Ive been coming here for about a year now. They have gotten a lot better at making sure the mens bathroom is clean, however one of the towel dispensers will always be empty in there. The rest of the gym is pretty clean, the only thing they need to step up on is making sure the sanitizong wipes are stocked at ALL times.

Assistant Manager Kacie needs to have better customer service and be knowledgeable with policies and terms. Even if a member might be unpleasant, as the assistant to the manager she should not make it evident that she does not wish to assist the member. Facial expressions are everything. Though there is a sign on the wall stating NO JUDGEMENT, her demeanor can definitely make someone feel as if judgement is exactly what they are receiving.

Great gym went to go check it out and they gave me tour and was very impressed how clean of a gym it is and the staff super friendly. They even let workout with out singing up yet. I would definitely recommend this gym and this location.

The place is PACKED. everyone and there mom goes here. You also have a really strange environment where you have your groups of young guys following around the alpha young guy hogging up equipment. (Anyone who has been here knows EXACTLY what I mean). At the end of the day this place is just WAAAYYY to over crowded. Good luck getting a bench or squat rack.

Its a great gym, i prefer other locations but this one is open late. it would be cool if there was an extra barbell too since everyone waiting on one all the time. i really do have a problem with the staff. one guy in particular seems to bully people, I have heard him gossiping about guests and such. just not tasteful, people just want to get a workout in you know? at least go and help them instead of making fun.I have friends that go here, and I have made some, and ALL of them just hate this guy lol its sad!! hes bossy and loud and just plain rude. someone is going to have a problem with him, if they havent already. I dont even know his name but im sure people that go here often know exactly who im talking about. Be better! nobody wants to feel like that at the gym.

I joined this gym since I will be working in Chino two weeks out of the month. I enrolled online with no issue and went into the gym to get my tag. The employee who checked me in was helpful.Man, this gym is small and crowded. Even when not in full capacity. I can’t help but comment on the guys who spend hours kicking the sandbags. I’m not sure if they’re practicing for their next MMA tournament, but they are kicking their sweat everywhere when they perform their roundhouse kicks.Otherwise, I have not had any issues with the staff or gym goers.

The one in Upland is horrible they lie and go into your bank account and will double charge you. I had to close out my debit card so that they could not have access to my account. The one in Upland is horrible dont go there. Anthony the manager needs to be fired. Horrible horrible place

Good gym. Like most crunch gyms. Not much natural light. Clean. Good place to workout. Didnt give it 5 stars, because of the sketchy people passing through the parking lot most days.

Giving this gym 3 stars at this time because I’m grateful they’re open when most other gyms are closed. However, if other gyms reopen and nothing changes at this gym, I’d drop it down to 2 stars. It is a smaller gym with older equipment/amenities. It is pretty packed most days/times but that may be due to being one of the only open gyms. The cleanliness of the gym would be my biggest complaint - mostly the locker rooms. There is consistently no toilet seat covers, no paper towels, no toilet paper, and NO SOAP. You’d think during COVID, having soap in the dispensers would be a top priority.

Treadmills are about 30 functional. Not due to pandemic, just poor management and maintain enence.

Its a small gym, sometimes it is too busy but I enjoy it and have yet to have major problem.

Honestly they have the worse female staff. They either turn off the lights 15 mins before they close. Or theyre blaring at you counting down every minute before they close. And lord forbid you stay .001 millisecond after they close because theyre in such a rush to leave...Bad gymPoorly cleanedBad customer service.But its cheap so you get what you pay for.

I had a membership and wanted to cancel. I kept calling and calling and no one would answer. I also googled the 1800 customer service line and i couldnt get through. I emailed the manger twice.Once I was able to reach someone I told them I wanted to cancel and asked about the charge of $70. I spoke to a young lady who stated she was the manager and suggest going through my bank and getting it reimburse through them as they would take forever to reimburse me. She stated that she could also speak to my bank if needed to authorize it and assured me that they would not dispute the claim. I did just so and received a letter in the mail from my bank stating they could not reimburse me as the transaction was authorized. I proceeded to call Crunch again and was told that whoever i spoke to gave false information and they would not reimburse me my money. Terrible customer service. Note: a couple of times I was there by 6 or 7 am and they were still not open. Should have known better.

Great environment and staff

I was looking for a new gym last year and decided why not try Crunch. I looked at the reviews for this location and a lot of negative reviews and decided to ignore them and still give this gym a shot. Worst decision Ive ever made. The manager and staff are rude, their trainers are also rude one trainer tapped on my shoulders while I was about to squat, thay could have ended up very bad and to add on top of that she was extremely snoty and extremely unprofessional while the other members at Crunch are the most rudest people youll ever meet. Overall just a bad gym with bad vibes if youre looking for just a place to workout and dont care then its a decent place to workout they have most of what you will probably need. Overall would not recommend this gym save your money and find a better gym.

