I use to go to this shop years ago. I use to love the work. But now I’m very disappointed. A total waste of my money my nail are lumpy and bumpy and polish are sloppy and runny. My toes are also horrible I could have painted this myself and saved my money.

I have been coming to Chicago nails for so many years now, and every year it gets better and better. Ann has always been so sweet in remembering me and my family and what we like to get done. Their prices are decent and I’d definitely recommend you try them out.

I waited an hour and a half to be helped. One nail tech tried to let a man that came in AFTER me, cut me in line. The guy who did my nails rushed on my fill in & the lady who did my pedi didn’t know how to put acrylic on my big toe.. she asked one co worker if she can do it and she said no… so i asked another worker if he can do it and he said that he didn’t have time to do it even though i offered to wait for him. I left very dissatisfied

Horrible!!!! They do decent work at most. My friend and I got there at 9:30 when they opened and no one was there. They finally opened then they didn’t have enough people working. They proceeded to take people in front of us and didn’t start my friends manicure until 1:00. We just sat there while she did other people who arrived after us. I wanted to like this place since it’s convenient and close to where I live but will not not be returning. There are way too many nail salons that will treat their clients with respect. Do not go here if you want good service.

Omg this place is amazing affordable and they did a great job on my dip nails, I love the shape and color this is the way dip nails should look like IMO anyways Anne did my eyebrows and she did an amazing job, she added some highlights to my eyebrows absolutely fantastic! I totally recommend this nail salon 😍

What I have observed is that their work is not reciprocated most of the time by entitled customers. They want first on the charts and receive good service; leave no tip.

They are beyond slow, say we’ll be with you in 10-30 minutes and you’re waiting for over an hour. There is no communication with works or the guest here. In the morning when they open they don’t have anyone to do fill ins or any kind of nails. I’m very disappointed in this place now. Use to love coming here but think I’m gonna fine somewhere else now.

I would recommend getting a facial even if it costs a little bit more. The products used are top grade and are inaccessible in other locations.

Us Nail & Spa is easily the most terrible, disgusting, place I have ever been to. I would go on but my previous review of this place reaches its character limit on Google. I went in earlier today, after I called and specifically made an appointment for 11 am.When I arrive there was ONLY one acrylic nail technician that was already working on a womans nails..I say that I am here for my 11 oclock full set appointment, and as I go to wash my hands, the lady who does pedicures, tells me hes busy, he has other people before you, come back at 1 pm..I wasnt told this over the phone he was busy, they just said ok, so I think this establishment is extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend spending time or money there and Im discontinuing my contribution to this business after two years. ✌️🤷‍♀️

Went here last week for a full gel set, the guy that did my nails did not put enough powder/gel on my nails and the color that I choose was clumpy. The next day had to come back because Da polish was peeling and when I went back for them to repaint them they acted like they didn’t want to fix the problem but they did but had to use a glitter polish instead to go over some of the nails because they ran out of my original color. A few days after that 2 of my nails broke and I went back to get them fixed and to change the color, he shaved my nails down just so I had to get a fill and I ended up spending another 32 dollars on top of the 55 dollars that I already paid a few days prior to that. I was not pleased with their services and I will NEVER be back. Money hungry nail salon.

This was my birthday weekend and I chose the absolute worst nail salon! I had such a poor experience:( the lack of communication, the aggressive tones ... they also over charged me for my pedicure because I decided against the full set. There was only one nail tech available and he took his friend over me (whom was next) they’re eye lash work looked terrible. I usually don’t do reviews but I don’t want anyone else to waste it they’re money and time!

First time and it was horrible. The manager was very unprofessional. She yelled at her employees infront of customers. Instead of criticizing them, maybe she should do her job right by teaching them the right way without being very rude and disrespectful. She kept yelling at them and telling them they are doing it wrong. I will never go back and the place doesnt even deserve 1 star.

The full sets stick for a very long time the designs are amazing and not like other places, they take theyre time and create some beautiful art which sticks aroune!!! Basically, the first few times I went there I would wait too long and was skipped in line a couple times. that was the worst service I ever experienced there. I was treated like I wasnt important enough and neither was my money. I see by other reviews they treat a lot of people like that. But I still didnt give up on the salon. I continued going there. I needed to give it a chance. And they actually impressed me the last couple times. I got to know the workers there a lil bit and they gave me excellent service this time. My eye lash extensions look fabulous. And my nails look great!! I definitely learned that you shouldnt judge a book by the cover and even the first few pages. That after being unsatisfied those first few times you still need to give it a chance. It can surprise you in the end.

I walked in with out an appointment and was seated right away. Gwen did an amazing job and was so much fun to talk to. The prices are great and she really took her time to remove the previous gel in a way that didnt destroy my natural nail. She is creative and honestly my new favorite tech in the city.

Mike is probably the best one there other than the younger asian woman who I never see now. And the younger Asian guy that does pedicures is not good. He doesn’t put any strength in any thing and doesn’t do a message on the leg or foot. Prices are right if you can get the right people.

