This place is really resourceful but I would suggest looking online for cheaper options as well. They overpriced somethings in the store Ive found online for half the price. The owner has written receipt systems with a hand held calculator in all. Nostalgic for some, weird & antiquated to me. But overall I enjoy shopping here. The products have been useful

The Hispanic female clerk seemed so cold and unattached. I normally have pleasant and engaging experiences at the bug stop. The clerk made me feel rushed with my order. This is totally unnecessary.

The store is on Halsted. There is a parking lot across the street you can park in. It takes about 15min in store. Quicker if you know exactly what needed. Knowledgeable staff and they even have recommendations and how to use if you have kids/animals/ or people with medical conditions. As of right now with the covid19 they limit it to 4 people in store at a time and there is also road work on Halstead. They take cash and credit. If you want your trip to be even quicker use there website to check out the products and call to see if they would be what you need. Everybody at Bugstop is professional and polite. These products are what exterminators use . it is a DIY extermination. Prices are reasonable. Products work better than the raid, black flag etc found in grocery stores etc.. I get the powder that you reconstitute and spray around foundation of house 2 a yr. Works great and no bugs unless a new person moves in and brings them accidentally.

Great place when you have problems with critters. Parking is sometimes difficult around here but you can park in the lot across the street

This is the only place Ive found that still has Propoxur in stock. Stock up while you you can, its been discontinued by the manufacturer and is the only thing thats gonna get rid of your bedbugs, even though its not labelled to do that. (Its relatively harmless to healthy adult humans but if you do spray it inside your home you need to keep children and pets out for four weeks afterward.)
