OUTSTANDING!!!!! I was looking for some gardening supplies, having problems finding one of them. I ask customer service for help and they directed me towards somebody in gardening. This customer service person; a gentleman, goes a thousand percent out of his way, to try to find this product for me. Said they had six in stock, but didnt. When I say he went out of his way; I mean he scoured the shelves, several times looking for it, for me. Thanks Home Depot, for the GREAT efforts. YOU GUYS are AWESOME. FIVE THUMBS UP FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAY TO GO GUYS!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍

Im going to go out on a limb here... In the past its been hard to find some assistance whether it be to carry something, a price check or to find something. This time however, we were asked promptly if we needs help. The associate answered our questions in a knowledgeable manner, assisted the carrying, and showed us where the next item we needed was. I truly am grateful. It was a nice surprise.

I returned an item from another Home Depot location I did not have a receipt but had charged on a credit card. there was no problem retuning it. Then i went to the electrical department for some wires to be cut . The 2 ladies working there were very friendly and helpful . Later i went back to get a disconnect box . The young man helping me did not know exactly what i needed so he called the lady who previously helped me . She both educated the young man and me about the proper item . Then i went to the plumbing department and got some great help over there.

Organized well w/a good selection. Products are easy to find. Good experience each time Ive visited here and employees are very helpful and knowledgeable, even if what Im looking for isnt here they told me where I could go to find what it was Im looking for.

Nice and neat organization of all the construction supplies and shelves helpful associates plenty of registers with self checkout ... Tons of large carts for moving big heavy materials out of the store and into your truck even tie wire to tie it down... At no extra cost... This is one of my favorites stores to shop....!!!.. trust me I used to work for Lowes sorry Lowes you suck

The human race could probably build an entire colony on Planet Mars using only stuff from Home Depot. Sorry, Lowes, you can stay here on Earth because you dont carry Milwaukee Power Tools. The Home Depot stocks a wide variety of products in each of their home improvement departments. The staff seem to genuinely want to help you as well. Whether or not they are knowledgeable enough in their designated department is hit and miss... Hit: 20% Miss: 70%. The other ten theres just literally no one to be found.... ANYWHERE!!!. Sales are worthwhile and great return policy. Enjoy!

Don’t waste your time at this store, they are super rude and don’t care one bit about you. I asked a Home Depot employee “Mary” if she knew what aisle a certain item was in and she said “no” and just kept walking. “Cynthia” at the customer service desk is also very rude. I swear these people must hate their job. Even Bill the manager is not helpful. Worst Home Depot I’ve been to, go to the one in Oroville or Lowe’s. It’s obvious they have very bad management at the Chico location. When I’m at the Oroville location I always tell them how helpful they are and I appreciate it, I tell them stories about the Chico location and they always just laugh and say “yup we here that all the time” the last time they asked if I ever dealt with Mary because that is who most people complain about. At least I know it’s not just me that had a weird experience with her.

Got everything I needed to make the fiancé her potting table and got lots of plants. The succulent selection is great, tons of plants to choose from and if they don’t have a plant you’re look for just come back in a few days.

They had what I needed and the employees left me alone unless I asked them something which was cool. The people at the paint desk are awesome!I spent a decent amount of time reading lables and really trying to be smart about my product choices which was only possible because of the way home depot allows for a less intrusive customers service experience. They arent in your face trying to sell you the whole store.Sure you cant really rely on asking just any employee about the products they sell, because its hit and miss if they have any clue what youre even asking about, but thats really not a big deal since a quick google search clears any question up pretty easily.For a big box home improvement store I think they serve the function they intend to and meet reasonable expectations about 90% of the time. They had what I needed and I only had to make 1 stop instead of wasting my time shopping at several stores.Oh and you can easily use the Home Depot phone app to see what they have in stock before spend as much time as I did just walking around aimlessly. Unless you are into that sorta thing and could use a break from staring at a phone screen for a change·

Employees are clueless. Have no idea of the products they sell. The web page is ridiculous. Half the items I shopped for the website said was stock wasnt. A total waste of gas and time. Go elsewhere.

Store seems a little neglected. Stock is sitting in the aisles alot of the time. Some employees, not all some, come across less than enthusiastic about their jobs. I will still shop here I just think Home Depot could do better.

I usually go early in the morning. Its home depot, they usually have what I need at a decent price. Wish they kept the self checkout line open more, especially during rising covid numbers.

Everytime my husband and I go to home depot we only go if we know what we are getting because no matter what you will not be able to find anyone who can help.and 8 out of 10 times they are rude because you have questions. I do not recommend going to home depot EVER. I went into home depot looking to buy 3 new tool boxes 72 inch wood top and 2 42 inch wood tops and they didnt have exactly what we were looking for they had everything but so we asked for assistance and there wasnt one thing they could do for at all no ordering no nothing so we left and found what we need at harbor freight so thats where we spent all that money at Harbor Freight where they actually help you find what you want.

As much as I understand that the cost of wood has gone up, the quality has most certainly gone down. You shouldn’t have to go through 20 pieces to find 3 good ones

I could spend hours in this store and dream of what I could buy if I could ever afford it. I notice a lot of the younger employees standing around talking amongst one another. Once I asked one where an item was and was directed to the . Did not find the item and had to ask another employee where the item was which they directed me to the aisle the product was on. Garden area has a wide variety of plants, shrubs and flowers and all at a fairly reasonable price.

