Its on 6th floor now. The service is great!
Their watch batteries barely last a year. You have to keep replacing them. I have at least 8 or 9 watches (I am a watch fanatic), and no matter what brand name, they do not last.
Service provided by the attendants is sub par, and the pricing is absolutely outrageous - $75 to replace a battery and an o-ring. Do not take your business here. Use any of the other watch repair locations in the city. Also note - they do not perform service work on wood watches.
Brought my Nixon watch for a bracelet adjusting lady was very nice and helped me out right away.
Went here twice and it was closed even though I called ahead to make sure they were open. The Macys jewelry staff didnt even know their hours and they are not posted anywhere.
The first time we visited I was told I needed to go buy a specialist strap elsewhere, but that that it could be fitted for $10. Came back two days later with my new strap and was then told my watch would need to be sent away for a week. Then the clerk decided it could be done on site but not for two days. Gave up and went to the store over the street who fixed it up for free and in five minutes! My whole impression was that the clerk just wanted us to go - this was reinforced by her just walking away after telling us she couldnt help.