For the most part I enjoy working out at crunch fitness in Chino. It is frustrating when you come to the gym at 5am and its not opened as scheduled. Ive waited until 6 and the gym still hasnt been opened. I understand life happens but hopefully this isnt a reoccurring theme.

I signed up to this gym to give it a chance it looked like they had a proper locker room and decent weights but come to find out the lockers are from 24 hr fitness they didnt even have the decency to remove the stickers that said 24. Now when it comes to the weights there is little to no room to workout nit to mention only 1 squat rack, a platform that has the ufc logo on it with outdated plates that dont even fit the bar and basically ruins your whole workout if you even attempt a deadlift. Dont worry tho there is 4 rows of cardio machines. The whole place gives me vibes that it was purchased after a previous gym shut down or the owners literally bought all the equipment for cheap because it was used and runned down and now they are just profiting off of all the subscriptions. In all honesty if you are going to run a gym be proud of the equipment you have to offer. Only reason im working out here is because its the only gym open but you best believe as soon as the other gyms open up ill be switching as fast as possible.

They will keep charging you even if you try to cancel, avoid this gym at all costs maybe consider buying your own weights and see what you can do at home a membership here is burning your money they make it so difficult to cancel your subscription and then send you a bill months later just dispute that with your bank

I forgot my weightlifting belt, they found it and it became theirs. You also had to audacity to allow me borrow my belt. Lol. Whats all this about being respectful? Maybe because my original club is diamond bar and they are only respectful to Chino members. Two stars because its rarely ever packed.

This gym had a male personal trainer here that set me up on recurring personal training after I only wanted to sign up for 1 month. I agreed to tier 2 @$249 but he charged me $350 and then hit my card again the following month. The manager Angel does nothing to resolve this matter and says I need to complete the cancellation form which I already did twice, most recently this past Friday and denies to issue a refund. Definitely regret joining this gym.

I really like the vibe at crunch, and I really appreciate the good customer service from Elise Swanson, always plays good music so I can get my drive on my workouts!!!!!

Good clean gym with up to date equipment. Enough weight training equipment for even the advanced lifters. It even has heavy punching bags. And its a lot cheaper than other big name chain gyms. Unless you prefer to workout after 11 pm, I would choose this gym over 24 hour fitness.

Ive been coming to this gym for a little over 3 years now. While I was able to overlook a few leaky ceilings, broken machines and an overall small area to work out in, the place has certainly changed in the last few months. The regulars have all gone on to other gyms, our favorite club manager is no longer there, but instead replaced by someone who is a by the book manager, completely taking away from that home away from home feel. Staff from years prior really worked hard to make you feel welcomed and not like just some gym member New staff makes you feel like a number. Seems like the only thing that matters now are member fees and taking your personal items to borrow equipment. We are seriously considering becoming regulars at the new Corona location.

Very Rude staff. VERY rude management. Bad experience with this gym. If you want to waste your money and time and recieve horrible customer service then this place is for you. Planet fitness is down the street and there price is reasonable. 24 hour fitness is also located across the street. I suggest you check out those gyms first and avoid this place and their unfriendly staff.

Ive been going to this gym since last October and so far Im satisfied with their service and equipment. There were a couple of occasions where the gym was quite packed and the building was very hot and stuffy. The manager has always been helpful and friendly.

I was a customer for years there but I was a victim of injustice there the manger who has the 30k on Instagram rob my card to pay something else I would like to place a police report but I wanted to make it right but he acted like he didn’t do nothing

Great staff, has everything i need to workout with minus a swimming pool, but for $9.99-19.99/mo what can i ask for. Docked one star for equipment service, been going since September 2017 and the amount of machines that break just makes me wonder where the annual maintenance fee goes, especIally with how crowded it can get, which means there’s a lot of members. Yet more often than not a machine is broken.

I love my gym, the staff is always friendly, the machines are always clean and the members are great. Im pretty sure when my membership is up for renewal, I will stay there. The price is right for all they have available for me.

Be very careful!! I was told there was no contract and i just tried to cancel because the $24 per month I signed up for all of a sudden doubled to $49 and the explanation was it was maintenance fees! REALLY??? and I was told I am stuck until March of 2019. What happened to the no contract??VERY DISHONEST!! I am going to file a complaint. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!

This crunch is very clean and functional for the most part. The service is very good and easy to communicate to. The only exception. Would be the maintenance portion of the location.

DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL LIE TO YOU. My fiancé and I chose Crunch over Planet Fitness because of what they offered. We chose the most expensive non-contract plan because of what it included. However, we only went to the gym for about a week before we decided to cancel. The machines did not work properly and when we signed up for a personal trainer, they said there was nothing on file so there was no one there for us when we arrived. We told them we wanted to cancel and they said our membership was cancelled. Six months later we get a letter from a collection agency stating we need to pay for six months that we did not use. BEWARE!!!