Amy and her staff are quick to help when I come in to get a fill. The prices are unbeatable and overall I am impressed with the services that they have provided for me. Clean, quick, cheap, amazing work, lots of nail colors, many services and much more. I would give it 10 stars if I could, thank you Amy!

If I could give their service a 0 star I would. This was absolutely the worst experience ever. I’ve been coming to this shop for a while, since I haven’t found a nail “home”, each time I look pass the rude attitudes and terrible customer service, but today I couldn’t take it anymore. I walked out without getting any services. When I walked in, I was never greeted or even asked what services I was getting for the day, so I just sat and waited since there was already a line of people. The wait time was pretty long, but I was nice enough to allow someone else to go in front of me, since the owner (Ann) told the young lady to sit in her chair before even seeing who was next in line. I simply came to get my eyebrows done. After she finished the other lady eyebrows, she began working on someone else’s lashes, KNOWING I was waiting. I couldn’t believe what was happening. The owner even took it further to give an attitude after I inquired about when I will get services done. She ignored me for about (3) minutes then stated in a very nasty tone “What, you can sit in my chair“. At that point, I politely removed my self from the shop. I WILL NEVER go to this shop again. My family even comes here, and I will make sure to tell everyone I know—NEVER give this shop your business or money. The worst experience and customer service ever. I do not recommend others to come here, their work (mani + pedi) is very mediocre. They treat their customers any kind of way. Yes, it’s a business, but having interpersonal skills and being RESPECTFUL goes a long way.

My nails have lasted with no breaks or chips. Their prices are very reasonable. Its a little cramped inside but service was good.

Got fungus on my big toe nails after a pedicure here a few months ago. However, when they do my acrylic and gel fingernails, they do come out nice. BUT I wont be coming back after the whole fungus situation. Just disgusting. I just wont risk my health.

After getting my feet done I waited patiently for 40 minutes then I get an over the shoulder talk that her nail techs dont feel like doing anyone else.Why in the $!! would you not tell me this 40 minutes ago. Rude and unprofessional, no sense of order and clearly overbooking for greed w/o consideration of others. Not again.

I have been here a few times successfully. This was not one of those times. I get acrylic nails with a gel polish. The nails always come out looking fine. But their customer service is a COMPLETELY different story. I am used to them being just surface friendly-- no extra niceties or small talk. But I came in today for my usual 10-day to 2-week fill in. I had broken one of my nails two days ago and had glued it back on with super glue (which dissolves when exposed to water, so every time I wash my hands the glue deteriorates. Because of this, the acrylic part of the nail fell off again, and I reglued it. So, I know how long my nail is going to last.) I ask him to please redo this nail for the $3 charge so that it wont break again. This man flat out REFUSES. I explain to him why I would like this done twice, the first time he just said no the nail is fine. I said no, can you please redo it, I will pay for it. He immediately catches an attitude and says no I know nail, its fine. Come back if it breaks. (who wants to have to come back to this horrible dirty nail shop in like 36 hours? NOT ME) so I ask him again and once again he says that the nail is fine and isnt going to break. He then continues to do my nails, filing extra carefully around the nail I said might break. I was tempted to break it right then and there so that he had to fix it.. I am not that petty, however. So in summary: dirty, rude, and will refuse services you are willing to pay for. I would recommend going down the street to US Nails and Spa, they are very friendly and clean and my nails always come out great, unlike this place.

Went in for the 1st time to do a gel refill. I have had one whole nail that has chipped the nail polish and it never stayed on.

Its not dirty, its just poorly decorated and a bit cluttered, but if you dont care about that its no big deal. They are efficient. I usually like that. I just wont come here when Im in the mood to sit while someone takes their sweet time fussing over my foot scrub. The polish job was fine, no smudges, nothing crooked, and the no-chip lasted 2 weeks to the day as promised. Pricing is standard: 55$ for no chip manicure and standard pedicure. I will be back. They over charge me for a manicure no chip 38$ I when I came back they said it was $33 I wanted a no chip manicure and the guy charge me 45$ for something I did not want smfh never coming to this place again

Customer service is horrible I come in on a Friday at 10:00 am they were open at 9:30 am and the lady tells me an hour because no one showed up for work .... is this how we really run a business ... professionalism needs to be improved.

This place is dirty, rushed, and full of so many illegal practices. They dont listen to any of your requests and they really dont seem to know much about the structure of the nail itself.They are constantly filing the sides of my nail plate way down, causing my nails to now grow unattached. You dont file the nail plate!Theyre always sanding down the tops of your nails, which is completely unhealthy and unnecessary.I have tried to give these guys a second chance, but its just horrible.The last time I went, my brand new nail polish was broke before it was even opened, all of my nails were crooked and smudged, it was just a disaster.I tried to explain how I wanted them and how to fix it, but they either pretend not to speak English, or just dont care.I hope this place gets shut down.
