Great customer service. The front desk, technician, and dentist are all kind and helpful. Never have to wait - can get in and out. Added bonus, you can add drops of essential oils to your bib for a calming effect and it’s a massage chair. I’ve referred dental smiles of west loop to all of my colleagues.

I wanted to switch to a dental office that was closer to home than my previous. My husband recommended Dr. Shah and her team, and I could not be more impressed. I had my first routine cleaning today, and to my surprise they had me sit in a massage chair while my teeth were cleaned! They even offered essential oils to help me relax. Their team goes above and beyond to help ease your stress or anxiety about going to the dentist! Everyone was super friendly, and Dr. Shah took the time to answer my questions and concerns. She was also very gentle with my cleaning. Im extremely happy that I switched to Dental Smiles of West Loop!

Great experience as a new patient! As someone who has managed dental offices for a decade, I found myself in a position to search for a dentist on my own after a job change to the technology side of the dental industry. I was nervous to visit a new office, partly because I’m so familiar with how offices run and didn’t want to have a bad experience. Dr. Shah was so kind, she did my cleaning and made me feel comfortable despite some sensitivity I have and was thorough in explaining what she saw in my mouth. I’m so glad to have found a great dentist so close to my house and on the first attempt nonetheless! I definitely recommend visiting the office and can say with confidence, you’ll be well taken care of!

Ive attended this dental practice for a couple of years now, and I recommend it to anyone I know who is in need of a new dentist. Dr. Shah and her staff are friendly, competent, and very mindful of being gentle and reducing unnecessary anxiety. Dr. Shah is an exceptional communicator and I say that as someone who has worked in health care. I recommended her to a family member who was dealing with some dental anxiety, and he found her demeanor so reassuring he switched immediately.

This dentist office is literally the best dentist experience Ive ever had. They care, they are consistent and professional from the front desk to the assistants to the dentist. The aromatherapy is so helpful for those of us that have anxiety and hate the dentist office. Dr. Ankita Shah is the sweetest, most gentle, and patient dentist Ive ever had. I was actually referred to this dentist from reading a review of another dental office. I wish they had payment plans for procedures, but other than that I have been happy with their service and expertise. 20 stars if I could!

This first and foremost is based off my experience. I wanted to give 2 and a half stars. Let me say clearness, staff, was ok. There is only 2 parking spaces in the back for the dentist office so good luck with parking. My issue is with the dentist who saw me. I didnt really vibe well with her, she wasnt straight out rude just annoyed me with her comments. Her incomprehensive remarks made me a bit uncomfortable. Example she explained what was going on with my teeth and maybe my facial expression came off a certain way so, she kept saying dont shoot the messenger, 1st time I kinda laughed it off by the 3rd or 4th time I had to explain I know shes just explaining things Im not taking it personal only a crazy person would go off because theyre told a tooth is broken. She asked why a doctor didnt cap a tooth? my reply was I have no idea, her reply I dont either... I said maybe because of the insurance I had at the time I think I said something like thats interesting I wonder why he didnt do that at this point Im just talking out loud and her comment again I dont no. At this point I was definitely annoyed with her. I got my teeth cleaned and she was scrapping my gums so I was clinching she made a comment about that and that I really love the suction, well excuse me I have blood in my mouth I need to rinse out! I guess me asking for it meant I loved it. I just felt like I had to explain everything I said or did. The cleaning was basic. Most work I need done they dont do even when it comes to pulling my tooth which I rather go to a dentist office that handles most basic things. Overall for the price and experience Im sure there are better dentist office. Again my experience what annoyed me may not bother you.

I love going here. Christine at the front desk is the absolute best and kindest person! I have a real phobia of dentists from bad experiences and a predisposition to metabolize novocaine quickly, but they are super patient with me here and always take care to make sure Im comfortable. The massage chairs and essential oil therapy is definitely an added perk to the kindness of the staff.

Warm inviting office, a breeze to get to from my job in the loop. Im never kept waiting too long in reception and the dentist chairs are clean and comfortable. Dr.Shah is friendly and ensures you are comfortable from the start to the end of your appointment. Itll be a sad day if I ever move and have to find a new dentist!

My experience at Dental Smiles of West Loop was less than ideal, despite the friendly staff and excellent communication from the doctor.My appointment began 20 minutes behind schedule, which is understandable albeit a little stressful when taking time out of the work day. Once the appointment began I found the teams communication to be great, explaining the steps they were taking and why.The major reason for the 3/5 experience was just that the routine cleaning I had felt pretty rushed and I left with my teeth feeling less clean than when Ive gone to other dentists. Im used to more thorough cleanings and left feeling the difference. Overall nice staff and a clean facility, but likely not the best fit for me!

