Chris was our sales person.He was very informative and accommodating. Tommy and Devin were very respectful and polite. They were on time and answered all questions we had. It was a total install of AC with a replacement of a furnace. I would HIGHLY recommend this company!

The guys were very friendly and professional. Made sure to wear shoe protectors so they didn’t track anything Into my home. They did a thorough check of everything and even commented about there being a leak in my attic from the roof at some point. I thankfully had the roof replaced about a year ago, but it was nice that he had noticed and let me know. They had my part on the truck and overall the service took about 45 minutes. I’d definitely recommend them! Their prices are also a bit cheaper compared to other competitors in the area.

Jordan was very knowledgeable and helped me identify any potential problems. My unit needed Freon, but my filters were extremely dirty. I am usually good about changing . Word of advice keep filters changed to avoid major expensive repairs. Overall great company and would recommend.

Everything you want a contractor to be! They were respectful, professional, responsive, and highly skilled. We needed to have ducts moved in order to have some structural repairs in our crawlspace. This was a time-is-of-the-essence job and they were the most responsive of all the HVAC contractors I contacted. They showed up on time and Austin did a very thorough estimate. I appreciate that they use technology in their communication, scheduling, and estimating. After he took measurements, he actually produced a technical drawing on his tablet and showed it to me. They produce their own duct-work, so could easily customize. The estimate was very reasonable and they were able to fit the job into their schedule to meet our needs. I highly, highly recommend this company!

The fan on the inside portion of our heat pump was not working - and on a Sunday late afternoon. We called the office phone expecting to leave a message and to have a cold night, and we were delighted to be directed to an on call technician. He was at our house in about half an hour, and luckily had the fan we needed in his van. He made the repairs in about half an hour. Nice, polite young man. We are very, very pleased with the service!

The technician was on-time, courteous, and very knowledgeable. I have used this business for more than 20 years and they have always treated me fairly. Although they have grown in size, they have not forgotten one of the most important business lessons, treat every customer as if they are your only customer.

One of my heat pumps quit working and a friend suggested I should call Grady-Perdue Heating and Cooling. They promptly sent a technician, Thane. He was very polite, covered his shoes each time he came in the house to protect my floors, wore a mask, etc. He completed the job in a very professional manner and my heat pump is working fine now. He was able to immediately send an invoice to my email so I could pay him on the spot. Everything was extremely professional from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs an HVAC technician.

They installed 2 furnaces and 2 heat pumps and the one in the attic wasnt put in correctly thus resulting in a horrific leak that came through the floor and damaged the ceiling. The ceiling actually fell in. They were supposed to pay us for the repair and its been 3weeks with no check and we have since paid for the repair out of pocket. The unit then quit working two more times and its been 3 weeks since they ordered the part that was supposed to take one week. Temps are in the high 50s on the bedroom floor so its been a cold three weeks. They never called to explain the delay or apologize for the inconvience. I fear the unit was damaged during the flood but they wont admit to that. The workmanship was sloppy, the workers tracked installation through the house and on clothes hanging in the attic. I would not recommend this company and Im considering contacting the Better Business Bureau.

Kelly is always professional and does a great job with the yearly maintenance on our Briggs & Stratton whole house generator and on-demand hot water heater. Next year we plan to have our HVAC serviced as well. Highly recommend.

I had a very good experience working with McGrady-Perdue. Our project was quite complicated as it involved installing a new heat pump on a very large very old converted schoolhouse with no existing hvac system. Chris really took the time to come up with a few creative options for the layout and we are super impressed with the final outcome. I felt very comfortable throughout the project and they did an excellent job of keeping the project moving forward. Their installers were hardworking and friendly. All around a great team to work with.

Very responsive! They had a technician out within just a couple hours of my call and despite having to go and get a part had the repair completed by early afternoon! The tech was also very courteous and did a great job explaining the problem and solution to me.

They serviced my gas log that I hadnt used in 18 months. The technician was very courteous and professional. He took the time to make sure that I was comfortable using the system and explained the options I had going forward.

Everything was fine. At this point, may 7th, I would hope that technicians would have been vaccinated since they are entering homes. Not the case today.