Great store overall but if I go in for 1 plumbing part all I have to do is look at the only empty spot because its always the one I need.

Could not find most of what I wanted/needed/expected to find.Erik (correctly spelled) was an awesome helper, even managing to fit my purchases into my car, which looked impossible.Other floor personnel, both make and female, should be admonished harshly for treating me like I am invisible while constantly offering to assist male customers. It was sexist to the max!

The P. A. IS ALWAYS SO LOUD! Hurts my ears. I cant imagine folks with hearing aids. Lumber prices have skyrocketed with the main cause being the Pandemic. Sawmills shut down, building materials were starting to become heavly impacted.

Door locks are less expensive here then at Lowes.

Three times I checked that they install commercial flooring. They said they did. When they came out and measured my small office they again said NO PROBLEM. I stressed I am on a timeline and they agreed to it. After them missing a deadline by a week I called back. Turns out they will not do it and will not refund the measurement fee. Now the office remodel is a month behind due their employees not understanding their own policies. If you need flooring done, do not go here.

Stay away from all home depots. They are playing brainwashing games through there store audio. Giving false information saabout covid-19. Dont shop here and listen to the nonsense

Home depo understands the importance of politics when gets dragged into it they.do there resourch before they make a decision. They.have service for home owners can send there maintenance man to pick up parts receives a call to pay buy card, account or what is best for you

This is the first online review I have ever posted. My daughter helped me so I could advise other Home Depot customers about their poor customer service. After 45 days of non delivery and poor communication for my in store orders. I called to cancel these back ordered items, I requested a receipt for the refund on my credit card. Customer Service told me that they could not provide me proof of the refund/credit. Then prompt hung up on me. What kind of customer service is this. I will never purchase one more item at Home Depot and I recommend others to do the same. All this customer dis service happened at the Chico, California store.

This happened to be a online experience. I really have to give two thumbs up to Home Depot for a outstanding job. One word comes to mind, Benchmark.

Went to purchase a Samsung washer dryer pair - sales person in appliances was condescending and officious and took 45 minutes to confirm pricing and then would not match price at Samsung.com and Best Buy. So left store and purchased on line for $200 less and free delivery and installation and no charge for the installation accessories which saved another $120. Was trying to support local business but not prepared to spend an extra $320 to do so especially when being patronized by the sales person.

I love my local hone depot! They always have what I need for any project, staff is always helpful, and the prices are great.

I drove from Redding to pick up an impact driver that they didnt have in stock I should have probably about 30 minutes after opening and checked into my online pickup I took him about another 30 minutes to bring it out to me I dont know if theyre confused or just werent ready Im guessing they werent ready they were apologetic. Was nice but I dont know why it would offer me to check in right away and let them know Im there when Im not going to get service for another 30 minutes or so

What can I say besides its a well stocked hardware store. They had everything that Ive needed to get an interior painting project completed. Paint check, brushes check, rollers check, all the other doohickies and doodads check.

For years Home Depot has advertised that they support veterans. And yet for years, in spite of proper paperwork, and now a California drivers license that says I’m a veteran, they still refuse to honor me and give me the discount they claim to give veterans. I have tried for years, every time I go in there for something I can’t find at Lowe’s, which is very very rare. Lowe’s has always given me and my family of veterans the discount that they advertise. Home Depot continues to take the credit for supporting their vets without actually doing it! If honesty and integrity are important to you, I recommend Lowe’s, or any other store for that matter.

They refuse to give Veterans the 10% discount like Lowes and Ace Hardware do . Wake up Home Depot, The Military is what keeps America safe, you can well afford to honor the Veterans with this additional discount for what we gave up to protect you. I do 99% of my shopping at Lowes, and Ace.

Its also very easy to find the things youre looking for and the staff are friendly and helpful with your shopping experience. And I always get a military discount, which makes a big difference at the register and my wallet.Covn-19 preventable measures are in place, masks up and check out the store. Enjoy

Heard from a co-worker to take my broken Stanley measuring tape in and exchange it. Well its true, very pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It almost seems silly to write a review for Home Depot. It has more than a plentiful amount of reviews already. You either like it or you dont. I like it. But I will say that Ive been most impressed with the cashiers during the pandemic. They remained upbeat and helpful. And they always seem to know right where everything is. Nothing worse than having a employee try to chase down something for you because they dont know where it is but thats never theyve been the case for me at Home Depot.

Its a well staffed Hone Depot that is a breeze in and out.

Because I know homedepot teaches people to run there departments they work in but these people dont remeber nothing or just want a check so lets go do nothing and stand and look like we are doing something but know nothing .

The first girl I talked to just kept saying she couldnt help me with what I needed. She just kept saying it over and over. Then finally she called someone up who knew what he was doing (Paul) and he went above and beyond for me. Hes actually taking the night to plan out the project I showed him with all the measurements I need. Hes going to have it all mapped out for me tomorrow. Super awesome guy!!

They have a variety of items for all of your household needs and restock pretty often in case they dont have enough of what you need. Plant selection is pretty good but they could use a bit more selection in decorative pots.
