 50 dollar trim.. way overpriced.

If you walk around chula vista I recommend this place for your haircut. Ask for Bryan or Blanca. Cuts clean and to the point. The place is clean and friendly. Family business!For a long time I searched for places but all failed, crooked cuts, sheared a total failure! When youre all like to be barbers these days, no one has the dedication that Blanca and Bryan give you as a client! For those who are married they will understand this, if you do not want your wife to return you back or tell you ask for your money to come back because I am so bad look for this place !! This place is the worst place that a boy has always been in a hurry when they cut it. He cant even cut it correctly. The truth is one of the worst places I have ever gone to.

Pity service, I can not say much of the cuts because they did not even attend me when they arrived nobody attended me, they did not even speak to me, I decided to wait and for more than 15 minutes they continued without talking to me they did not ask me if I was going for a cut or had any matter that attending as invisible I decided to get up and leave, on the other hand one of the barbers is remarkably under the influence of marijuana I think. The place is a good concept but very badly executed and completely devoid of customer service. Zero recommended.
