I recently did a discovery flight (one of the most affordable discovery flights Ive seen) at AIA. I must say, their airplanes are top notch. I did one other discovery flight before in a Cessna 152, which cost me almost double what I paid here. The flight was awesome and their Diamond Star aircraft was SUPER fun. Most likely going to sign up for lessons in the near future.

Made the switch to AIA from another flight school that was milking me when it was time for my check ride. I had a two month pause in flying thanks to COVID. When I took my first flight in two months with a new flight instructor at AIA, my FI told me at the end of the flight it was time to schedule a check ride with a DPE! I did a few more flights with AIAs CFI just to go over everything and two weeks after switching to AIA I earned my Private Pilot! They could have easily taken me for a ride since I had some time off but I felt my CFI had my best interest in mind. I have now been happily flying out of AIA for over two months and building XC and PIC time.I have met most of the CFIs and everybody has lots of experience and specialties. Most of the CFIs here have 3x the experience of my last school. Lastly the rates here are phenomenal. I am now flying a DA40 with g1000 for a few dollars less per hour than most old 1970s era 172s other schools have. If you need to finish a rating in a 172 like me AIA has a nice one too! Scheduling is really nice too, as a student/renter you get a flight schedule pro account and easily check availability and schedule appointments.I really cant recommend AIA enough. I am not affiliated with them in any way, and no one asked me to write this review. I know my review might sound overly positive, but when you have had it bad you truly appreciate the good!

I recommend AIA for all those out there, not only because their prices are VERY ACCESSIBLE, also friendly staff and well maintained airplanes.I haven’t have any issues with my schedule, neither the planes. Recently I received an email where they clarified about the airplane’s log books, notifying us that all the airplanes have been checked by the FAA and everything checks just right. My instructor Erick is always on time, and very straight forward regarding what I need to do to improved my flying skills. I started flying with them about two months ago with no radio communications at all, and today was my first flight where I was able to handle the radio and fly at the same time, but my instructor has been very helpful.

I have been in aviation for many years and been apart of many different Flight institutions. However, this one has played a major role in my career path as a Commercial Pilot. Ive spent over a year working on one of my last major airmen certifications before I move forward to the airlines and the personnel here have been absolutely...TOP FLIGHT Despite the obstacles during this process, there dedication to this industry cant be understated. I truly appreciate what they have done for me individually...as well as others. They greatly deserve the recognition for what they have done in the field of Aviation.Photo of Alliance International Aviation - Chino, CA, United States. Capt. Hardy

There are many other great options out there. AIA Chino is a very inefficient place to learn to fly. The schools location on the airport makes it difficult to maximize flight time due to long taxis to the runway and a one way in/one way out taxiway that causes delays on the ramp. Fuel is provided by a company across the airport, which frequently increases delays. The old and derelict building is very cluttered and dirty, providing little room to receive a ground lesson. The DA-40 is a great training airplane and the employees are friendly, however the environment makes learning a challenge. Maybe try their smaller Riverside location or a different school altogether if you want to put your time to good use.

Honestly great flight school, makes you feel like home. Theyve accommodated me with fress flights. They take care of the issues immediately. They have in-house mechanics to take care of the issues. Id definitely want people to come by and check it out.

•The AIA owners have done a great job making this flight school a professional training environment w/ a family friendly feeling added to it.•The staff are always very helpful and extremely friendly.•AIA has numerous CFIs to choose from and I couldn’t be happier with my CFI, Dylan Sweet. I’ve spent the last 26 years working with military and law enforcement instructors. Dylan ranks right up there with the best of them with his professionalism, person-ability, knowledge, and ability to teach.•I started here in a Cessna, but quickly transitioned over to their large fleet of DA40s because they’re reasonably priced and have a full glass cockpit.•Their online scheduling is a snap to use and schedule is super flexible, and they never seem to be short on available aircraft.

They’re a really great flight school, I started flying with them at the Riverside location. My instructor was Richard very knowledgeable guy but kind of rushed me on a few things, the aircraft are in fair and definitely usable condition, especially for a school who’s been operating for a while now. The owner is a very nice and reasonable man. Definitely good motivator, I recently stopped flying with them since I changed schools over at John Wayne airport since it’s closer, but definitely recommend AIA. Only put 4 stars because of minor negativity from my instructor but yet again he may have a lot of other students so he might have just been burnt out.

The airplanes are decent, prices are decent, and they have multi and single engine. However, I scheduled a 3 hour block, arrived 15 minutes early, and my instructor was 30 minutes late. We then proceeded to waste most of our time walking around and I eventually got 0.7 hours in the actual airplane.I called the place and asked to switch instructors to have someone more efficient and the owner called me. He said hed call me back that day with anew instructor to schedule with.He never called me back.I then called him and he told me they were having an open house on Sunday. I explained I worked that day but got off at 5pm. He told me that was great, theyd be there until 9pm and I could meet the instructors and find a new CFI who could get me through all of my commercial, instrument, multi, CFI, CFII ratings.I drove 1 hour to the airport after working 8 hours on a Sunday and met the owner. He had no clue who I was and everyone had left.Im sure this place is fine if you dont mind having your time wasted. But I am looking to be a professional pilot and I need a place that respects my time more than this. So far I have spent 8 hours here with 0.7 actually being training.

Very professional yet relaxed envirement. We went there for some flight school info and were trested great. We were able to walk around and view the planes and ground school. We also talked with Avi and a few other instructors who were very nice and informative. So much so that my buddy signed up and Im next. Check them out.

First of all, AIA, the aviation school, does not know how to experience in aviation. Some aircraft did not meet up airworthiness requirements and still flying. Some aircraft even know that there is a fault and still let the customer continue to fly. This is very dangerous. This is obviously not an aviation school but a second-hand market.
