I went for the first time acouple of days ago..and i love the he did my nails..exactly like i wanted them.i will return and he will be my new NAIL TECH..

I had the gel deluxe pedi & my daughter got the gel pedi. We had a 5:00 appointment but did have to wait about 30 minutes or more to go back to the massage chair s to start soaking. Other than that, the place seemed clean. The pedis were great. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Went for pedis with the girls. They were flexible about adding an additional person for a manicure. Trying to communicate my allergy was a struggle. So I just opted for the basic pedicure. The gal that worked on me broke the skin on my heel scrubbing but otherwise did a great job. We were all happy with how our gel pedicures turned out. Of note, they prefer cash and only take cash or checks.

Mindy did a great job! Shes was gentle and made sure I was happy! This was my first time here but definitely coming back.

This shop has clean, well run and filled with nail technicians who enjoy their work, at least thats the feeling thats conveyed. Tommy does a fantastic job cleaning up my wild and abundant cuticles. I work with my hands and like to have my nails looking healthy and well groomed.

Ive been going here regularly to Mindy since beginning of the year. High quality manicure & pedicures - high quality products used. Everyone there is friendly, the shop is spotless, all the chairs work - its a pleasure to go there and just relax and enjoy being pampered. They have a customer for life !

I have a bit of mixed emotions with this nail and spa place. I would definitely call myself a dedicated bliss client and love to take my friends there when they are in town but I took my mother once and she was very disappointed with her pedicure. The man was awful at massaging and complained to her about how she clipped her toenails too short. My mother, quite humble in nature, told the man at the front she was disabointed and he gave her a discounted price instead, which I thought was very nice.On the other hand, every time I have gone it has been a pretty good experience. The people are kind and may speak little English but smile often and have good mannerism to make up for it. I am a perfectionist and do not like sloppy nails. I very much appreciate how detail oriented the manicurists are, they file out bubbles and I even had one women work on my acrylics for 25 minutes to make sure it was 100% the stiletto shape I wanted. Their pricing is also very good in comparison to other nail salons I have been to in town. I enjoy going very much and would recommend it over any other place in Chico.

I used to love this place but their best guy has left and it shows. Got a nail redone and its half the size of the others and clumpy as heck underneath. They dont always acknowledge your opinion but sometimes things come out nicely. Kind of a gamble.

I went and had my nails done yesterday. The guy that did my nails did a really good job and I’m happy with how they turned out. However I called at about 12-1 to make an appointment and the guy told me 2. Once I got there a little before two I had to wait 30 minutes to get in along with the five other people that came in with a 2 o’clock appointment. I just think they need to work on time management.

Ive been to many Solons from here to So Cal. Im pregnant & really needed some pampering!! The relaxation was remarkable and everyone was polite and kind. I cant wait to go back!! My boyfriend even went with me for his first pedicure & we just had a really good experience!

Nail tech was in too much of a hurry to make acrylic look blended into nail bed, smooth them,and put polish on to cover whole nail. She also cut them too short, AFTER I requested to only square them a little. They have better techs, just not this one and at least 1 other that is sadly lacking. I now have acrylic with gel overlay blobs that are shorter than I like.

I have been going here since this place opened. I have seen it grow and have been there through it all. I usually get great service even when they are busy. Keep in mind walking in and expecting to instantly be seen is ridiculous in a busy place like this! But I’ve yet to get bad service or nails! Sometimes people just expect to be waited on instantly and they have no patience. GREAT NAILS!!!

I generally like it here and have received great service. However today a scowling Tina rushed through the pedicure. Barely a scrub and I’m not certain she even put on 2 coats of polish. She dug very deeply when cleaning under my nails and I actually gasped out loud. Painful. My friend and I had manicures also and Tina left me for 20 minutes, returning and smelling of cigarettes. Yuck. I should have left right then. Not a blissful experience. Don’t let Tina do your nails.

