Todd’s is the best! I highly recommend this business for many reasons. As a woman, I appreciate their integrity with treating customers right. My mother-n-law has supported this business for 20 years. They are extremely capable mechanics, especially in diagnostics. Where other mechanics throw parts at problem, Todd’s will diagnose issue. We travel over 200 miles to use this business because they are worth every penny. We’ve had to use other mechanics before and always end up coming back to Todd’s because they are far and beyond the best. And – they are fast and accomplish a lot in short period. Todd’s is the best business we know and you won’t be disappointed!

This place is AMAZING!! Ive been battling issues with my ABS system for over a year now. Ive taken it to 3 other places who could find nothing wrong. It was getting to the point, I was afraid I was going to rear end somebody. These guys were so thorough, they were able to notice a tiny spot in a wiring harness that was exposed and setting off my abs sensor whenever it came in contact with the coil springs. They fixed the wire, fastened it properly, and didnt even charge me for their time. Now thats customer service! How come no other shop ($100s later) could never figure this out. This is the only place Im taking my cars too! Great guys, great service, and amazing customer service!!

Went there for an oil change and multi-point inspection. Fried the rear differential on the freeway right after. Looked under truck and saw glowing metal through the hole where plug should have been....hmmm. They wouldnt take accountability, so I shelled out big bucks for a new differential (someplace else.) Looks like theres some good reviews, so maybe hit and miss at this place. Hopefully you hit.

Todds is a better than average repair shop. I have found them to communicate well on my level concerning any needed car repair I have needed on my car. Repair costs have been as stated on the estimate and work is usally done on time. Have used them more than once (more than one car).

Our family loved Todds Automotive! Weve taken 3 cars there in the past year and have had great experiences each time. The most recent visit was for a Chevy Cavalier. On the way home from getting the oil changed at Grease Monkey, the car started having serious problems. It wouldnt shift out of first gear, the speedometer stopped working, and the trac off light came on. We didnt know what was going on so we took it to Todds Automotive. They figured out what was wrong very quickly. The people at Grease Monkey had unplugged a sensor when they changed the oil filter, and didnt plug it back in properly. We should have been charged $45 for the diagnostic fee and the easy fix, but Todds Automotive didnt charge us anything! Well definitely be doing everything at Todds in the future, even things like oil changes!

Sounded like a good guy but couldnt help me for several months.

I had a fuel pump fail on my vehicle in the morning and had to be at work by 4pm. Every shop I spoke to said they wouldnt be able to get me in until the first week of October! I called Todds automotive Friday morning and told them I needed my car fixed as soon as possible because I needed to be at work that evening. Steve at the front desk said if you can get here fast, well fix it for you today. I called a tow truck and had it towed there at 10am...by 3pm Todds automotive said my vehicle was fixed! They even let me have the old pump so I could examine what failed. I highly recommend Todds if you want quality work done quickly with peace of mind.

Poor Diagnosis process. It’s just a guess and check process that you pay for. I’m out $400 and still have the same problem. Wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone. I am an experienced mechanic, worked diagnostics and repair in drivetrain for 8+ years. We just moved here from Montana and my tools are in storage, otherwise I would have fixed this myself. Clean looking shop, poor automotive knowledge. My 2wd minivan doesn’t have a transfer case but thanks for being willing to check it anyway. This is why mechanics are seen as frauds.

I wont be taking anything here anymore. They were excellent at one time, but the last time i took my truck here they messed it up pretty bad. They said they could put air conditioning in it and if i could get some used parts it would save me some money. I picked up a parts truck and dropped them both off at their shop. I also asked them to do a tune up and replace the lamps in the dash while they had it apart. They didnt even touch the truck for over a month. When i told them i was going to need to pick the truck up in three weeks, they threw in the parts from the parts truck in a day. Now my firewall and dash are all hacked up. The air ducts leak so bad you cant even tell the ac is running. They didnt even address the dash lamps or the tuneup. I cant remember exactly how much they charged me for their hack job, but it was around $1700.

Did great work on a car with many problems

Todd’s was always know for honest work and great mechanics, I think things have changed over the years. I’ve had issues with the last two vehicles I’ve taken in there. 1st was a Honda CR-V that was running rough. They diagnosed it to have stripped cam gears and needing a new engine for $3500. I then had the timing belt replaced for $250 after they had found the tensioner had failed. 2nd was on a 200k mile duramax where I was told all injectors and the injection pump were bad $6500 repair. I asked for the specific read outs and was told they were just insufficient. After doing an injector balance test myself and after testing fuel rail pressure we found it to be JUST the injection pump. $1600 repair form honest mechanics at another local shop will keep me on the road. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TODDS AUTOMOTIVE.

Last week, Dec 30, my family (7 of us) was heading down to Utah from the Rexburg area in our Suburban. Going down to celebrate New Years with family. The roads were wet and dirty and created havoc on our windshield. I couldnt get any fluid to come out of the wipers. By the time I hit I.F., I couldnt see a thing. Pulled over, filled up the wiper fluid reservoir, and checked to see if any fluid was coming out. Very little. I hoped we could still get by. By Blackfoot I was in trouble again. Called a friend in Chubbuck who referred me to Toms. I called them and Steve said theyd look at it as soon as I could get there. We got there just as the mechanics were getting back from lunch. Took about 10 minutes for them to get it in. 10 minutes later it was back out. The mechanic opened the hood and patiently showed me where the hose by the reservoir had been severed. He put a new one in. Awesome! Were still going to Utah! I went to the front counter to pay and the mechanic (never did catch his name) leaned in and told Steve, no charge on this one. NO CHARGE? When has a mechanic ever done that? Not to mention we were back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Wow is all we could say. Incredible business there. Ive told so many people about my experience there that Ive lost count. Thanks again guys.
