I recently took my sewing machine in to Cathy’s to get it serviced after a long period of disuse. I left it there and they called me when it was ready to be picked up. They were very kind and helpful and serviced it at a decent price. I will go there again!

I love this store and the people who work there. If you have an idea of something to make, they will help you make it happen. They keep my sewing machines in tip top shape. If I need a vacuum bag, they have what I need.

This quilt store is the best in the north state. The fabric selection is second to none. The clerks are very knowledgeable and helpful.Teri is a fantastic instructor. She has great cues and tips. Her knowledge base is never ending. I was a beginning quilter and she coached me through finishing an antique quilt that my great grandmother had started in the early thirties. I would have never completed this project without Teri’s expertise.I highly recommend Cathy’s Sew & Vac.

Dropped off my sewing machine and Mike was able to get to it right away! Amanda was prefect and had lots of patience with me while we tried my sewing machine out after the repairs.

We have had a really good experience at Kathys Sew and Vac. I was having tons of trouble with one of my sewing machines . They kept trying to solve the problem. And they did!!! Now it runs good and I now have my second machine in for repairs. This one is about 30 years old; so it is a real challenge to get the parts it needs. But they are such a good crew ; I know that they will get it fixed. Diffidently A FIVE STAR SHOP.

There arent many store around like this one! They have many wonderful classes to chose from and a huge display of material you cant find just anywhere. They employees are very helpful. I cant wait to get back in and see what is new.

I have shopped at Cathys for several years. I live more than 70 miles away from Cathys but most often think of them when thinking of fulfilling my sewing needs. Their selection of fabrics is truly outstanding and the people working there are friendly. A great combo.Cathys is more than a fabric/sewing machine/long arm/sewing classes (not just quilting type) store. They have vacuums and wood stoves. A great place to shop and share.

Everyone is really friendly and helpfully. I go there mostly for their quilting fabrics and classes. Great classes! Ive also bought my sewing machine and carpet shampoo there. Recently I took my broken vacuum cleaner there to be disposed but I was told it didnt need to go to the dump yet. It just needed new filters. A service fee and two new filters and it runs like new. They saved me a lot of money.

I will NOT be returning to Cathys Sew and Vac until COVID19 risks have subsided. I called ahead to ask what their mask and sanitation protocols were, and they provided a detailed and satisfactory answer. However, when I visited the store in person, I was very disappointed and felt unsafe. Though most employees were wearing masks, many did not have their noses OR mouths covered by the masks and one even went so far as to only have a 2x2 in. fabric square hung from her glasses in front of her mouth - NOT effective ways to contain germs. It was truly disappointing to see such a wonderful store being SO irresponsible and inconsiderate of people who are at-risk.

Cathy’s and Honey Bee Quilters is a fantastic store. Staff is friendly and helpful without being pushy. Great selection including knit fabrics for garment sewers. If you are looking for a new machine it’s a great place to shop, good selection and skilled sales people. Every time I go in they have a new selection.

I am absolutely in love with shopping at Honey Run! I live in the bay, so anytime I am in Chico this is where you will find me. They have a great variety of fabrics, including minky and it is all well organized. It feels like home :)

Cathys is my number 1 store to go to for my sewing needs. Their products are good quality and many of the employees know who I am now. Its nice to walk into a store and not feel like a stranger.

They had what seemed to me to be a large selection of vacuums, sewing machines and various cleaning products. All the ladies were very friendly and when they didnt have any more of the vacuum filters that I needed, they special ordered them for me. I will be coming here again once I need more bags and filters for my central vacuum.

What I love about this place is the excellent SERVICE and variety of QUALITY products they carry. Honey Run Quilters is a diamond to find. This is my go-to spot for any sewing or fabric related questions or supplies. I bought a wonderful Janome machine last year and got a lot of support and help as Im a rank beginner. I took a beginning quilting class from the fun and knowledgeable Terry Clery! I consider these folks the best in the local area. I also bought my vacuum from them 6 years ago!

I love this place! The fabric selection is huge, the notions are plentiful, and the staff is awesome! We are lucky to have this store in our area.

Im not at all into sewing or quilting,but they do seem to have a lot of sewing speciality stuff which was somewhat interesting. Lots of old sewing machines which mechanically are interesting. After exhausting everything I could see around the shop they also had a lounge area with a couch and magazines to wait at until my wife was done looking for material. They also have grills and smokers for sale too, as well as vacuums.

I have moved to Idaho and really miss Honey Run. I plan to be back for a week or two and take a class. All the instructors are great especially Terri.

Cathys Sew and Vac is the only place I take my sewing machine for service! Its fun to take it there for classes too. Having Honeyrun Quilters inside is such a bonus! They have a stunning batik section.

Spend way too much time here! They have sewing & quilting groups that meet here that are open to join anytime! In addition to several classes... I mostly am in a group when there or spending money on beautiful fabrics... I have also bought 2 sewing machines & a cabinet there & handy quilter... They service my machines promptly and do a great job on them. Yup I am a regular customer so thats why I spend too much time there... Enjoying every minute of my time with all the staff & my friends in the groups.

Cathys Sew and Vac is like a one stop shop. You can get everything from your green cleaning products, Bar B Ques and accessories, vacuums, mops, sewing machines, sergers, embroidery machines, long arm quilter, and of coarse fabric! They have thousands of bolts of fabric!!! The class room is roomy and they offer a variety of classes from quilting, serger and machine embroidery. The fact that they are now a Certified Kimberbell Shop is an added bonus. The staff is friendly and accomodating. I highly recommend this shop.

You must walk past Cathys, into the quilt store to left, although it is all the same shop. The people are friendly, remembered my name the second time I was there! But the best is - they have a huge selection of Kaffe Fasset fabrics, as well as other top quality quilt fabrics. And the classes are well done and reasonably priced. I am a fan and will be back often!

Sadly, Ive been in this store numerous times in the last year and never once have I even been greeted. Today, there were seven bodies in the store. I couldnt tell who was a customer and who was staff. I walked around the sewing machines, stopping and looking at each and every one and their data tag if there was one. No one came to ask me if I needed help. I walked around the complete fabric and thread departments. Again, no acknowledgement that I was even in the store. Sad for a relatively small town and a business that should be treating their customers very well. I was shopping for a machine and would have walked out with one if Id been treated decently, or even noticed. I will not be returning to this store.