Got a pedicure YESTERDAY at bliss in Chico, paid 30 for French tips plus a hefty tip. Though they didn’t scrub my feet that well, I was pretty satisfied with the shape of my French tips so I didn’t but complain. Waited until my nails were completely dry under the UV light and even double checked because they can fix it if you mess it up before you leave. I haven’t been wearing closed toed shoes and went to the water for maybe an hour today, got home to find that almost EVERY French tip is chipped. I got a pedicure at nail tech in oroville almost two months ago, worked in a garden daily, and it lasted almost until I got them redone yesterday. I’m extremely disappointed and will be giving them a call when they open, though I doubt they’ll do anything about it.

I got my nails done about two days ago and Ive never had them done prior. Two of my other friends came as well. I decided to get acrylics and even though I have never had them done before, I could immediately tell that it wasnt done well. The lady did not want to do anything I asked for and ended up doing something she wanted to do. And a lot of the polish didnt even go to my cuticles. It was just okay.

I took my daughter to get her nails done for the time. And they rushed through the whole relaxing experience and didnt make us feel relaxed at ALL!! I asked for the French tip gels for $5 more. And I said that it was fine. She didnt take all the nail polish off. So my nails dont look good at ALL!!! I am very unhappy with the job that they did on mine and my daughters nails!!! I will never go back there again!!!!!

Went in with a few girl friends, I was definitely not treated like a valuable customer, other people who arrived After me were helped first, I didnt get what I asked for, my friends nails were the wrong color and the lady doing them kept telling her oh theyre too long, are you sure you want them that long? You wont be able to do anything horrible experience. Not coming back

Ive just begun having pedicures and manicures. A friend recommended Bliss Nails and Spa and Ive been extremely happy with the service Ive received. I did try another location in desperation but quickly returned to Bliss Nails and Spa. I highly recommend it. May I always have the finances to indulge myself there.

They obviously overbook. Made an apt the first visit only to have to wait for 30 minutes before being taken to a chair. Waited there for 30 more mins with feet in cold water before someone came. I thought Id give them one more shot with an apt. 15 count them, 15 ladies in front of me. Chairs filled with feet in the water and no one avail. Sat in the waiting area only to here the owner say to someone everyone had apts. I called another salon who could get me in immediately and left after 30 min wait. No third chance here. Wont go back. All about the money and no customer service!

Ive tried this place a few times and it has been just OKAY. This last visit turned my decision to ever go here again around. I had an older guy who was NOT friendly and just acted irritated that he even had to do my pedicure. Not only did he cut my toenails so short that it was painful, he acted mad that his clippers were not working right. During the massage he pounded the bottoms of my feet hard and then pulled my toes to pop them. The was the most painful pedicure I have ever experienced. I always thought they were supposed to be relaxing. Before he even started painting my nails I decided I wanted red instead of the pink I had originally chosen. I was very nice about it but he wouldnt say anything just acted irritated. I will take my business elsewhere.

The girl who was doing my nails seemed interested in everything except what she was doing with my nails...which is impressive because she didnt do half bad for not looking at them. Paint was coming off only a couple days after the manicure. Not the best, but not the worst.

Last time I was here I had a terrible experience. I made an appointment for 1pm and arrived ten minutes prior to my appointment. I proceeded to have to wait half an hour before I was taken care of. Staff was unapologetic and rude. Will not be returning.

Disappointed with their customer service. Had a group for pedicures, two of us were running late but didn’t want to hold everything up so we just wanted the other two to start, they gave attitude and refused to begin with out everyone. So we had to cancel two so the others could actually start. Second time I got bad customer service regarding simple requests. 😔

Had a horrible experience! I asked for oval shaped acrylic and the lady doing my nails refused to make them oval because I wanted a french tip and french tip looks better with square. I told her that I preferred the oval shape and she said no watch this looks better and cut the tips so short that they dont even go past my finger tips! she even glued the tip on my thumb so crooked a quarter of my nail doesnt have a tip and its just acrylic against my skin, so i am sure it will chip in no time. Against my better judgement I got a pedi as well. It was rushed and she never asked me which one i wanted and after told me to sit under the light for the polish for 1 min. After the min was up I paid the $74 dollars!!! and went home. Looked down and half of the polish was missing from my big toe, so i guess the 1 min wasnt long enough! So unhappy with this place. If it would let me i would give them no stars!

