Nail Palette is the best salon in the area! The technicians are really precise and super nice, the owner is a wonderful lady, and they add nice little touches to the services (hand sheet mask!). Ive been going since I moved to Chicago and the nails are perfect everytime.

Making an appointment was so easy & I got my nails done the same day! I do wish they had more variety in the dip polish & I wish they lasted longer. Ive also never had this bad of hang nail. I dont think Ill come back for dip but definitely for a pedicure 😊

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I’ve been going here for 3-4 years now. The owner is very friendly and runs a great establishment. Her team is also amazing. They are extremely friendly and are very good at their jobs. My nails always look amazing and last so long. She uses only quality products and has a huge selection of colors. I never feel rushed which is one of the reasons I always leave having a great experience. Best around, trust me!!!

We were excited to try a new place and quickly disappointed. We called saying we were going to be late but no more then 10 minutes and were told fine but not longer as they had another client. Mind you it was 3 of us for mani and pedis at 530 and they close at 7 so was shocked they were taking others. After we sat in the chairs they told us they could no longer do the manis just a polish changed. The pedi took less then 30 minutes and that was with polish. Do not recommend! They are looking to turn and burn.

I’ve been going to Nail Palette for well over a year now for my Dazzle Dry manicures and eyebrow wax. I’ve gotten my manicure done by just about everyone and you can’t go wrong, but Haley is my go to gal now and she always does an incredible job. My nails are kept in tip top shape and health thanks to her!

Great manicure and a very pleasant place

Just got a Dazzle Dry manicure and regular pedicure. The process was quick, calm, and clean. Covid protocols (temperature check, barriers between stations, hand sanitizer, hand washing) made me feel safe. I saw Jin for my services, and she was lovely.

They are not professional and the lady at the counter was very rude and was literally begging for the TIP. The service was okay or I can say just so so. And I believe TIP is given with happiness and customer wish and not been begged. Even she was arguing alot with me in a very very rude way. She also took extra $5 of what i told her as TIP by her own. Really very upset and never gonna go back and will never recommend as well 🙄

I have been going to Nail Palette for 6 months but no more. I decided to try a dip manicure as opposed to just my usual natural nail. I was told I should be good for 3 weeks. The dip manicure began falling apart at 2 weeks. Big pieces of the polish just popped off of the nail. It looked bad. I went back in and explained what happened. And that I wanted to know what could be done. I was told they would not do anything. A free fix is only good for 10 days. I explained that no one told me this. And from what Id read and heard from other people my manicure was done wrong, this is why it was crumbling off my nails. I ended up being told I could pay to take it off, pay to fix the broken nails (though I would need a fill or they would look bad) or I could just get another dip manicure. I explained I would not pay another $45 for the manicure to fall part. I opted for removal. Halfway through I was offered another discounted service but told this was all that can be done. I left with the dip removed and wont be back. This is so disappointing for a place I really enjoyed going. But this is not the first small mistake so its time to move on.

Its very clean and the people who work there are polite and professional. I just got a basic manicure, not a no-chip manicure, and it lasted longer than a week! The shoulder massage during the manicure is amazing, and they have good massage chairs for pedicures. Definitely a good value for your money. Its a relaxing environment, so Ill be going back again!

I’ve gone to this nail salon under 5 times and had a decent experience up till recently. I made an appointment ahead of time with a nail technician I preferred. I arrived, got my nails done and when I went to pay, the woman at the desk questioned my tip for my service. I was absolutely blown away as I had never ever been spoken to that way. She was trying to explain their customer rotation system to me and how since I made an appointment, I should tip either 20% or more because she missed a “walk-in.” Due to me scheduling an appointment! How is me making an appointment my problem? Not to mention telling me how much i should tip someone is SO unprofessional. I paid $65 for my service which is expensive to begin with! I will never go back here. I’m sad because I actually enjoyed my service, just not the lady at the front desk who should not be working there. I hope no one ever experiences what I went through!

Lovely shop with professional and friendly staff. Have been coming here regularly for years. My nails always look great when they are done. Place is popular so call ahead for an appointment. Tips are cash only so make sure to bring some along with you.

I have been living in Chicago for about a year and have been to at least 20 nail salons, most of which were awful. I do makeup and skincare services for work and am required to have short, well manicured nails. I wandered into Nail Palette today after having a horrible experience at a nail salon down the road, and in desperate need of an adequate manicure. Oka, my manicurist, was so kind and did a beautiful job on my nails! She told me the best way to take care of them as they heal from the damage caused by the awful salon I went to earlier. The atmosphere is relaxing, tranquil, and the space is exceedingly well kept and clean. I have finally found my nail salon in Chicago and can’t wait to go back!

