Buyer Beware!!!!!On 1/16/19, me and my fiancé purchased a Vizio 65” TV for our new house. We moved in on 2/2/19 and opened the TV to have it set up for Superbowl. After opening the box, we found no power cord, no TV leg stands and no remote. We took it back to Walmart where it was looked at by 5 people, only for the returns clerk Shirley to say it cannot be returned. Apparently the TV is not even a 65” and it does not have the same serial number as the box. Walmart sold us the WRONG TV and now they refusing to take it back. Shirley stated it can’t be returned and when asked what the next step is she turned around and with ATTITUDE said “call 1800 Walmart.” After calling 1-800-WALMART I was given a reference number and told I would receive a call from the store manager, Joe, within 3 business days. Well 3 days pass with no phone call. Again, 1-800-WALMART was called and advised we have not received a call. Another request was sent to the store manager and FINALLY we received a call. Without even looking at the TV the store manager flat out said no it can’t be returned. We asked for an investigation to confirm the tracking of the TV as apparently this was an inside job. Store Manager Joe stated he would look further into it and when he was contacted the next day he stated he could not look further into it and nothing else would be done. I even got a power cord to make the best out of this messed up situation and the TV is CRACKED!!!! Walmart is screwing us out of $900.00 with no further investigation, apparently they don’t care if their employees steal and definitely do not care for their customers. Returns clerk Shirley has no customer service skills as she was RUDE. Store Manager Joe has no customer service, nor values his customers at all. Instead of looking into this issue and finding out who really stole their TV they let the customers suffer.I refuse to give Walmart any more of my money. From now on I will only shop at Target and Costco.
Would not cash payroll check from Eastwest bank.
