On 11/14/14, I rode in your taxi from OHare to the Four Seasons Hotel. I paid the driver, and when I got inside the hotel, I realized I had left my purse in the cab. He was already gone, and the hotel attempted to look up the cabs license number on their video camera, but all they could make out was the cab company. I believe they called you.At around 9:30, as I was cancelling my credit cards, there was a call from the door man that a cab driver was downstairs and he said he had my passport (which was in my purse). I went down, and he had the purse, and everything was in it. He said he had come by earlier, and I was able to verify this when I retrieved a voice message on my hotel phone that said that at 6:50, he had come by, but he wouldnt leave the purse with the doorman.Your drivers name is Solomon. His cab number is 3944 and he gave me another number, 98964, if I heard him correctly. I called his cell phone to get the information, as I wanted you to know how great it is to know that there are honest people like Solomon. Please let him know what this meant to me. Ive told lots of people about this. You have a wonderful employee, and he should be recognized.Thanks.

I was almost killed by a reckless Choice Cab driver, # 6202. He came flying off an expressway exit, across two lanes, into my lane, cutting me off and then slowing down. I was in the far left lane and was going the speed limit of 40. I had to slam on my brakes and swerve to avoid being killed. Then he flipped me off when I laid on the horn and got back into my original lane, in front of him. Tried to call the company to complain, someone hung up. Tried a different number, went to voicemail, which was full. Tried to report it on their website, it wouldnt submit. Then the first number I called tried to text and call me back, saying they only have two cabs in their fleet. BS. Liars who put people in danger. And this happened in a construction zone.

The company itself deserves 0 stars. The driver was nice enough to bring the overall experience up to deserving 1 star. Customer service on the phone is about as rude an unhelpful as you can get. If the IRS is paying any attention to my google review, I recommend auditing the company. I called for information about a past ride and they refused - likely because they keep poor records. Id bet a buttered hog theyre filing fraudulent tax returns. When in doubt, just use Uber.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS CAB COMPANY. i left my iPhone in the cab and they were no help at all. im pretty sure they didnt even check the cab like i asked them to do. the people who answered the phone were nothing less than rude and ignorant and complete incompetent human beings who dont know how to do their jobs properly. i had to call back 8 times before they even did anything and i still dont believe they even checked the cab. save yourself the trouble and NEVER USE THIS SERVICE.

This review is for Merdad alone. I would give him 20 stars if possible. I left my phone in this kind mans cab, and he came to my apartment in bad weather to drop it off. He far exceeded his expectations, and needs to be commended for his work! Thank you!!!

Im usually not one for vindictive posts or reviews, but when you play stupid games you win stupid prizes. So at approximately 12:40pm on 9/20/17 I was returning to my office with my lunch I just purchased; I was waiting at the intersection of State and Monroe for the light to change. As I started crossing Monroe on the east side of State a Yellow Cab just made it through the yellow light and was pulling into the Taxi line for the Palmer House Hotel. It was at that time Choice Tax #3104 accelerated through the intersection, quickly veering around the Yellow Cab slowing down, while nearly hitting me in the process. His taxi was close enough to me that I literally hit the top of his trunk with a closed fist and yelled watch where youre Fn driving.Ok, heres where it gets good. I continued through the intersection and was awaiting the light for State street to change when I noticed that Choice Taxi #3104 was now parked in the middle of Monroe Street and the driver was rushing towards me. This lovely gentleman who apparently makes a living dealing with the public, and who I might add is at least double my size and build, was now directly in my face (literally less than an inch away) screaming at me for touching his cab. He demanded to know why I did so, and when I told him it was because he nearly ran me over his was response was simply but I didnt. At this point the whole confrontation escalated with some very colorful language and screaming on both of our parts, mind you I was holding my ground the entire time and not backing down from this lovely gentleman that was still less than an inch from my face while towering over me. Apparently this aggravated him further as he then proceeded to physically assault me by knocking my phone and my lunch out of my hands (keep in mind that this is happening in front of a hotel taxi stand over the lunch hour in the middle of the Loop). By this time there was a nice crowd gathering and watching this transpire and at this point he then proceeded with stomping on my lunch like a small child having a temper tantrum. The taxi industry is the perfect example of an archaic industry refusing to change or adapt to modern needs and technology while better serving the public. Hence why they are fighting Uber and Lyft tooth and nail to have them banned from major cities and airports. This whole experience only solidified this image of them, not for me as I gave up on taxis long ago in favor of cleaner, nicer and more reasonably priced Ubers and Lyfts, but for the 50+ people that witnessed this transpire in the middle of the afternoon in Chicagos business district. The fact that this lovely gentleman decided to have a melt down directly in front of a major hotels taxi line in plain sight of the hotel guests and employees was priceless in my opinion. He is sealing his own fate, as well as others who are probably much nicer and professional, by reinforcing the already tainted reputation this archaic industry has. He gave every potential customer waiting in that taxi line a taste of the rude and abrasive service that has come to been associated with the taxi industry. Not to mention a great excuse to order an Uber or Lyft for a more reasonable cost in a much cleaner and friendlier environment.

Alfateh Dahyea, Choice cab# 1645 showed an excellent behavior by returning my book bag to my apartment. I forgot my book bag in his cab. Since I picked him in front of the air port, and did not pay attention to company name on the taxi, I did not know who to call to ask for my bag. I was hopeless and I went to OHare just to try. My friend called me and said that the driver, Alfateh, returned my back to my apartment. He found my address on one of the documents I had in my bag. He even refused to take money for his exceptional service. I cannot thank him enough. Such a great personality. It is ironic that he is from Sudan and unfortunately people from Sudan are now banned to enter to the US. I think US needs more people with such a great personality from Sudan. I think this is a great example to prove that people should be held accountable for their actions not for where they were born.

City of Chicago is CORRUPT for allowing uber to operate without properly licensing their drivers, allowing uber to use commercial insurance only during the time a customer is in the car and they are allowed to charge what ever they want. Uber drivers DO NOT have chauffeur license and are not required by the city of chicago. Imagine who your driver could be. Uber does not have commercial insurance 24/7 like taxis and limos do. They only provide commercial insuarnce from the time a customer gets in the car to the time the customer is dropped off. If the driver gets into an accident going to pick up the customer of after he/she has dropped off the customer, they are on their own. THATS NOT FAIR! This is the majority of the reason why uber has such cheap rates. Lastly, city of chicago has a cap on taxi meters as to what their minimum charge should be. Where as uber doesnt have such cap. City of chicago allows about 7000 taxis and 2-3000 limos. There is approximately 50,000 uber cars in chicago now. They do not have a cap by the city of chicago. To me it seems uber is government controlled. It has been most like created to destabilize the taxi industry because the taxi industry is mostly controlled by middle eastern which USA hates. The government created taxi medallion to put rules for taxi service and now a new company enters the market and rules do not apply to them. HOW IN THE **** CAN THE GOVERNMENT ALLOW THIS SCAM? Ubers reason is that they are a technology company? ok so what? You are providing the same service as taxis and limos. You are taking people from point A to point B. The end result is this government is making hell lot of money from this technologies companies and they do not care to put rules on them. MAKE THE RULES FAIR FOR ALL SIDES. UNTIL THEN SHAME ON YOU CORRUPT USA!!!!!!!
