I have been to Gabriel’s twice. The first time was because I was referred by a friend Patricia Martin. Gabriel and staff is great to work with, professional and reasonable. I feel like he is very trustworthy and explained very well what I needed and I didn’t feel like he was trying to oversell a service I didn’t need. I revisited Gabriel’s this past weekend for an oil change and I am equally happy with the service I received. My family loves the hot sauce he gives me each time we visit the shop.

Ive used Gabriels twice. Once for my wifes Mustang a couple years ago and last week for my F350 service.Ive taken my truck back to the Chino Hills Ford for its regular service until May when they said they completed the work but in actuality only performed half the job. Then I waited mo the for a call back from their SRM and then recently weeks for a c/b from their service manager. So I decided I needed a new shop to service my truck. I brought it into Gabriels. They were professional and actually treated as a respected person rather than another wallet to take from. They quoted me a price which was reasonable and provided an estimated time it would be done, and they were fairly accurate, and then called me when complete.When I came in to pay, again treated like a valued customer.Ive only used them twice but was extremely satisfied both times.SO..Ill be bringing my truck and wifes car in for any work needed.

Love Gabriels! I have been coming to him for all my car needs since I bought my first car at 18! Lets just say its close to a decade now! Great customer service and always send you home with a little bottle of tapatío!The only down fall is it does take a couple hours as they have MANY cars! This is why I usually do my own oil change or pay someone to do the labor. I buy all the supplies, but for anything else that is not as easy as an oil change, Gabriels Automotive is my go to mechanic!

Gabriels Automotive is great if youre looking for parts (catalytic converter, transmissions) that not even your local FORD dealer can get! Gabriels been in business in Chino for years & the prices are reasonable. The staffs just wonderful to work with. They explain everything so its easy to understand even if your not very knowledgeable about car repairs.

Well, at least they were polite in person. They never returned calls, or called back for diagnosis. I told them what was wrong. Needed a new bearing. Called to get an update, they said I needed a new tire and a new rim. My husband went in, showed them what was wrong, and they admitted they never saw that before. Honestly they didnt look at it. They came up with a fake diagnosis and a price. At least when my husband looked at it, the price went down. They fixed it just fine after that. But, not worth going back.

Gabriel and his team are amazing! I took my Explorer in for warranty repairs. They kept me informed daily on the status of parts and what they found while fixing other items. There was no price gouging on things that werent covered under my warranty, everything was reasonable. They didnt find things just to make an extra buck. They made sure my car was fixed properly and was safe for me to get back on the road. I 100% recommend taking your vehicle to them for any repairs!

Over the past few years Gabriels Automotive has taken care of various needs on my truck, everything from oil changes to a new alternator. Theyve serviced my air conditioner and fixed an issue with my gas tank. My truck is a 2005, but luckily Gabriel and his team have helped me to keep it in very good shape. Its so comforting to have a place like Gabriels so I dont have to worry when something comes up. Theyve ALWAYS treated me with courtesy and respect, and I appreciate that most of all. These guys are great. They really took care of me when I couldnt get my truck to pass smog. They came to my house to pick me up and they dropped me off when I left my car. Having recently moved to Chino Hills, I needed a good and reliable auto mechanic and I fortunately solved that problem when I came across Gabriels. In addition to routine work, Ive had a couple of surprises that Gabriels was able to deal with quickly, effectively, and on very short notice--getting me back on the road at reasonable prices. And being able to get a ride home and then another back when the car was ready was a big help.

Had my Fiat serviced before making a trip to Minnesota. No problems, no issues, and Fiat made it through a snowstorm in Vail pass (Colorado) AND even made it through 10.4 of snow once we arrived in Minnesota! Previously, I had several very bad experiences at another brand name auto repair place in Chino Hills. This was my first time with Gabriels. Everything went great! All of the staff, including Gabriel, were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. Their prices are very fair. Ill be bringing in my other two cars when they need service. Highly recommend!

They were great at communicating with me when I took my car in to get fixed. I even got a rental from them because my car needed to be kept over the weekend. I even got a follow up text from Gabriel after I had my car a day or so just to see if everything was running fine. My husband loves that they give you a bottle of hot sauce once you pick up your car! I have had my front and rear brakes done, air-conditioning, and water pump changed. I had a concern and called and have had no problem with them being willing to look over their work. I recommend this place and I am skeptical of mechanics!( As a woman, I feel most mechanics try to use that to overcharge) They also make sure you approve the work before doing it so that there are no surprises.

I have used many automotive repair companies over the years and I would always get the feeling they were not always being truthful with what the problem was to try to make more money. I did not get that impression here. They take the time to clearly explain the problem in terms that I could understand and justified why repairs were necessary. Ive lived in Chino for 24yrs and regret never coming to this shop!! I was referred here by my warranty company and wasnt sure what to expect, I called pretty early in the morning & Jay told me to bring my car in anytime that day and they would take a look at it and I had it back the next day! He even went as far as to call me to check up and make sure I was able to secure my rental car for my wife so she was able to make it to work while they worked on the car. I will definitely be coming back here, its definitely one of those places that once you come here there is no need to go looking for another shop.