Very responsive to check my system due to an error code on the thermostat that has intermittently appeared for the past month. The error code was apparently for a high temp discharge in the air duct, which the system automatically mitigates by opening the dampers. Tech said it was not a concern and looked over the system. No correction was necessary. So, hopefully, all is well, as I dont recall seeing this error code since the system was installed several years ago.

Corey the technician was very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. He completed the requested work to my complete satisfaction, even finding a few other items needing correction.

We had some problems, but Austin, the service manager worked with us to get everything taken care of. Kelly is great. He’s knowledgeable, professional, and thorough.

On short notice, a representative visited the home Im renovating on the same day I called. He delivered his quote as promised after a through evaluation that made me very comfortable with his recommendations.

The technician charged for something he didnt do , then said he came back to fix his mistake however he must have been a ghost. Then ignored my calls, the manger said they would come out and check furnace but it was going to be a service call plus repairs. I do not recommend this company period! We rent a home from a company that uses this horrible heating & air company. We got back from vacation to our home over 80 degrees. Called the landlord and they called this company to come out. They said there was a leak and we had to keep the cool option off until the next day so the thing wasn’t frozen. The next day they show up and tell me that the coil is leaking and the part would need to be ordered. The guy said that the Freon should make it until they were able to come back out the next week. Called the landlord then told them about what the guy said. They decided to send another guy out saying the exact same thing. Very little work this company will do for you. How do you work for a heating & air company and do not have the proper things to fix it? Instead they are probably charging for each visit and the unit isn’t fixed!!! Thank god I’m not paying for this!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Our 12 year old heating & cooling system broke down. The technician that came out to service our system, had more interest in what he could sell us then actually finding the problem. The icing on the cake was when his Service Manager came out to “verify” the problem and try to sell us a new system at an astronomical price. Fortunately we did not buy into these tactics. We ended up calling Pearce service & repair. Robbie came right out after they left, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in 30 minutes. Knowing our system was getting old we asked what he would charge for a new one. His price was quite literally $4,200.00 less on a higher end model then what this company originally quoted us. Stay away from these people.

My name is Chris Downing - I reached out to Mcgrady-Purdue because I was having trouble with my 48kw liq cooled generator - Austin Smith was sent out - initially I was quite happy - much improved from the miserable experience I had with Diamond Acres - however that quickly changed - During one routine oil change he left me with a huge oil spill - no attempt to clean it up or even tell me about it - The extremely frustrating issues came about when I kept getting an error code - all Austin would do was reset the unit and leave - one time he tried to level the overflow container - hopeless - eventually the unit couldn’t be reset and that’s when the real frustration started - Austin is pretty much incompetent when it comes to these higher end units - he was completely outmatched - what made it worse is he wouldn’t reach out to Generac - it took him weeks to do anything - all he was really interested in was quoting huge service fees when this particular problem was covered by warranty - I urge anyone who has a high end generator to not call Mcgrady-Perdue and definitely don’t allow Austin Smith to touch it

McGrady Perdue Heating & Cooling, replaced our 1970 oil furnace with a new high efficient air handler and oil furnace, they were careful to match up with tran heat pump we added few years ago. I learned matching the new unit to existing system and duct work properly would result in a more cost effect HVAC. Im thankful they took the time to consider all the factors of our home and unit before recommending to us what we should have. The cost was a fair price and the value is great. Also the service technician was very careful when taking the old heavy unit out of the house and keeping everything clean. Thank you

Weve been having them do our HVAC work for 10+ years.. Quick service, courteous people, top-notch work.

The technician was trained on the system and did do a good job with the maintenance and installation, once he had what he needed.He did not have the tools needed for the job. Went to get it at shop and its broken. Then had to go to Lowes to get a replacement. Due to this he didnt start until almost 11 AM, when he was scheduled for 8:30 AM. Due to this I missed a lot of work that day.They charged me 2 hours labor for a warranty repair, which for the tank install took literally 15 minutes. The extra time was due to need to drain and refill the system, which was required because they didnt design the system properly in the first place (they installed my system in 2016). I should not have been charged $300+ for that.The radiators in my system have air vents which are not at the top of the radiator for some of them (they are 100 yrs old). As a result, I guarantee I will have cold spots in some radiators, due to air pockets, when the system gets turned on in a few days, which will require me to crack the seal on the valve knobs on them. If the system hadnt had to be drained, none of this would have been necessary - which points to the poor design practices I allude to above.The poor design practices was also realized when they had to replace the main zone circulation pump to one that had twice the capacity, per instructions from Navian technical support, 2 years ago. Why wasnt this done properly with the original installation? They calculated the system capacity, so they should know what size circulation pump should be installed.If I could find another Navian certified contractor in my area I would use them over this company every time.

