I called Geico Chula Vista to acquire a quote for a car that I currently drive in order to get a comparison of the insurance rates. Calling them was a pleasant experience. They provide rates that are competitive but still have good value as far as coverage. The Geico agent was quick to respond and very professional.

Customer Service Not That Great Have Been Waiting For Their Call For A Week No Good Service

Excellent service. I received the help of a lovely young lady, Idalia was her name. She was very professional, informative, and knowledgeable. She asked questions to ensure the policy was a perfect fit for my needs. She also followed up and asked if I had any issues. I had to change my policy and she updated it immediately. 20/10 would recommend.

Andrea went above and beyond. I would like to recognize her for being a true Geico representative. She was friendly, helpful and exceeded what I originally called for.

I shop insurance checking rates, benifits and services every 6 months for me and clients. When it comes to auto insurance no one can match Geico. They handled my accident claims whether my car or a rental like rock stars. In one case gave me money back on my policy. If you know what I know you would go with Geico too.

Super shady and deceptive would be the best way to describe them. Shopped around and received about 4 different quotes and of course went with the lowest one that had all the coverage I needed. After I paid a few weeks later they said I still owed more... When I looked into it I realized they raised my quote! What good does it do to shop around for the lowest quote if their just doing a rope a dope by quoting you a price they have no intention of honoring!!

Insurance experts! I wouldnt trust anyone else with my home, auto, cycle, RV, boat, jewelry, identity theft, etc. insurance policies! They give you honest quotes without the extra charges of brokers. Love that they are local and friendly! They also speak Spanish, English, and Tagalog so they can help a wide range of customers. Great office and great staff!! Give them a call if you need anything that needs to be insured.

I could not be happier with my experience. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The receptionist greeted me and immediately made me feel welcome. The services being provided exceeded my expectations. They make shopping for insurance a quick and painless process. Mariana is a wonder to work with! The language barrier is non existent as she is fluent in both English and Spanish. She definitely knows what she is doing and that comes as a breath of fresh air. Dealing with insurance is not the easiest thing to do, but it definitely was with Mariana. Thank you Geico and thank you Mariana!

Really exactly a 3-star. Not great, but adequate. Idalia is excellent, but for that reason she is difficult to get ahold of (I am guessing everyone asks for her). They will get done what you need, although at times it may take a couple of phone calls. OK place for insurance that I have been with for a while.

Incompetent jokers. As a promising new client, I offered my business to them on a silver platter and they blew it. I did an initial quote online for a car I was about to purchase. I also own another car, a home and I have an umbrella policy. Instead of inputting all that info in online, Geico emailed me and suggested I go into a local office so they can prepare quotes for everything. I called the local office and they said I could drop off all of my current insurance declaration pages to save everyone time and be as efficient as possible and they would beat the price. I had all the declaration pages, VIN # for new vehicle to add, copies of drivers licenses. Long story short, the newbie agent and his manager/mentor dressed in unprofessional faded t-shirt and jeans, attempted to lock me down and keep me there while they worked on the quotes. I gave them EVERYTHING needed to obtain an accurate quote (more so than most clients would), yet they wouldnt let me continue my day while they worked on them. Too, the associate came across very clueless when attempting to read simple insurance declaration pages even though he works in the insurance industry!!! To make things worse, the guy said he gets off 5 oclock and might not have time to get to it even though I got there about 4:00 and had already called in and the receptionist said come on in, well be able to get it done and most likely beat your current insurances price; even if he didnt have the time, there were no clients in the office and about 8 associates standing around gossiping and wasting time. As noted by the other reviews here, there is no doubt that these associates are very incompetent and clueless and love to turn away new clients.

Thank you for all your help. You guys did what I tried to do by myself online. I tried to get insurance from you guys(Geico), but first tried Progressive, and then Allstate(I think). Well point is, I couldnt get insurance from either one of them, but then the next morning, i went to Geico Insurance building and was able to get my motorcycle insurance in like 15minutes. In and out the door in about 20 minutes with auto payment set up and with insurance card on my hand. So to anyone trying to save time and money, I guess I will, and, can suggest going to your closest insurance building/store. Online, they ask so many questions that will just end up giving you a headache(I think this is how you spell headache). Anyways, Get your insurance ppl. Dont drive with out insurance!!! Theres all kinds of plans for all kind of wages.

Gieco is the worst insurance I have ever had!...They are really a zero, but you have to at least put one star to write a review on Google. Save yourself, dont use them... they drop me from their insurance without even though notifying me...they could care less if youre covered or not... I paid through their system and it didnt go through and they drop me right away... two weeks I received a letter saying that my have been cancelled and it had two weeks ago date on it... they dont care to tell you that your payment didnt go through...All they want is your money and told me to reinstate I had to pay six months....I have had Infinity Insurance, State Farm, Progressive and Allstate, I have never experienced this type of service. I plan on going back to one of those insurance companies.