Exorbitant Prices! First and Last Time Customer! Not Recommended! I went in for oil change, tailgate pop-in service, tire pressure sensors, one bulb, and possible water damage on a quarter panel. Within an hour of dropping it off, Lily called me quoting me ridiculous prices for brake and fuel injection flush services. I left them a message overnight to do no further work on my car. I was charged a ridiculous amount for the oil change, tailgate click-in, and one bulb which i know is nominal. They didnt diagnose the water issue, tire pressure sensors or the trucks hesitation. I sent Lily pictures of the dealers service prices which were well below the prices she quoted for fuel injection and transmission service. She called and said she couldnt see the pictures. She was not there when I picked up my vehicle. I am very disappointed with Gabriels. I showed the owner the dealer prices and told him his prices were outrageous. He told me those jobs are expensive. I honestly felt taken advantage of. They were slow that day. They were discussing a mechanic who didnt want to come to work that day. And the mechanic that worked on my truck had asked to go home early because they werent busy. They got busy ripping me off! I just moved to the area and thought I found an honest mechanic. I took an UBER back. TERRIBLE, BEWARE

They do amazing work. I dropped my car off, told them do what ever needs to be done, tune-up, oil change, check everything head to toe. I went to got pick my car up & they didn’t do any unnecessary work. Got out paying a lot less than I thought. I was overwhelmed that they didn’t do unnecessary work like most mechanics. I am new to Gabriels automotive when I was towed in off the road. I was greeted by friendly staff and even given a cold bottle of water on a hot day. I have a BMW and found the mechanics very knowledgeable. They got on my car quickly and I was back on the road with in hours. The BMW dealer would have taken days. The prices and cost were very reasonable and I will not be paying the BMW dealer again. I even went back and had my brakes repaired and I am still rolling. I can definitely recommend this shop and Mr. Gabriel to anyone who asks.

What initially brought me into Gabriel’s over a year ago was an ad in the local Pennysaver magazine. I went in a little skeptical due to past experiences at other mechanic shops but the guys here are nothing but honest. I need a water pump replaced in my car. I called and was quoted a price with tax and labor over the phone and when I got there and had the work done on my car I was charged exactly what I was quoted. I have been taking my cars back to them for service ever since. They are informative and let me know what i could wait on for my cars and what needed immediate attention. As a single parent I can appreciate that. What I appreciate most about Gabriel’s is the honesty and quality work. I highly recommend them!

I came in for the first time for a mini tune up for my car. I got greeted by multiple people when I first walked in the door. Service was great and prompt, it took about an hour which was expected. After my car had finished, it wasnt just a hand over the keys, your finished have a good day type of transaction, but they were able to walk me over to my car, look under the hood and explain to me the things that needed attention to and why. I definitely will be coming back again.

I gave them a call and before I knew it, my car was done and it was done at a reasonable price. These guys are very friendly and know what they are doing. I recently started taking my car to this shop. Everyone is very friendly and they were very informative. They did not overcharge me and I was pleased with the service for my car. While driving our second car, the dashboard began to blink. I had just enough time to pull off a very busy road, where the car promptly died. After calling and calling AAA for over an hour (Come to find out later, all of their computer systems were down.), I finally desperately called Gabriels. Not only did Gabirlels immediately come to tow my car, but they reminded me to find a shade, because the temperature was in the 90s!Over the years, we have found Gabriels to be gracious and honest, which are often difficult qualities to find, especially in the automotive repair industry.

Excellent service! So, I bought a truck from CarMax. I had some weird lights lighting up and a hard start problem. CarMax was booked up and couldnt get me in for about 10 days for some warranty work. They advised me I could take my truck to Gabriels in Chino. I checked out the reviews and saw that they had great reviews, especially since 99% of the mechanics out there have horrible reviews. I contacted Gabriels that day. Basically I had my truck dropped off the same day, they gave me a ride home and I picked my truck up the next day. The repair was done right the first time. Yes, I said repaired on the first trip and in one day. If youve had to get car repairs done, you know what I am saying. The place is very clean, they are friendly, and do good work. Not sure what else can be said here.

Gabriels Automotive has been helpful though a lot. They provided quick service to my vehicle. Problem with my car was the motor and transmission, but they were able to identify other issues with the car. About two weeks later I was able to drive away with a smile on my face. Thanks!!

I took my BMW 5 series into to Gabriel for brakes. The company suppling the brake parts gave Gabriel the wrong price for the part which cause Gabriel to quote me the repair cost based on the parts. When the parts were delivered, the service technician notice the part would fit my car. So, the parts had to be reorder but the cost was higher than the original parts. Gabriel paid the difference and honor his stated price to repair my brakes. This tells me a lot about Gabriel and the way he conduct his business. I am very happy with the work and the integrity. I highly recommend Gabriel Automotive and Tow.

I recently moved to the I.E. and ironically my car needed some maintenance at the same time. So I had no clue of what or who to trust, considering all the stigma you hear about mechanics trying to get over on (female) customers. Any-who I looked in the Pennysaver and some junk postal mail & thought what the hay & called a few. Gabriels automotive seemed to be the most legit and most reasonable. They were very professional, friendly and even extended their hours due to my hectic work hours I would only be able to make it in after hours. Once I met with them face to face and actually got time to bring my car in they made me feel at ease. The prices are very reasonable and I have since returned for extended work and they deliver quality professional work every time. Thanks so much guys for everything!

First off there is no spring attached so how can it be retracted been in the Automotive industry for over 20 years and this guy is telling me some bull story. Lied straight into my face! Didn’t even blink! I would NOT RECOMMEND this character. Untrustworthy don’t be fooled!