Came in for a pedicure and let me tell ya honey, they scrubbed and buffed away all the rough spots on my feet. I walked out of there with baby smooth feet. My feet were moisturized and glistening and looking like they came out of a magazine. No like seriously Ive gotten pedis everywhere and this place was like top 3. I think the wonderful lady that worked on my feet was Karen. She put some elbow into it and took her time with everything. The massage, the wax, the scrub and the mask on my feet had my feet looking so flyyyyyy

They do really great nails and the salon is always so clean and nice but I always end up waiting at least 30 minutes every time I go in for a fill EVEN if I make an appointment. They do not schedule very well at all. So my advice, still make an appointment but be prepared to still wait at least a half hour or get sent to their secondary location and wait there a half hour.

My mom and I go every 2 weeks! We are faithful Bliss clients! Michelle and Tony are Awesome and their staff is great! The place is beautiful!

I made an appointment for 5 pm and at 6:15 I was still waiting. At least 5 people without appointments were sat down before me after they were asked what they were getting done. Im going to assume it was because they were spending more money. I will not give them my business again.

Bliss is the nicest studio I have been to in Chico and has the friendliest staff! Lisa and Y (pronounced Eee) are amazing! My boyfriend and I got the deluxe pedicures and regular manicures for only $45! And its so refreshing to be in a salon that doesnt have tv. Definitely coming back!! :)

Sometimes the service is great but sometimes the nail techs are rough and dont take suggestions you make about the way you want your nails to be. I like going to To. ( he is quiet patient and does an excellent job with shape.)

Id give this place a negative star if i could! First off there is a huge language barrier, customer service sucks, provide unsolicited opinion regarding your nail color or the length of your nails. All I ever get at any nail place is a pedicure because i need them. My nails grow inside so i get alot of ingrown nails in all 10 toes. So i like my nails short and round. Not long and square. That does not work for my toes! Trust me I know ive been getting pedicures since i was 14, I am now 33. I will not be back anytime soon....

I will never go back. My sister, my mom, and I went to go for a walk in. They said it was a twenty minute wait, so we told them what we wanted and they said we can come back then, and they would be ready for us. So we went to shop. We came right on time, and ended up having to wait another fifteen minutes, for people that came after us. Once we sat down, we were rushed, and my sister was still deciding and we were sat down and asked if we picked out colors, we said no. So, my mom had to pick our color. It was a very rushed pedicure. We could tell they were talking about my mothers feet, and laughing afterwards. When I had my manicure, the woman was murmuring to me very quietly to put my hand in the dryer once I had my nails painted. I did then she said no, no, no, under her breath. My sister was a usual customer, so her nails were amazing, as for my mothers and Is, not so much. Not even five minutes after we left, my toenails started to crack. My nails on my hands were fine as I got gel. Overall terrible experience. Very overpriced. Will not be going back.

Even though Ive made appts in advance for my visits, Ive always had to wait up to a half hour before being tended to, even though they assign you a station chair, which they usually end up changing you from at least once. Being that Ive traveled from Oroville, I dont appreciate having to spend an hour and a half to get my nails done in addition to the travel time.. WITH AN APPOINTMENT. Poor customer service.

This salon is overpriced and they will ask you if you want things on your nails and claim it doesnt cost extra and then charge you and arm and a leg at the front. Last time I wad there I paid 40 dollars for nails I didnt ask for after they spent 2 hours redoing them over and over again. They gave up, added glitter gel for free sense they couldnt get them right and then charged me well over what they said. Dont get gel polish eith a design here either they will burn the gel in the blue light. This salon doesnt make it right to their customers and for the price they should. I gave up on going here and I go to another salon instead. I dont recommend this salon!!! Its a waste of your time and money.

Such an amazing nail salon. Went in for a walk in pedicure and was seated in less than a minute. Got the upgraded pedicure and oh my gosh it was amazing. Came out lovinggg my toes. Definitely know what theyre doing and honestly wasnt expensive.