All M-P team members are pleasant and punctual with answers for all our lay questions. When issues have come up, they consistently send a service person to troubleshoot or replace components, fluids, and controls. M-P installed a quality replacement heat pump in our first home and the new dual-system in our current abode with touch screen controls and WiFi connectivity on each level. We can use any connected device to monitor and adjust the temp and fan modes of the entire house. Remotely. Bam!

Contacted them because ac once you switch from heat was inop, they sent a technician out and he check everything and blew out a drain line and got me fixed $160.00, a little over a week later guess what ac a no go again , contacted them and sent the tech back out to check everything again .... for a additional 80 diag fee which was no biggie they said even with it being the same concern it had been over a week. So another $170.00 and a high pressure switch later ac is working again. Well.... two days later guess what no ac , this time they sent their service manager out to check system within 15 minutes he found the issue the line on the txv valve was broken going to the bulb causing the pressure to be high. Provided me a quote and said part was extremely expensive and it would be 1100 dollars to replace and would take 4 hours to complete. I told them to go ahead and order part and schedule job, upon researching cost I found a factory Lennox valve cost about 150 dollars which would make their labor about 250 an hour, I ended up calling and cancelling job . I ordered my own parts and am having a different company handle install of part. They informed me that it not that severe of a job! I do have to say everybody there is polite and accommodating when you call, I would really like some type of compensation on last repair due to the fact the service manager said it was such an easy find.

The unit is still not working correctly. Will be calling on 12/28/20 to complain.

I would suggest getting a second opinion on any major repairs or replacement they recommend.

I have had good service from McGrady Perdue for many years! Always very nice people to deal with.

Justin came here and said my freon was low which was causing my heat pump to defrost a lot he put in a pound of it and said I was good to go @$40 a pound but 2 or 3 days later its doing the same thing again I guess the $125 bill was wasted if I call him back it will be another $80 service call.

Heat pump has been broke for a week ! Said they ordered the part last Thursday the 26th September which they did not ! They ordered it supposedly yesterday Monday 30th of September! Was supposed to be repaired today Tuesday October 1 says the part hasn’t come! We have spent one week in 90 degrees heat miserable! Not truth worthy or reliable!

I have been without air conditioning for 5 days and on Thursday it will be a week. I was told that the part was not in yet and I had mentioned to the guy who looked at our heat pump to overnight the part but he said he didnt do that and he wasnt sure how it worked. I spoke with a lady and she was not very helpful because she told me that they dont offer over night to customers because it was 100.00.?! I didnt understand that at all.My daughter missed school today because she couldnt sleep because it was too hot. I hope we can get the part today and have it installed I feel that this happened because we were covered under a warranty. They didnt make any money so I feel we were pushed to the side because of that reason. I know it takes times for parts to come. But I see on the website they offer emergency calls on the weekend but yet I was told even if the part came on Friday it would not be installed.If I had known this I would have went through someone else but like I said we have a warranty so?

Had them replace my AC and furnace. Brandon did a fantastic job explaining the various options and did not push any particular one. Worked with my schedule for install. Install guys were professional and polite.Brandon came back a week later to see if any issues or questions. He pointed out a couple of minor things he didnt like and had the crew come back and fix. All in all, an excellent experience!

McGrady & Perdue installed our heat pumps in late fall, and were extremely professional and efficient. When our pumps failed with the heating season already underway they added us to their busy schedule and replaced the pumps within a week. They removed all of the packaging as well as the old heat pumps. After experiencing problems with one of the thermostats, they returned quickly and replaced it. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC work. Their dedication to their customers is demonstrated in all they do. They are fantastic!
