Enterprise was to pick me up at a designated time. I rented car for one day for an out-of-town appointment. Because my car was in the shop. A non-english speaking woman picked me up at my house 45 minutes late. They made me wait at their office for another 15 minutes we were supposed to do a walk around the car and record prior damage before I left. After 15 minutes I walk around the car do my own video zooming in on all the damage that was already done to this vehicle. No one ever came out of the office to fill out this report to record the damages that were already on this vehicle before I left. They left me with 45 minutes to get to an appointment that was going to take 1 &1/2 hours to drive to. The next morning when I return the vehicle of course they want to charge me for the damage that was already on the vehicle. Until I pulled out the video and showed them and started to complain. I was told to put gas in the vehicle and return It On full or they would charge my credit card. They charge my credit card anyways. Finally got a credit after three or four phone calls to the office. WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!!¡!!! Too late Chris. Nothing you can do about it. NOTHING will correct the already horrible service I received!

Service gal was very accommodating! Very good! We were just disappointed in how much the rental rate went up in just a couple months. Like $30.00 a day. Well probably think twice about renting a car for our trips. Used to be a value, now cheaper to use our own car.

If I could rate them 0 stars I would. I will say the people on the customer service number are friendly and professional but the individual locations are tying their hands on being able to do their job. Hopefully the comments I gave the cs manager find their way to the appropriate people and they do something to correct the problems the rental branches are causing by not properly updating their inventories and they stop them from trying to place the blame on others. If youre in southern Ohio try Norris. Yes they have rentals, Mary always gives you accurate info & their prices arent too bad.

We initially had a miscommunication on the rental but after talking to them they made it right. They were very friendly and understanding. I really appreciated them taking the time to make things work. After this experience I would recommend them in the future:)

A lot of hidden fees involved. SHOP AROUND. We ended up almost having a $600 (luckily we got the $200 deposit back but the $25 a day insurance was absolutely ridiculous) hold on the card when we reserved online it was only $200- something. So that was very frustrating on our end.The employees were extremely nice though, so thats why Im give 2 stars.

They gave me a specified time to meet me at a dealership. I relayed this time to my employer on my availability. They pushed time back without notifying me possibly costing me employment.

My car got hit, the other insurance had me use enterprise. Called 2 times and Ive been on hold each time for over 20 minutes? How am I supposed to get a vehicle if no one wants to answer the phone? Waste of my time.

I will be honest and say that this location is definitely lacking in professional people and staff. We had a vehicle reserved a standard suv. It was reserved weeks in advance. We were scheduled to pick it up at noon on a Friday. They called us and said our vehicle was not going to be available and we would have to select a different vehicle. We changed to a mini van and was told no problem they were going to have it ready to go. Upon arrival an hour later to pick up vehicle the van was not ready. We had to stand in the office waiting for over 20 minutes for the van to be ready. The young man who was getting our vehicle ready seem to be the only person who was really working at the time. The other two people in the office were laughing and giggling the entire time we were standing their waiting. We won’t be back. They have zero sense of hurray or customer service.

With the corona going on and all its frustrations, Enterprise had a pretty good set up, to get me and my kids into a safe car and roomy enough for our road trip we were taking. Kind and courteous. I had put more gas in then needed to return it, and I even was offered a credit for it off my bill.

I rented a vehicle from enterprise I booked it online. I picked it up in Chillicothe Ohio. I it rented for ten days. I only needed it for six days so I returned it early. When I did they refunded some of my money. When they told me what I was getting back didnt seem like enough. So I questioned it. After I talked with the guy he finally decided I was correct that they owed me for money. Which they finally did credit it back into my account.

I had a very pleasant experience today while obtaining a rental car after my car was destroyed by a deer. Austen is the associate that helped me and quite honestly I could have not asked for a more friendly yet professional associate. Thank you Austen! Enterprise is lucky to have Austen!

Roger the manager in Chillicothe Oh. is GREAT! Roger is always the consummate pro who goes above and beyond to work out the requests made on short notice in some cases. Most of the staff at CTH act in a very professional manner to accommodate the customer but, the individual named Justin who transferred in from???? lacks professionalism and a desire to serve the customer/client who ultimately will decide whether or not there is a paycheck with their name on it. I dont expect butt kissing, just that do your job.

Ok if they have cars available. We had an issue with a vehicle not being available but it was taken care of and we was in one later In the day. The girl that works there was very nice and knowledgeable, the guys, not so much some are too rude our liking. But it is what it is.