Very disappointed in todays service. We presently have several policies with Ralph - 5 cars and house. Thank goodness our claim was only for one car, and not something scary like the house. When our 22 year old called to report being rear-ended last night, the operator told her over the phone that the claim wouldnt be enough to meet the deductible, and that she should call the other drivers insurance company. And, Im waiting for a response back from the person who deposits our premiums every month, but Im wondering what exactly do we pay Geico for? This isnt our first accident claim, and every other insurance company took our accident detail, contact info collected at the scene, etc. and walked us through what to do next - where to go for a vehicle inspection (sometimes they came to us), where to take it to be repaired, etc. Believe me, I WILL be calling the other drivers insurance company. My daughter said that USAA was very nice to her on the phone. Our Geico/Homesite premiums due in less than 30 days. Time to do some shopping, I think.

I originally gave Geico 5 stars, but when I got into a small accident (less than 2,000.00 damage) my rates went from only $59.00 a month to $200.00 a month. Needless to say, I am looking elsewhere for insurance. This is my first accident Ever that was my fault. No tickets and its raised that much. Yeah no. And when I complained, I was basically told too bad. So sad. Moral to the story is, its great if you have NO accidents NO tickets, if you have even One of either. Good luck getting a reasonable rate.

Just a bunch of typical racist giant nasty rude attitude Mexican women working there. And they wonder why Donald is doing what he is. They need to change their personality cuz it’s a turn off. I would never go that far south of San Diego if it wasn’t the only place I can pay my 6 months advance in person , I rather give a large amount of money in person get a receipt get me on camera paying it than over the phone and the only office is here which idk why there’s no other closer places to the central area but whatever at least I only go into that neighborhood twice a year to pay my geico insurance smh . Those people are egotistical and only for their own, which ten more minutes south they can be exclusively with only their own if that’s what they want. Otherwise last I check your still in the United States of America so act like it!

Geico doesnt protect its customers. The lady at fault who has geico only covered my damages and didnt cover my medical expenses. Thankfully, I have Allstate and they took care of everything for me knowing that the other driver was at fault. Geico has to get sued to cover anything they dont consider reasonable, worst part is that you will have to sue the person too because laws dont force insurance companies to pay. So be careful if you think you are Covered with Geico because you are NOT.

Dont go with Geico!!! They are horrendous!!! Someone tried to steal my husbands truck and pushed in the lock. I call Geico and afthey accuse us of insurance fraud, tell me that the steering colum damage is just wear and tear, and now they tell us it will be another month to get it fixed?! This is after of course we call them over and over again and our adjuster, Amy Ngo, goes on vacation and doesnt answer our calls. My husband and I are both active duty. Ive had Geico for 8 years. This is how you treat people who have been paying you for 8 years??Let me save you some time, dont go with Geico.

Honestly screw Geico. If you dont have them please dont ever get them as an insurance company!So I called to update my policy. Well they said I had to pay a 500 payment and the next payments would all be 197. This was the only way to keep my policy effective. I said ok. I asked if it was possible to change my date. They said it would be fine and to just call later to change it. So I confirmed that it would be 197 on the 27th and just the 500 for the first payment and Im good. Ok so today I had $82 taken from my account by Geico. I called them and the rep saw it on his side as well and said oh the $82 will probably just be deducted next month because the computer recognizes it as a non payment cause of your date change. Ok no.. I want my money I just gave you 500. Then they 3 way my bank (not necessary) just to make sure (hello you saw on your computer too). My bank confirms the amount was taken. So he says I will be refunded and everything is fine. Ok great. But I just want to double verify again... so next month will be my $197? He tells me no because that 82 has to go somewhere so Ill be charged next month for it. But why? So he tried to get away with not telling me I was gonna be charged again and in the beginning acted like it was a mistake that would be deducted.Well I just changed my policy to a whole new one then changed my date.What do you mean, I just updated it. Welp no, the last employee also lied and tricked me. Before I was on a pay as you go and they made me pay extra up front in case I am short one month. Something they did not make me aware of. They said this is what I HAD to pay. Not that it was an option!So Im arguing with this guy for 30min. Hes already said so many contradicting things. Then I speak with a manager. She wont let me talk to anyone higher up or give me contact info. She said because I asked for a new date they made me a whole new policy and that I had to pay extra. Ive been double confirming with all the employees. Not once did someone say I would have to pay in order to change my date. So now they forced me to pay more money up front and are forcing me to pay the 82. All because their employees didnt explain my options and when I asked my options they told me that I had to pay more and also changing my date would be fine and I would pay my normal bill.GEICO is sooo shady. Ive had so many employees lie to me. So please if this has happened to you let me know. Because if we file a case against them better believe it will turn into a million dollar one. Because everyone they have taken advantage of will get a check. Feel free to share. I do NOT trust this company at all now!

This review is for Geico in general, not for the office of Chula Vista, this company to start has no service in Spanish so if you have a problem you lose a lot of time in what you get a translator, I dropped a driver for a third Occasion and still appearing and charging for it, so there is no way to get ready and they keep stealing your money for a service you already canceled.
