I took my iPhone 7 into the Geek Squad in Chico because Apple was sending me to one because they said they used them so I chose the Chico one since I had been there 4 or 5 years earlier and it had been pretty good. I was told by Apple support that I would be just going in and exchanging my phone because of the warranty. When I got there I was told that the agent hadn’t put any notes in for them so he went into the back and talked to Apple support and came out told us that there was a crack on the screen and it needed the iOS 13.3 (very last) update and that it would be sent in and we would be without a phone. I kind of lost it for a few I admit, but I did apologize over and over for my behavior, that isn’t my normal behavior.The next day I got a call from a young man who told me that they were going to charge me $122 for the screen and fix the phone (the problem was a software one) it was free. I told him I would have to talk to my significant other and call back ( we had purchased a cheap trac phone for the time beings). The next day I called to let them k ow that I would come and pick it up as we decided to wait. I was then told that I had told him to send it in, and I told him I absolutely did NOT do that and wanted my phone back! He put me on hold for about 10 minutes and when he came back said he had managed to stop it and it would be available in a couple of days. I asked his name and he told me it, I have it written down (hopefully it IS his name) though not his last name. I’m not going to post it but keeping it.Then today was the kicker and also where I’M the IDIOT to trusting with everything that had happened. I showed up for my appointment and said what I was there for everything seemed fine he went into the back to get the phone, took a while but I didn’t think much of it as they may be busy back there. Came out with it I looked at it and said oh ya there was a crack! How my significant other hadn’t ever said anything about it. So he hands it to me I put it in my purse it shut off of course there is no SIM card in it anyway. He tells me how it’s just like you left it not fixed just sign here that that’s the way you wanted it. So I freaking signed and he hands me the other paper that’s mine. I walk out, thinking thank god that is over!So tonight I go and turn the phone on and it needs to be updated or restored to factory settings? Well if they hadn’t touched it why is the phone doing this. So now I’m with Apple trying to fix my phone that now just blinks the Apple logo on and off. With a cracked screen and here’s the kicker——I signed a paper that says that my phone was FIXED!!! So apparently I’ve been lied to, right to my face!!! I will be in touch with Apple, the BBB and anyone else I can get. I have picture of the phone the invoice and video of what it’s doing now! If I could or do figure out how to it will be on here!!Decided not to put service order on to much personal information. Oh and if any of my information gets out I’ll know where it came from.

We talked to Bryant about transferring data from old iPhones to new ones and he was super great and quick. Also really sweet and friendly! Made the hour we spent at Best Buy a good experience.

My husband purchased Geek Protection Plan when he got his new laptop at Best Buy. Im so glad he did! They were great about my multiple appointment changes and then when I managed to come in early they were happy to help me. It wasnt my husbands laptop, but my Iphone that needed help. Since the plan covers multiple devices I was able to get the help I needed from Sean. He was patient to answer all my questions and got my phone in good shape in minimal time.

TERRIBLE!! I sent my computer in to have the screen fixed, it came back with a smaller viewable screen and the keyboard keys are falling off!! They also sent my replacement charger to the wrong state and I had to buy another. Customer service is terrible, do yourself a favor and do not spend money here.

Used to be good service, but now just about nonexistent. I have a kitchen range in my rental property, burners wont ignite. Repair tech came out 11/20 to fix, said he had to order parts, would be back 11/28 at noon to fix. On 11/28, he called me at 11:20 a.m. (its a 40-minute drive to my rental property, so I was headed out the door at that point) to tell me that he had a family emergency and had to leave for two weeks...could the repair wait that long? No!!! So he said he would have his boss send someone to fix it. Today is December 10, still no word. I have called Geek Squad and been on the phone on hold repeatedly for about an hour. No one knows who they contracted to send out, dont know who to call, dont have any idea what to do to get the range fixed. Seriously??? If you buy an appliance, wherever you buy it, go through Sears for repair service. I have a very expensive kitchen range in my own home, and when the plan ran out thru Best Buy, I bought a service plan thru Sears and they have been great!

Doesnt deserve even one star. Been on the phone close to 3 hours and have been transferred at least 8 times. They say their going to charge me $650 based on a mistake they made. I cant even understand any of them. Ive talked to way too many people to have none of them know what to do. Never buying from them again. Ive learned my lesson.