I rent cars for business travels all over the USA and the world. The Chillicothe, OH office is by far the most unorganized location I deal with. Its the ONLY car rental in this town, so I have to use them. Cars are almost always dirty, even after just washing them, gas is usually on empty. Its a shame, they could be a top notch facility with a little guidance.

I rented a vehicle from the Enterprise facility in Chillicothe, Ohio. I decided to upgrade and they were very accommodating. I had to cut my trip short because of a death in the family and again they were understanding and took care of us very well.

Twice I’ve called on a Saturday morning right when they open for a pick up and they can’t do it. So they are lying at this location. HEY MANAGEMENT!! STAFF YOUR LOCATION AND DO WHAT YOU SAY!!! “ENTERPRISE WE PICK YOU UP” EXCEPT ON SATURDAY AT THIS LOCATION...this is strictly a management problem not an employee problem. Person I spoke to on the phone was nice but he couldn’t leave per MANAGEMENT... anyone see the common problem here.. hope I made my point and more importantly hopefully someone at corporate might see this review.

Enterprise handled my rental with efficiency and with good Covid-19 precautions and safety.

The representative was very professional, summer and helpful. The process at the collision center was easy.

Dealing with the Chillicothe location was a very pleasant experience. Staff was courteous, respectful, and prompt in attending to the details of the rental. The rental car was excellent, in good running shape and the process went extremely well with no hassles or issues.

My father is 83 years old and rented a car for his grandson to drive to NY. My father didnt know anything about rental cars. He kept it a few extra days and they didnt take the insurance off the bill. No damage. I think these guys are out to take advantage of the elderly. Wouldnt recommend.

The staff here extremely efficient, professional and friendly. This is especially impressive given the large number of renters they had scheduled whilehaving very few cars due to corporate pulling many from their fleet and lack of returns.

I received a car that had been smoked in. I prefer not to drive in a car that reaks of smoke.

When I went in I said this was my first time renting a vehicle. I was trying to get information on possibly renting a vehicle. The only thing he was really concerned with was renting me a vehicle. I needed to know what did you need to have in order to rent a vehicle. He proceeded to tell me that I needed a insurance card for my automobile insurance, my drivers license and a debit card. Then he asked me when I wanted the car I told him I needed it for a week from a Tuesday to a Tuesday, possibly dropping it back off on Monday. He explained that there would be $150 deposit, that it would cost $536.27 so now Im up to $636.27. I spent over an hour outside the building on the phone trying to get my insurance information online having to call the insurance agency only to find out I had to go and print one off online from somewhere. I was in another town not even in my town. Then I went back in he proceeded to tell me that because my address on my drivers license did not match the address that I had given him that was a problem, he also proceeded to tell me that I needed to have a utility bill in my name such as gas, water, electric, cable, internet, phone and when I explained to him that I did not have one of those that I had my bank account papers with my name & address on it, government documents with my name and address on it, other businesses that had sent me mail with my name and address on it that wasnt good enough. Then he proceeded to tell me I needed to have a major credit card, I had already explained to him that I did not have a major credit card. I felt like I was lied to in the beginning, definitely got the runaround. I ended up leaving without being able to rent a vehicle and wasting probably over two-and-a-half 3 hours of my time. I definitely would not go back to this location again after that. All car rental agencies should be open & upfront and honest with you as soon as you walk in the door about everything that they require everything that they need how much its going to cost and they should give you a quote. They shouldnt try to rush you into renting the car youre there because you want a quote & you want to find out information. I drove 27 miles one way to the next town to this car rental agency only to have to drive 27 miles back to my hometown. I will not be recommending this car rental agency to anyone nor will I ever probably rent off of a Enterprise Rent-A-Car lot in my life this was a horrible experience especially for a first-time Rental customer.

Had to get a rental due to our vehicle needing servicing from an accident. The rental car is nice, however it was dirty inside when we got it. That to me seems unprofessional especially since we have 3 children so I cleaned the vehicle myself. The process to rent was simple and didnt take long at all. I think the inside of the vehicle being dirty is a rental car company issue because Ive rented from budget before and the same issue happened.

