Staff are con artists. They will lie to your face regarding prices, quality and what’s actually in stock. Do yourself a favor and go to Lincoln park location. Better people, better selection and better experience.

This location has one of the largest but yet not overwhelming selections Ive seen. Some places that have a huge selection just give me a headache. This has just the right amount and organized in a way that is satisfying. The employees are helpful and kind. The parking is convenient enough especially given the location. The prices are very reasonable! I was able to get a beautiful 36 piece set of China for $12.50! I was a happy camper!

This is my favorite thrift store in the entire city and I am a pro! They ALWAYS have a plentiful selection, high quality clothing, attentive staff and fair prices. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star rating is because they don’t have a dressing room like The Goodwill.

I will say it in plain terms. Some of the staff either remove the good items donated and sell off, or they take the good stuff home. My aunt witnessed this herself when we came to purchase some items. A delivery was just made. She gave directions to the owner dropping off his items and so it was offloaded right where she was. As soon as the owner drove off, not more than 10 mins later a van drove in and took every one of those items just delivered away. They wernt tagged, nothing...In addition, when I personally tried to purchase 2 items, the prices were were written on them. The manager with a little challenge with one of his eyes took our items over to his counter and by the time we walked over he had stuck 2 fresh tags with atleast thripple the price on the items we had selected. From $2.50 he changed it to $12 and from 6.75 he changed it to $11plus.Overall, I advice if you need s nice couch, go there. Anything else e.g clothing and more are the leftovers the manager and some staff have already selected the best from and sold personally. Trust me.A better store if the Salvation army on Grand. Thanks

This is a vary large store, (three floors), with a huge variety of items. Items are used, but generally, are in very good condition. This store is a bit pricey, as compared to other like store. However, it is a well maintained store. (Its clean, well keep!) Employees are very helpful and knowledgeable!!! This place is still worth it!!!

Ive been going to this store periodically for many years and take it from me, its not worth your time. Go somewhere else. It used to at least have a large and charming vintage store on the second floor; thats now mostly scaled back. There are no treasures here. What they have is mostly low-end stuff, and anything that has a recognizable designer brand label has a major flaw 99% of the time. (Check for tears at the crotch or around the pockets.) This is a large store and it seems full of possibilities but there is nothing of value. Its almost like the Salvation Army diverts all the crap to store, thinking that the good location equals high enough sales to get rid of their junk. Dont bother. Also, the staff are rude and aggressive; if you make a purchase on the second floor, they will yell at you across the first floor like youre stealing something. Tacky.

It is a three floor unit. I like that they have a variety of dishes. I dont like that it is dirty! Like the walls are dirty. I was shopping for a while and then an employee tells me that the elevator to take my basket down to the first floor doesnt work. Like really? Then it is way over priced! Also, do not leave anything valuable in your car!!! Someone has been breaking in the cars that park across the street. I Didntrealize the glass until AFTER mine was broken into. Its someone whos watching.

They dont come when they say they will come and they are very last minute. I waited almost an entire day for a pick up that had to be between 8-12 and they came at 230. I had to reserve the freight elevator and they came and said they couldnt take any items except a lamp. When I spoke to the gentleman on the phone he said they couldnt take the console table, but i specifically asked if they can throw it away, then when the driver finally came he said they dont throw away any item.

This location tends to have a lot of furniture, most of which is in very good condition. Its also well organized and one of the larger stores. Parking is limited and youll have to feed the meter, but its worth it.

(A nice pit stop on your way to Neiman Marcus)I dont know whats more absurd; the fact that they want $20 for someones used & stained shirt or the PA announcements which try to convince you that its priced in your favor. It should be called the $20 store because they want $20+ for anything there. If the underwear is used, theyll want extra for the skid marks.

Im a homless pregnant women Due to a really bad DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SITUATION & I went in the thirft store to get some cloths & jacket because i only had what i was wearing. The total came out to $23.00 & i ened up losing my money & i explained the sisuation & the cashier paid for every thing out there own pocket. Your web site is very helpful & every one that works at your thirft store is always very kind, nice, helpful & they always keep a 😃 smile which makes me keep going back to your store as well as recommending it to other people..

Used to be cheap place to find good clothes, even though it was unorganized. Now the kind of organized it, and raised the prices. But still havent added a fitting room.

Review №18

It was pretty pricey for a thrift store. I only got 5 clothing items and spent $43. They dont even have a dressing room. I went up to 4 employees standing around talking and asked if they had a dressing room and one of them sarcastically informed me the dressing room was a mirror out in the open. Not very good customer service.

Big space with lots of items. 1st floor is all furniture, 2nd floor has clothing, basement floor has books, records games, toys, kitchenware, bricabrac. Nice/helpful workers. Expensive metered parking, so know what you want and keep it under an hour.

I come here all the time. True, its not very clean or organized, but if you take the time you can pick out some vintage gems. They often jack the price up on vintage items they know hipsters will drool over, but its still far less expensive than any vintage boutique.

Customer service is not a priority here!! I came in and saw a red Michael kors wallet i wanted in the case. I asked an associate with long curly hair if they could hold it while i shopped around the store and she said yes. Never once did she say someone else could but it, or that i should buy it now to ensure that it wouldnt be sold. By the time i came up there to buy my stuff the wallet was sold even tho i put it on hold. Im sure they lied so one of the associates could buy it themselves, they didnt even apologize for the mistake that they made. Also i would agree with others that the items in the store are overpriced for the quality.

The staff seems really unconcerned. I was dropping off a large clothing and footwear donation this afternoon collected through a clothing drive. I was given no direction on where to put the items “ok bring it in”. I have 6 large garbage bags outside where do you want me to put the bags? “Ok bring them in”😜
