Went to midwest for a bad tooth while pregnant, they didnt want to do anything for me but to send me to an oral surgeon to take it out. I want to try to save my teeth. Got a 2nd opinion at different dental office. They had no problem doing x-rays and are going to do a filling. Will never go bk to midwest dental

The service at Midwest dental is ALWAYS top notch!!! I wouldnt even think about going to another dental office!

I really appreciate the efforts Midwest Dental is taking to keep themselves and patients safe from the spread of infection. Aside from that, my hygienist is the reason Ive stayed with Midwest Dental. Shes personable, professional, and kind.Update: For some reason, this office cannot keep a dentist for very long, and the quality of the ones they do bring in, permanent or temporary, varies. I originally began going to this office because I knew the dentist who was there at the time and he did good work. Ive stayed because of my hygienist, but after the work the most recent dentist did, I may not be going back.

I typically go to a dentist in Madison, but when I moved to Chippewa Falls, I had to find a new dentist- so I tried out Midwest dental of Chippewa Falls. I had to have a a filling replaced that I originally had installed when I was 11 years old. At my appointment the dentist seemed rushed, and didn’t communicate with me during the procedure of what was happening or what to expect. She was snippy with the assistant hygienist when they were both working on my mouth at the same time. I had no idea that I was going to be numbed and wasn’t told until after the dentist feeling an intense pain and then watching the Syringe come out of my mouth. Also, my last filling that was installed, was smooth and not noticeable, and my filling that was just installed is very noticeable and not smooth to the surface. My prior dentist always had great customer care by showing me in a mirror what the end result would be and how they are changing my current teeth, however this dentist did not share anything which made me feel uncomfortable. I have been in pain since getting the procedure which I have never had before with a filling.

Im not one to write a negative Google review, but our experience at this provider was unfortunately unacceptable and questionable. My husband and I had recently moved to the area and chose to try this location out as they had mostly decent dental reviews. My husband and I have always kept up with our dental health and have had no issues with our dental health history. Upon my appointment, I was told I have 6 cavities. My husband went to his appointment and was told he has severe periodontal disease. Interestingly enough, this was diagnosed off a set of x-rays which were transferred to this location from another provider (of which did not see any issues on the same film). He also was seen by an orthodontist less than a month ago who said his teeth looked fantastic. It appeared upon both of our visits that primarily procedures (not regular cleanings) were being done in every other exam room. They refused to perform a routine cleaning on his teeth, which is what his appointment was for, unless he agreed to an upgraded deep cleaning procedure, with an upcharge. He asked for a regular cleaning, and they refused to serve him. Now, due to them billing services out to our insurance providers, we cannot get cleanings or exams done for another six months. On side notes, upon my checkout I had overheard another patient being charged for $1400 for her services, of which she was only quoted $600 for previously. I would highly suggest avoiding this location at all costs. I believe they had recently changed providers, perhaps that is the issue. Please avoid this provider at all costs.

My wife and I have been going to Midwest Dental for a number of years. First started out when it was Park Avenue Dental with Dr. Snyder. We have never had a bad experience at Midwest. The entire staff is friendly from the front office to the Hygienist and Dr. Clark. Kelly was my first Hygienist and she was great. Sara is now my hygienist and she is equally great. We no longer have insurance and they give a 5% discount for paying the bill the day of the service. Regular checkups have kept us cavity free for many years. As a side note by 46 year old daughter had braces with Dr. Snyder when she was 13 years old.

I love the people here and have gone here for years - even before it was Midwest Dental. But no longer can ever call there directly. Over and over again, the answering machine picks up. When at work, I can not be called back so I am very frustrated with this situation. This is not a one time only situation- this has been going on for the past several months when I try to talk to a person there. I wonder why this happens?

These other reviews arent bunk. I went over a decade without visiting a dentist, based solely on my opinion that the dentist is awful. I was having severe tooth pain that was spreading to my sinuses, so I had to go. Dr Clark and his staff couldnt have been more helpful and friendly. I had a lot wrong with my teeth, but I didnt feel judged. I got a cleaning and a write up for future needs. I waited until I had insurance to go back, and my experience was just the same. Friendly staff, calming dentist, and a great, painless job. I got a cavity filled (perfectly) with no discomfort or anxiety, and was out in less than 30 minutes. I know have zero hesitation making a new appointment because Dr Clark has won my confidence

Im not a super fan of going to the dentist. I will fight it every step of the way so going somewhere personable is important to me. Every time I walk through the doors here, they not only remember me, they remember personal facts about me. I can talk and joke around with the staff, which make me feel like Im out to lunch with friends!

I started going here about a year ago and I just love the friendly atmosphere. Everyone is so nice and I feel like they really care about my well being. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

Excellent and thourough care. Very friendly and non-judgemental. They went out of their way to fit me in their schedule. I wouldnt go anywhere else now that Ive had this experience here.

I have not always had dental insurance and am guilty of not going to a dentist as often as I should. But Midwest dental is so welcoming and friendly and understanding that it calmed my anxiety. Every person there is extremely friendly and thoughtful. They all know my name before I get in the door and make it feel as though im at a friends house more than a dentist office. Kate, the receptionist, has even dug in and figured my insurance out where most other places just tell you to figure it out and then come back. They make getting back to the dentist as easy and enjoyable as a dentist office can be. I will definitely recommend them and continue to have all my work done there.

I did not have trouble here before the latest dentist. I have 0 trust in her or what she is pushing onto the the hygienists. BEWARE

Everyone is super friendly and its a family like atmosphere . Sarah did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth and was super gentle yet extremely thorough. Everyone is always very smiley and happy throughout the whole staff!

Quoted much cheaper exam ect. On arrival was asked to pay first. They would not do a quick look to see if a tooth was savable without paying first. Money GRUBBING outfit.
