Hands down the best helicopter tour company in the city! From the moment you get started, you are greeted by super friendly employees who help personalize and cater the experience to you. We had to reschedule our flight once due to weather and they were extremely accommodating. The flight was incredible. A doors off helicopter flight has been on my bucket list for a long time now and I’m fortunate to be able to cross it off with one from Vertiport Chicago. The pilot went over safety with us and then asked for any places in the city we wanted to see and curated a route to incorporate those places we discussed. As for the actual ride, it was really smooth and allowed for incredible photos since we were free to shoot wherever we wanted as it was just us and the sky, nothing in between. I got some of the best photos of my life from the flight and will book another flight soon so I can see the city at a different time of day. That’s the other thing that’s worth mentioning, they let you choose when you’d like to fly! Overall, it was an amazing experience and one I will remember for the rest of my life, not only because of the photos I took, but also because of the hospitality of everyone at Vertiport. My flight was done with a friend and I highly recommend bringing someone along to share the experience. I’m certain you’ll continue talking about the flight long after!

I recently took a doors off flight with Vertiport and had an amazing time. The facility is easy to find and free on site parking is available. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The flight route can be customized and this is a key aspect with Vertiport. Since it was near sunset, we hit some spots where the views were spectacular. The pilot, Mike, was extremely friendly and a pro. He was able to put me in a position to capture some wonderful photos. I highly recommend Vertiport if you want to capture unique views of Chicago.

The experience at Vertigo Chicago was amazing. From the moment we walked in we received excellent service. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The lounge was clean, inviting and very relaxing. I brought my significant other here as a surprise for their birthday. They enjoyed the “Chicago Pilot Experience” tour. He loved every minute of it. He said the views were incredible and felt so elated after flying the helicopter. The pilot was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and very encouraging. For an extra fee, they do offer to install a go pro in the helicopter to record your flying experience. I’m glad we paid for that service. It’s a nice souvenir to take home and enjoy watching later. I really enjoyed coming here. Booking with them was very easy. They are accommodating and will work with you to reschedule if the weather becomes an issue. Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back.

We got a private helicopter ride for 4 for my husband’s birthday. Jake, our pilot was thorough and humorous. The ride was very competitively priced compared to other tours out there. The views were terrific. The flight was smooth as was the landing and the take off. I wanted to be able to see our house in river north and Jake was happy to go a little out of his way to make that happen. Truly a serene experience.

Hands down, THE BEST helicopter flight experience in Chicago. Ive been on two different tours with two different companies and Vertiports flight pattern is my favorite because they take you into the city. You get to be up close and personal with some of Chicagos most famous buildings (Sears, Hancock, and Trump Tower)! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

First time on this tour and it was AWESOME! I had scheduled a date for Friday but we were unable to due to the weather. I communicated that it was a special day for me and my girlfriend and Eric who helped coordinate with me promised to make it up to me with a bottle of champagne. I rescheduled for the next day when the weather was way nicer and Jake, our pilot was super friendly and gave us the bottle that was promised to us at the end of the flight. Great tour and AMAZING customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Incredible service and amazing flight! Taking a helicopter flight had been on my bucket list for quite some time and Im very glad I chose Vertiport. The staff is always very polite and the ride is incredible. This weekend, with the help of the Vertiport staff, I got the proposal that I thought was only possible in movies. Danny and my fiancé organized the most amazing day of my life. We rode the helicopter right up to the John Hancock building where we saw a sign saying “MARRY ME?” through the windows. Danny was amazing with helping my fiancé coordinate with people from the Hancock building and the Vertiport staff. From the pilot to the photographer, everyone was so incredible and I cannot boast about them enough! THANK YOU VERTIPORT! ♥️💍

Vertiport Chicago is hands down the best helicopter tour in the city. Aylah, Mike, and the team were friendly and professional for the entirety of our experience. They made us feel comfortable and safe during our doors off flight over Chicago. We took up 3 photographers and some of the shots we got will go down as my favorite Ive ever taken. Vertiport Chicago has been nothing but family to me these last 4 months. After reaching out back in February to discuss a project and partnership with them as a photographer they’ve been fantastic! Getting to host a giveaway with them while they dyed the river green has been one of the greatest honors I’ve had as a photographer. If your looking for a wonderful experience I highly recommend the doors off flight. Nothing like flying over the top Chicago with no doors on the helicopter and the wind blowing in your face! An AMAZING experience! If you are a first time flyer, or want to do some of the best sightseeing in Chicago, Fly Vertiport. They take you through the city to see all of Chicagos landmarks. It is breathtaking! They also do doors off on the tour for an additional $50. You can not get that anywhere else.

I requested an A-Star (Cadillac of helicopters) and they instantly accomated me. Not only was it the coolest looking A-Star I’ve ever seen, the Pilot “Micheal” was the very Best of the Best (on all levels). He knew it was the first flight on anything for my Grandchildren and they were scared. His off the chart flying ability and demeanor put them instantly at ease. Even with the wind off the lake the ride was smooth as glass. The entire experience from start to finish was absolutely pure class. I can’t stress enough what a great company they are. And if have the means, you’ve got to request “Micheal” and his new custom A-Star (interior and all is pure highend class). Definitely try if you can, it’ll be worth it. And don’t be frightened, “Michael” or one of their other Top Pilots will put you at ease instantly, allowing you to enjoy the sites from a vantage point you’ll never experience again!Just do it, guaranteed you’ll love it and this is from someone who’s flown just about everywhere in a helicopter. Lastly, for what all you’re getting you can’t beat the price. Remember, price isn’t everything when your life depends on the aircraft being maintained to the highest degree along with such outstanding experienced Pilots 👍

On August 5th, I visited Vertiport Chicago, to inquire about taking a helicopter tour and was pleasantly surprised with the offer for a short tour, for the low price of $55, plus tax. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even answering questions I had about operating a charter service from their location. The entire experience was positive and I highly recommend Vertiport, for any and all FBO needs!

Scheduled my tour from Navy Pier; the receptionist Daniel was amazing! Had an amazing time telling him my experience of Chicago. As for the tour, it was really cool, first time flying on a helicopter FRONT Seat next to Ryan. Couldnt have really grasp how the colossal size of the buildings were til I took that tour. Told Ryan I felt like Will Ferrell in the Lego Movie, it all look to me like legos. It was really a breathtaking moment, I really recommend this tour for any first timers.

3 months ago I booked a private helicopter tour. I was double charged for this tour but the company refunded me after I spoke to the manger about the mix up. Today I drove 5 hours for my private helicopter tour and I was informed that they had the wrong date in the computer system. No one at the location could help me with this issue because the boss wasn’t present. Not only did I drive 5 hours but the surprise helicopter tour for my husband didn’t happened. I am so disappointed in this company. I would give them a 0 if I could.
