This is a great place to find all kinds of things. I bought a truck mount cherry picker there, and cabinets, a few plumbing parts, a toilet one time. They used to have the place packed full but with everything shut down the last year it looks like the donations have also slowed down. So my first recommendation is you check here for house repair supplies first because the money goes a long way to help people with housing. Second I want to say if you have house supplies even used good stuff please donate to Habitat for Humanity youll be doing a great thing. I really like just looking through the stuff there you never know what youll find. I even saw a really nice stereo system there once. I should have bought it. Still bummed about that lol.

Nearly every time I have gone into the Habitat ReStore I have left buying something at an amazing deal. In addition to the building materials that others have commented on (like tubs, sinks, cabinets, windows, lumber, etc.) they get furniture pieces that have been donated, so you benefit from their excellent deals. I have gotten bookcases, mirrors, chairs, and little things like house numbers and other miscellany. They have desks and bedsteads and appliances, too. Its never the same store twice. It is fun just to meander through. It is also a favorite place to donate household items and leftover, useabe, building materials. It all goes to a great cause--helping those in our community.

I love this place like I love a large bin of Legos. It is an organized pile of possibilities, endlessly morphing as stock rapidly sells and more arrives. It does that thing for me that Lowes or Home Depot does, but with 2 major advantages: 1) the items are reused, so I benefit the planet by not requiring more manufacturing, and 2) the prices are significantly lower.Word has it there is an additional discount given to anyone who can bite their own neck while being rung up at the register. Go for it, dude!! And, please, take pictures of your efforts.. We all want to see your neck biting techniques!!

Love going here to look for interresting stuff. I have bought paint here and never had a problem with it. I am not picky about colors so I can always find something. Hugh selection of sinks and indoor doors. A good selection of Windows and a lot of hardware. They have lights, tile and a lot of replacement glass for lights. Always checking for cabinets as they come and go and they do get stoves, dishwashers and ovens. A great place to check first.

A thrift-store for the structure you live in. Or are renovating. Or building from scratch. I love wandering around this place looking for stuff. This is the only place I know of in Chico where you can find LOTS of used and useful fixtures, plates, bathtubs, windows, bolts, light bulbs, tile, pipes, etc, etc. at a non-gouging price.

Review №58

Whenever I have a need for home improvement items, I ALWAYS check the Re Store first. Ive saved BIG money on items that were almost new - in some cases nearly 90%!Granted, theres also a lot of items which are not in the greatest of shape, but I think youll be amazed at some of the really GOOD items youll find there too. Its definitely worth taking the time to stop by and see what they have before shelling out more than you have to at one of the big-name home improvement stores.Just keep in mind that nearly all items are USED, and all sales are final - so make sure youve selected the right size and color item, because all sales are final, with no warranty (unless one is express or implied), and there are no refunds or exchanges!PLUS, the proceeds go towards funding Habitat for Humanity, an excellent organization which provides people who would otherwise never have one the opportunity to help build - and OWN - their own homes. They offer people a hand UP, and not just a hand OUT.

I was honestly disappointed and a little saddened at seeing the condition of the restore this past week. The volunteers on duty were clearly not interested in making much of an effort to try and make a sale on behalf of Habitat for Humanity. The restore was void of customers and an absolutey disorganized mess, yet not one of them attempted to assist us or facilitate a sale. In my humble opinion, this non profit needs some new blood thats willing to exert a little energy in the name of fulfilling some basic goals.
