A little pricey but the customer service and overall experience was very good

Specialist determined that a leak was not coming from the transmission before any servicing was performed. They replaced fluid,filter and gasket at my request but only after the analysis was completed. Well worth the time and money. I will be back at next service schedule. Thanks Greg.

Hauled the truck from the house to the shop at no charge. Of course this was based on allowing the repairs. $600 to pull the transmission and diagnose. Overall took a week to haul the truck in, diagnose and do the repairs. Owner and staff was friendly. Supposed to bring it back in about a month and let them look it over. Week in and pleased so far. 3 weeks to go.

I have never been so satisfied with a company ever. Ricky is just all round amazing. Work is solid and very affordable ..He is very respectful.. very professional.. says what he means and means what he says. He is on point with quotes and time frames. I never thought I would have my Audi S4 back on the road ever again..and this place made what I thought was impossible happen. While passing through from New Mexico our Vehicle broke down. We went to two other local mechanics and no one could help us within less than 3 days. Diagnosis was a blown transmission. The last mechanic suggested elite transmissions. Ricky took great care of us with a great price, professionalism and had us back on the road in no time! For all of our future transmission needs we plan to drive all the way from Hobbs New Mexico ! It is worth it!

I recommend Ricky and Elite Transmission, and I will tell you why. It was November of 2020, my wife and I were five miles from home after having driven 400+ round trip miles and towing a 12,000# Fifth Wheel RV behind our 2003 Ford F-350 with a 5R110W transmission. This transmission had only approximately 10,000 miles on it since being rebuilt at Rick Garrisons shop out by Lake Lawtonka. I was losing power and the transmission wasnt shifting correctly. I even began to wonder if I was going to make it the last 1/2 mile to home! I called Garrisons phone number repeatedly and the phone was never answered. I had to get something done about this problem. I thought about taking it to another major player in the Chickasha Transmission business. But, my gut feeling was not to. Ive heard too many complaints lately. I did a bit of research on Elite Transmissions, and then gave them a call. The owner, Ricky Mitchell, answered the phone. I told him the symptoms exhibited. I told him it was recently rebuilt. And, I told him my concerns about taking my pickup to someone that might leave me screwed over the way Garrison had. Ricky Mitchell took the time to tell me about his background. Ricky and his wife moved to Chickasha years ago so they could be with his wifes Mother and family. Ricky has been working on transmissions his whole life! Rickys father owns a chain of five or more (I do not recall exactly) transmission shops in Colorado. Sooo, ....I took my F-350 to him and left it with him. I told him to use like it was his own daily driver and see if he could get the transmission to act up....since it was shifting okay on the way to Chickasha. Ricky did just that. But, it wasnt acting up. And, the codes he read were not indicative of the things I had outlined to him. We talked and decided hed need to tear it down. Besides, it had a leak that Garrisons garage should have fixed. ~ What was determined was that it needed to be REBUILT! Yes, Garrisons garage just slapped what looked like a junk yard transmission in and charged me for a rebuild. I saw it apart myself. I inspected it myself! Now, Ricky Mitchell gave me three options....a standard rebuild, a strong rebuild with stronger parts and better warranty, or an absolute rock solid rebuild that would make it almost impossible to tear up AND a fantastic warranty. Of course, this last option came with the highest price, but....this 6.0 diesel has a recent bullet proofed engine. I wanted the transmission to handle pulling that 12,000# RV with that bullet proofed engine over a mountain. Ricky got right on it and did the job in just a few short days. He asked me to bring it back in after 30 days so he could inspect it and run codes on it. I returned in December. Danny Black, who works with Ricky, and is one of the nicest fellows youd ever meet, inspected the transmission.....NO leaks. Danny ran codes on it. Perfect. Danny checked the fluid. Perfect. A few days later, my wife and I hooked up to the Fifth Wheel RV and headed to Texas on what is a 900 mile round trip. Oh My Goodness!!! My pickup with Rickys rebuilt badass transmission pulled, shifted, downshifted, engine braked, etc.....like a dream!! And, the diesel consumption was improved by 2.3 mile per gallon! So, do I recommend Elite Transmissions?? YES!! I would only go to Elite Transmissions. Great work. Great individual service! Great people! Great experience. 10 stars out of 10!

This is by far the best trans mechanic around here, my problems were diagnosed for free as I was told, pulled trans was shown what exactly was wrong and causing my issues and made some corrections to help the performance of the trans the shop before had done incorrectly. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy guy that is there to fix stuff the right way and distinguish trips back to the shop.

Questionable business tactics. Bait and switch. Never even began to diagnose my issues, just quoted me a labor fee. I wont be taking anything else to these people, and I will advise my friends and family the same.