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Christine made me feel welcome, and Sandy was very warm throughout the entire visit. Nice place, but I was rushed, and in the middle of my appointment the dentist told me that i would i have to come back to do a cleaning for my teeth, which was the purpose of why I booked the appointment in the first place, because she had to take care of her children. I visited Dr Shah for my 3 year old daughters very first dental check up. My daughter was extremely nervous before going. But to my relief, Dr Shahs office was a breath of fresh air and offered the kind of comfort a mom looks for while visiting a dentist.  From the first step in, the staff made us feel right at home. Everything was on time, nothing felt rushed and the office was professionally run. They followed strict Covid protocols to ensure our safety. The front desk was helpful in guiding us through the full process.Dr Ankita Shah was patient and gentle with my daughter. She helped my daughter feel safe on the chair. The appointment lasted well over our designated time, but Dr Shah made sure she did a thorough job. Throughout the entire visit, I felt my daughter was in good hands.  My daughter had stains on her teeth caused by chromogenic bacteria that needed to be removed.  Dr Shah explained what was going on every step of the procedure and answered my questions at length, making sure my daughter was at ease at all times.We left with such a positive experience that my daughter still remembers Dr Ankita Shah as the nice doctor who cleaned her teeth and made them pearly white. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone and will definitely be visiting again.

She recommended a long term treatment plan that would help prevent any future issues with multiple recommendations. I 100% recommend Dr. Shah and the DentalSmiles office, especially if, like me, you are wary of dentists. After receiving terrible dental care as a teen, I neglected my oral health for decades. I dont even have the excuse of not having had dental insurance. It was pure phobia. I was forced to deal with things when a filling broke and became abscessed. I was terrified of having to go to the dentist, but I was in pain.Dr. Shah, however, is so competent, so good at her job, and such a calming presence that the visits to rectify the damage I allowed to happen have been easy. Im not going to say I look forward to them, but I know I will be treated with respect, my fears will be managed, and that every effort will be made to cause me the least amount of discomfort possible. (And except for the anesthetic shots—I also have a fear of needles *sigh*—there really hasnt been any pain. I had some mild discomfort after a filling when the anesthesia wore off, but it was gone in a few hours.)So in summary, if you want a kind and caring dentist who does an awesome job, call Dr. Shah. And see her twice a year for prophylactic dental care.

Dr. Patel and her staff are awesome! I really appreciate how cognizant the staff is of their patients schedule/time. If a patient schedules an appointment for 2pm, the doctor actually sees you at 2pm. The staff took extra time to sort out a discrepancy with my insurance company after my employer switched providers. Dr. Patel is a true professional. She takes time to explain her patients treatment, she is sensitive to any discomfort a patient may be experiencing and seems to genuinely care about patients. After a bad experience with a dentist located in downtown Chicago, I hadnt seen a dentist in four years. About a year ago, I lost a crown and visited Dental Smiles. Dr. Patel saw me immediately. I was so impressed by the service that I returned several times to have two cavities filled, a teeth cleaning and a check-up. I highly recommend Dental Smiles to everyone.

I finally started my Invisalign treatment. I’m certain that taking care of this now will result in better overall health down the road. I take my dental health seriously, so when I asked what else I could do about it, Dr. Sha thoroughly explained the medical benefits of having your teeth aligned the way our body designed them to be. There was little talk about the cosmetic aspect of it; despite of it being a gigantic plus.Besides the tons of info I got from Dr. Shah and the team, they also advised to do more research online as there are a number of ways you can approach the process and make it more personalized to suit your needs. I’m on tray 3 and very excited to see the end result!Thanks again everyone, just keep raising the bar.

The office is immaculate. Everything is explained and all options discussed. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Dr. Shah is the best dentist I’ve ever had. My wife and I have been seeing her for our dental needs over the past few years, and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr Shah has made an experience that I have dreaded for most of my life, a pleasant one! That is not something I say lightly. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by Christine who is always wearing a smile and is genuinely invested in making the most of your time at the office. You are then brought to your room where you are offered various aromatherapies that can be applied to your dental bib to help create a relaxing experience. It does not end there - you are then asked if you would like to use the massage feature on your chair which only further makes for an utmost relaxing atmosphere.Most importantly, Dr Shah is not only a wonderful clinician but she is patient, thoughtful, careful and someone I now trust with all of my dental needs moving forward. I only wish I knew of her sooner.

I have been going to this practice since it opened and could not recommend it enough. Ive tried several dentists in the city, and the West Loop specifically, and have not had a better experience than here. The space is clean and accommodating (tv, massage chair, etc.), and all of the staff courteous. They are very respectful of their patients time as Ive never had to wait. And most importantly, Dr. Shah is kind and professional, takes time to explain what shes doing, and offers her honest opinion without up-selling, etc. The only dentist office to which I havent disliked going.

Dr Shah is a great dentist. She even goes over my x-rays with me to show me how my teeth are doing. I highly recommend her.

I am not from this area and was quite nervous about seeing someone on a “one time” basis due to some complications. I could not have been more impressed! Extremely professional, thorough, and explains everything in great detail. I highly recommend Dr Shah and her team.

Great dental experience here! They go the extra mile. The chairs have a light massage option, the napkins are sprayed with aromatherapy, and there are TVs at each chair with Netflix (and other options). Dr. Shah is very professional and timely.
