All around a great place! Everyone I speak to on the phone when I call in is very friendly and helpful! Dr. Petzel always takes great care of my German Shepherd, Anala, when we go in for a visit! He is very professional and always makes sure that all of my questions are answered before we leave. Couldnt imagine visiting a different Vet Clinic!

Being new to the area, I worried about finding someone to take care of my dog. Have been very pleased with their care, advice and ability to adapt to the changing demands during COVID.

What a GREAT group of Vets, and staff at Chillicothe Animal Clinic!!! They have ALWAYS taken care of my pets needs in a professional and caring/compassionate manner. They’ve also given me support when my pets were at the end of their lives. I have been affiliated with them since about 1992. I would highly recommend them for a pet’s needs!!!

I volunteer for Pike Pet Pals and have for several years now, Dr. Beth has done SO MUCH for us any time we need vet help! She and her staff are caring and loving to EVERY dog we have ever brought to her. I have also been taking my own personal pets here for the last 15 years or more, they are so amazing that now my grown kids bring all of their pets here!! I can’t say enough about what a kind, caring loving staff here!! Thank you CAC❤️

As You can clearly see I had a appointment Yesterday April 5th, and I was there at 11:30 . when I pulled up and called pushed 2 the girl told me my appointment was tomorrow the 6th, I could have made a mistake, so I left. and this am April 6th. I called and asked If they would take Any Responsibility for there mix up, maybe take a little off my bill, after all Im 45 minutes away, my morning is shot , waiting for my appointment time. And all they can say is well do you want me to do. Do they not have Managers at this office? I have been going here for a while, and a yearly exam, no less than 300.00 Per Dog. I have been a faithful following of this Veterinarian, never complained. they mess up and wont except responsibility.... time to start looking for a new vet.

I have taken my cats and dogs to Chillicothe Animal Clinic for years. They have taken excellent care of all my animals. I have to have a couple of my animals put down due to age and my 1 of my cats due to leukemia and I got the best care and very sympathetic when they gave us the news. Love this place and the workers.

I wouldnt take my pets anywhere else!! Dr. Picklesimer always delivers the best care to my 2 cats and 1 dog with compassion and love like they are her own. I have been in this office for years and the staff is always friendly, helpful, and patient. I would give them 10 stars if I could - highly recommend.

They are money hungry lowlifes who wouldnt see our 5 month old puppy because we didnt have 500 up front and it lead to the death of our dog at 7:20this morning8/21/21 how can you practice medicine for animals and knowing allow a puppy to die from parvovirus because we only had 300 and thats from selling my car!!!

Friendly, kind, take time to address all my needs, patient with my questions, give clear explanations. Excellent care of both myself and my puppy. Highly recommended.

I have taken my dog here for years since I have had him, the staff here is friendly and courteous. The CAC also has recently has made COVID appointments easy with well signed and posted directions to follow and a simple process upon arrival. I would highly recommend taking your pets here if you are questioning or looking for great care for your animals.

Wonderful Drs and staff! They go above and beyond to take care of my furry family, and the ease of scheduling is second to none!

Took a small stray dog in that had a ‘puncture’ wound in its side. Obviously there was a serious issue and the dog was just not moving much. They took the dog in to check it out and cleaned it all out and got all of the ‘extra critters’ out of the hole and it appeared to have been shot with a pellet gun. They were all so very professional and showed lots of compassion to the little dog - who by the way recovered fully. Hats off to Dr. Picklesimer and her staff that works so hard to help our fury friends.

The staff here are all great & make sure that your fur baby is their #1 priority! I would highly recommend taking your pet to this clinic for anything & everything!

I was on a traveling assignment with Adena Health in Chillicothe and we had to bring our Recently diagnosed poodle (Toby) in to see her, she answered all our questions and even found things our own vet back home did not find! She was a godsend to us during our time in Ohio she was amazing!. The staff was also very nice and helpful!

They did a great job with my dogs neuter, no problems after and it healed up quickly with no issues at all. Also trimmed toenails while he was there.

We moved to Chillicothe in 2000. We asked people we met which veterinarian we should take our pets to. The majority told us Chillicothe Animal Clinic! We have taken all our pets there ever since. Could not be more satisfied with the care and treatment they provide! Always very nice and accommodating! Very easy to get appointments! Highly recommend!

Yesterday dr. Picklesimer and her staff state after hours to perform emergency surgery on our cat hope. This was a life-saving surgery. Their dedication is amazing and their professionalism is unheard of in todays society. My family is heartfelt thanks to such a wonderful staff.

Just recently started going to this vet because they were so helpful in getting in one of our cats same day. Theyre very good at fitting you in if its urgent and theyre always so quick and efficient, not to mention friendly and always make sure all your questions are answered.

The doctors always take time to go over all my questions and concerns regarding my pet. Compassionate and caring staff.