I got a no chip foil manicure, went home and realized one of the nails was not to my liking. I returned four hours later & ask them to fix it and they wouldn’t without charging me. In my opinion they should have fixed it right away no questions asked because I was literally just there the same day. I’m happy to pay their prices at another salon that treats their customers way better!

Very relaxing salon. Great leg/ foot massage.On the pricier side, however well worth it if you want a little pampering with your color!

$45 for dip manicure AND they charge $10 for removal of nail polish if you already have some on. The worst dip I’ve had, my cuticles were sore from them trying to file it and shape it from being so thick. And I’ve had it less than a week and it’s already chipping. My usual nail place dip manicure will last me 2.5 weeks at least, and it’s cheaper. Only good things I have to say: Great pedicures at Nail Pallet, they rub your back w/ manicure, & it’s a clean environment. Waste of money.

UPDATE - I ended up just doing my own pedicure two days later and it by far surpassed what I got at that overpriced place filled with mediocre talent. Don’t spend your money there.Came here for a pedicure. They’re ... cool. Not bad but not concerned about knocking your socks off either. The salon is nice and clean. No one really spoke when we got there though so that was a bit awkward. Our pedicure was decent but not good enough to make me come back. I want someone who will DEAL with my feet. Show em who’s boss, ya know?! Remove all the callous, file my my bunions down, etc. All that:) My tech was way too cute with my feet. Even when I told her I still had callous on my heel and asked her to go back, I felt like she still could have done better but I decided to just let it go. For the pedicures to be slightly more on the expensive side ($30), I expected more. Again, not bad ... but certainly not great either. I won’t be coming back.

Went here today and it was awesome. We didnt have an appt but they made time to do our nails. A great atmosphere, polite staff, and relaxing music. This place is great! Love it, already made my next appointment.

It depends who is doing your nails. Some are better, but some are not so good. The girl who did my manicure could barely speak English so it was hard to communicate with her. She also picked a color for me, but I wasnt happy and tried to tell her I wanted a different color. Anyway, it was pointless as she forced this color on me. It was too light and almost invisible, I wanted something darker and more bold and visible. I wasnt happy. I paid $15.00 plus $3:00 tip, but my nails looked like no color was done. Do not let them to force their choice of color on you. Be patient...

It was very bad experience. I came 45 minutes before closing and ask them if they still take people. They said yes. I needed mani and pedi. They did mani and pedi same time. They spent only about 10 minutes for everything. Every customer who was sitting in a chair before I came was still sitting after I was done. My hand nails look absolutely same before and after their service. I didnt want any color just cut extra cuticles, cuticle is the only reason I came today. And I pointed few times on it. They just shaped nails and did some massage. I left with same cuticles. Feet cuticles still with me as well lol. I regret I havent complained, I was in shock and wanted to leave.. and I regret I paid for that...

Took my mom and aunt here - we all loved it and our manicures looked great and lasted long.

I tried to give this place a chance but I am taking my business elsewhere. I had 2 bad experiences which included still having dry skin on my foot after getting a pedicure and getting a horrible job on a no chip manicure. When I asked about the dry skin on my foot they said that was just my foot. What does that even mean???? When it was time to pay, they said it was $5 more than they had told me when I called them. The woman told me that the price never changed so she was basically called me a liar.My no chip manicure had way too much polish which caused my nails to be bumpy and overflowing from the side.The salon is pretty but Im so glad there are other nail salons near by. I would recommend the other salons on Clark St.

First they lied when I made the appointment about the services they offer. My manicure took twice as long as my usual salon & chipped within a day. Considering what they charge I expected ALOT BETTER SERVICE!

Yeah this place was clean and all but the manicure was useless. Young did my nails. She didnt shape my nails, or even do my cuticles. All she did was paint them red. I had to come home and fix my own hang nail and cuticles. I dont even want to look at my nails. It makes me mad. Not in the Christmas mood at all. I even asked her to make them square and shes like ok then continues to NOT even do that. Oh well. Waste of $40. Not coming back. Would rather go to a cheap unsanitary place and have good looking nails after.

My experience here was terrible. Yes the place looks new and modern and has relaxing music, but no one smiles and they butchered my nails. I asked for a mani/pedi. When doing the pedicure she barley scrubbed my feet and I had to ask her to scrub some areas more, and when she cut my toe nails nothing was cut off and I had to ask her to cut them more. During my manicure the woman kept cutting too far into my cuticals and I was bleeding all over, she made one nail into a triangle shape and anither nail had streat when she pokoshed it. I had to have someone else try to fix her mess. When I showed the woman at the cash register my rediculess nails, she told me that I must have cut them badly before coming...I will never come to this place again and suggest others stay away too.

You dont have to make an appointment. Place is clean and no blaring TV.