I was greeted with kindness and professionalism by Justin. I was given a much nicer car than I expected. I rented it for a week and needed it an extra day so I called them and they said no problem. I ended up having it 4 additional days and of course I called them daily, but I was extremely worried bc they had my credit card on file and I was ready to have to argue about the price but they were spot on and actually I got a free night. I took it back late the next morning...things happened, but they were so understanding and nice about it and gave me a ride home. I dealt with Justin and Roger and they were amazing. The entire staff was great. I would highly recommend Chillicothe Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I will definitely be going there again!

I had a rental car for 2 days it was beat up scratched and dented before I got it. I was told that the damage to the car wasnt there before I got it but everyone at work and home saw the scratches and dents. The person who did the damage report said I caused bumped scratches and dents yet the same thing was reported last time it was returned and was not fixed. Im now being told I am why there is dents and scratches all over the car. The manager didnt tell me there was any scratches or dents on the car at all. Extremely unprofessional !

Enterprise is a great place to rent a car. The employees there are super nice and they really do go out of there way to make sure you have a good experience.

I am traveling to North Carolina from Indiana. They were the closest enterprise to me. The car I am in has an engine light on, sputtering when accelerating and air conditioning is going out. They had cars on the lot but told me they couldnt take care of me. Told me to call another branch so I did. They told me they were sorry and couldnt take care of me. With all the conditions that is going on with the car you think they would care more. Very disappointed. Customer service is awful. I am worried while driving this car. I used to work for enterprise for 4 years and I havent had trouble getting help. I am on the road driving to North Carolina because they didnt give me an option to switch out. Apparently they dont care if you get stuck on the side of the road. They will just charge you their road side assistance. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.

I transport semi trucks for a living and all I do is one-way rentals. Theres a truck manufacturer in Chillicothe and this is the closest branch. I tried to drop off here and they refused the car or wanted another $400 for a drop fee. I had to go to Jackson to drop off and get a $100 cab ride back to Chillicothe. Until this branch changes their policy on one-way drops, I will not be accepting business in Chillicothe.

The fact that a car rental company would send out a vehicle that was not only dirty but had stained seats, is shocking. I reserved it weeks ago. The car should have been cleaned and the interior shampooed before I showed up to get the car.They discounted a day and offered to clean it but I was leaving right then and didnt want to sit on wet seats either. I will not be renting from them again and neither will my friends and family.Maybe, they should take more pride in their vehicles that they rent to people.

Rented car for following weekend. Overall it was a good experience, enjoyed the suv we had and was upfront about all charges. Only thing keeps me from giving five star is because car was not available when I wanted to pick it up had to wait till later that evening and still had to wait 30 minutes while they cleaned the car out.

Over all great experience the only reason Im giving 4 stars is that I had to wait an hour to get the car and was about to walk out because I was on a schedule and it would have made me late.

This place was in Chillicothe Ohio and it was way better than the one in Jackson Ohio I went to Chillicothe to rent my car and it is a 30 minute drive and I still went up there

We use Enterprise for all of our rentals, we actually live closer to the Jackson and athens store, but we always make the drive to Chillicothe, as the rates are slightly less and the people are friendlier. This was very obvious with our last trip, Christy was very friendly and helpful, she talks to you like she’s known you a while, even telling a story about her dog while processing our paperwork. With workers like this, it makes a nationwide company seem like a local mom and pop shop. I always recommend Enterprise, but highly recommend their Chillicothe store.

After numerous rentals at this location they declared they couldnt rent a vehicle using the same payment method used on numerous occasions. Several thousand dollars in rentals and a probable sale ended today.

Staff was fast, friendly! Free upgrade. I will be back! Thank you Enterprise for a great ride!

Parking sucks

Received a call a week after I returned the car that the car was damaged. Front bumper damage, rear damage and the real kicker....hail damage on the roof. Seriously we havent had hail for probably 2 years. And today received a letter asking me to turn the damage into my insurance company. There was no damage to this car !!!!!! The owner of the body shop where I returned the car even told Enterprise there wasnt. I would never consider using Enterprise again.

Requested car to be cleaned because it was very dirty. car came back from detail just as dirty. Took SUV home and cleaned it myself. Was told I would be given a certain dollar amount credit, was not given amount stated. Overall very disappointed.

Very rude counter people....booked my reservation only to tell me there was no vehicles when I got there and want not interested in resolving the matter...I do not recommend using this business for your car rental needs!!!

Friendly but didnt have the vehicle we had reserved a month ahead of time. Ended up having to use a minivan. The AC in the store was also out and we had to wait in the heat almost 40 minutes to pick up our reservation.