I had to reschedule my dog’s spay due to a personal medical emergency. I found out the next day the office had refused to treat my mother’s cat’s broken leg due to my illness once they arrived at the office, although my illness has absolutely no ties to their situation and my mom tried to explain that to both the vet tech and the vet. They were rude, discriminatory, and ignorant of the situation, completely inappropriate. I am shocked that the office felt it was somehow appropriate to broadcast what little bits of my personal health information they had with other customers- in the human healthcare setting we have something called HIPAA, and while animals aren’t the same I would think I merited basic respect from staff. They sent my mother away with insults; thankfully another office (Dr. Tharp’s) worked her emergency in and was completely understanding and kind. We are switching all of our animals immediately, you cannot put a price on the genuine kindness and respect we received from Dr. Tharp instead.

Our last visit was during the Covid19 protocols. Everything was handled in a most professional and expedient manner. We we impressed by their care and all the steps they made to make sure no one was exposed, including the staff!! Thank you again Dr Petzel and everyone at Chillcothe Animal Clinic for a great visit ! Wonderful doctors. Very gentle with an older dog and thorough with exam. They were able to diagnose something another vet couldn’t. Highly recommended!

My dog has severe anxiety and will not let strangers touch him, so I was very nervous about taking him to any vet. Chillicothe Animal Clinic workers were so positive with him and didn’t allow his reaction to them stop them for helping him. I have visited twice and have been very pleased with their services.

I called them about our chihuahua mix who was coughing a lot. They had a cancellation and was able to see her right away. The staff all were nice, and remembered dogs that I used to have and asked about them too. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a permanent veterinarian or urgent appointments.

One of the things I really like about Chillicothe Animal Hospital is that I am not waiting long to see the vet. They are very good about staying on time with their appointments which I know is hard and really appreciate. I also really like the doctors and staff. I know my pets are very well taken care of here.

Been taking my dog Fuzz here, as she got sick recently. When she passed away at home, they were very helpful and they are not overly priced. They made it all as painless as possible. Which means a lot in these kinds situations. Will be taking out other dog here too soon. My mother has also been taking her cat here for years.they are wonderful with him. They are good people.

Outstanding vet practice. Been going to Jim Peters since he was in Kingston, Ohio. Still go there today. For years, it was with English Bulldogs and it takes a very special vet practice to work with them, Then Burmese, Ragdoll, a foundling cat, and , mini Schnauzers. I would trust them with my own care, if possible. Give them 5+ stars. I hope they outlast our pets.

Have an old German Shepherd that has trouble getting in and out of the truck. Went to clinic for a booster shot and the girls came out to the truck to give the shot instead of making the old girl struggle getting in and out of the truck. I appreciate that kind of care and I would say the dog does even more.

The staff and doctors at Chillicothe Animal Clinic are all amazing. As a pet owner, it was really important that I found a place that genuinely cared for my pet as much as I did, and I found that here with them. They have great compassion for all of their pet patients and I know my girl gets good quality care.

We took my son’s cat in because she’d been attacked by another cat. Turned out her wound was fine but she had some other bad problems. We had no idea the sad state her teeth and mouth was in. It was horrible. Dr. Petzel sceduled her back in and took care of those issues .. after a quick recovery and recent check up she’s doing great. THANK YOU!

What a place. A few weeks ago had to put down my 16yr old cat, Cali. Havent ever visited this clinic before, yet these people could not have been nicer. Last week (what appeared to be) a pit mix, a Yorkie and another dog somehow made their way into my back yard. The pit mix was attacking this poor stray kitten. Once again the girls at this clinic were amazing and helped me. I now have a great new cat and a fantastic place to take him. Thank you Chillicothe Animal Clinic!

Our regular vet is closed Mondays, and CAC fit us in first thing for an emergency. They were so kind.

I have been taking my pets to CAC for well over 15 years and could not imagine receiving the exceptional service that I get with CAC anywhere else. They killed my dog because he was a pit bull. They said I was fighting him. But it was from where he would leave my females alone and the would bit him. The scars were on his nose. I begged them not too and the vet had no simpathe. There all about money here I will never forgive them he was my best friend. Rip boss.

I have been taking my pets to Chillicothe Animal Clinic for many years now and I have only positive things to say about them. They do a great job at everything they do and I highly recommend them.

Beware! For the better part of a year misdiagnosed my cat, Chillicothe Animal Clinic did indeed . After many visits & poor information regarding the true sate of his health, they evaporated precious time that could have been used to save him @ Med Vets. Incompetence & the lack of due diligence is what i found in regards to my special needs cat. Its easy to take care of a healthy animal & say everything is ok & that will be 200 hundred bucks. They in fact got 300 bucks & did nothing for him that yielded any positive results in the 24 hour period prior to taking him to Med Vets. To add insult to injury they even misdiagnosed him one last time before i got the real story @ Med Vets. If you have a older cat please stay clear of this place as all they will do is take your money & say theyre sorry. Or at best at some point after its too late they will throw up theyre hands & tell you there is nothing they can do & then refer you to Med Vets. Well after its already too late & after they have already milked your for hundreds of dollars. In addition to my own experience which my six sense tells me these vets operate in a world of ineptitude, two Med Vets vets told me that Chillicothe Animal Clinic is indeed the minor leagues in regards to animal care. They killed my cat with their paltry skills & cluelessness. Oh & thanks for the sympathy card that pushed me over the edge to share my experience with your house of horrors!