Ive been coming here for over a year now and the equipment used to feel new and most importantly clean. Now there are a handful of non working treadmills and alot of the equipment looks like its never cleaned/disinfected. I still have the membership where I can visit any Crunch location and this one has slowly become on of my least favorites.

Love this gym. The Pound class last week was epic. Hard core workout and so much fun. We need a pound class on Sunday Crunch.

I like that you can either have the gym to yourself if you go on the weekends, we used to have a terrible manager but now we have much friendlier one thats changed the gym very positively. So far ive been here for 3-4 years coming from a 24hr fitness. Also its cheap as hell you cant beat 10 dollars a month. Its a good gym small, but its good.

Everything was going great until i decided to get a package of 4 sections of personal training for $140.00 one time fee. Completed the sections and now they are charging me again 140.00 without my approval for another section. I told them i didnt ask for it and they told me you should of canceled! No contract was signed for this charge. They are now not wanting to give me my money back! and now all of a sudden they cant help me and that i have to go thru corporate?!!!

After going there to cancel my membership and paid ridiculous fees for cancellation I dont know if they are too lazy to update their system or what is going but as of now Im still being charged for something that I dont use! I called and no one can give me an answer, I just want my money back!

I moved back into this area and this is the closest gym to my place. It was no longer 24 hour but figured I would give it a shop. I tried it for a few days for free and then tried the new 24 hour fitness. I ended up joining 24 hour fitness. My issues with this place is that they call and text me. To this date its been over a year. Now Im even getting calls from Crunch in Upland. This gym clearly doesnt get the hint that I do not want to join and passes information from location to location. Dont give them your info unless you want to be harassed for over a year from multiple employees and locations.

This is the worst billing situation. I signed my daughter up for this gym she went for a month and called to cancelled. They agreed here we are 6 months later getting a call from a collection agency. About how she owes them $84. I would never recommend this place. And plus they never sent a bill just straight to an attorney for collection. Wish I could cuss on here I am so angry.

This has been the most frustrating experience. I have tried, multiple times, through both email and phone calls, to cancel my account with Crunch Chino gym. The cancellation was never processed and my account continued to be charged monthly. I finally had to close my account and began receiving text messages, emails, and phone calls. I tried calling, again, to speak to someone regarding my cancellation and was told there was nothing she could do about it and I would have to call when a manager was on duty. This is ridiculous. I will NEVER again give this gym ANY bank account information. I cannot believe how difficult it has been to try and cancel my membership! Especially since I have moved over and hour and a half away. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION!!!

Tried the one-week free trial membership to test out the place. Decided not to move from 24 because it gets way too crowded. I still get texts from time to time from them hounding me to come in and start a membership.

Be aware of one those trainers, his names is Brandon, he doesnt respect Woman, this brainless guy think hes so cute to be messing arround with femenine crunch customers, this is disrespecfull and unprofessionally for a trainer! And the new manager venezia is not taking her job seriously, many good employes are quittinn about her unprofessionally attitude! Customer we are not happy on her!Go somewhere else where owners think serios on keep customers happy!

My car got bashed in and robbed 50 feet from their front door at 7:30 AM before work, on a tuesday 3 weeks. agoAn employee informed us not to park on the theft side of the building where I got broken-in on, because theres no cameras on that side of the building.I called management and asked them to improve security by installing cameras where my car and other cars were robbed - including and employee of the gym.The manager got totally irritated and told me they can never install cameras on the outside of their building to improve safety because of the commercial owner.Im never going back, till they have cameras on the outside of their building. The parking lot is unsafe. I was robbed right near their front door. Having your money, IDs stolen, credit cards and ATM cards robbed outside the gym sucks. Especially when the gym doesnt care about improving the safety for me to come back.I paid alot of money for a membership and I wont return till they have cameras for the parking lot.Sucks. The reason I give it a star is because it has no way to give it -5 I had the membership For 6 months the gym was fine.When I moved to Arizona I canceled it and they still charged me for 6 more months I went to claim and they just say that it was not canceled and they can not do anything they are trash.

My girlfriend and myself went to cancel her membership, paid the last month and they continue to charge me. When called and confronted with the situation Im told I need to drive down to the gym, two cities over, because of a mistake their employees made. VERY UNHAPPY with this negligence. If I ask to speak to a manager, get a manager, dont tell me you are one then let me find out that you really arent.

Gym has a weird layout. Free weights area is so narrow you cant even walk around in. The showers were pathetic. Zero privacy. I wont be returning to this location

Receptionist was discourteous on the phone . Tried to cancel my membership and the date i was suppose to cancel it family was in the hospital i told them this and cold heated as they are now i have to pay cancellation fees .
