Very straightforward unloading process with little wait or difficulty which is odd for a place in Chicago.It is a first come first serve place so get in line on the side of the road as early as possible. I was lucky I was the only one waiting.Backing to dock 5, they use all other docks for their trailers. A little difficult blind backing and tight room. That’s the only reason for the 1 star down but then again there’s never room in Chicago. Cars and trucks prevented from doing a straight back.You can see check in window on the side of building as you approach it next to dock 1. Only a few docks (like 5) here for reefer loads.

Wondered why had over a 24 hour delivery window for live unload so I checked Google. Read the reviews indicating it was a first come first serve place. Got here as early as I could.. around 0500 on Tues. Friendly yard dog greeted me when I pulled in told me to park in the drive on the side and check in at the window. Checked in with recieving said they would come get me when ready. One truck already in the dock (#6). Waited about 20 min. Friendly employee came to tell me easiest way to dock. Easy offset almost straight back. Unloaded 20 pallets paperwork in hand around 0640. Easy peasy... even for newer drivers. Very friendly staff. Not sure about parking as I got there when they were open. Saw 2 porta potties.

First of all , I would like to thank the SECURITY GUARD 👍🏼 for explaining what to do.I got here around 22:00 , and there was no trucks , so I was the first one in line for my apt at 6:00, and as other truck drivers mentioned, that the guy goes Knocks on your door, around 4:45. They will give you the last door one your right #6 if you are parked one the road next to a cone 📍, you will need to turn around and door number #6 will be on your left, 5:36 got unloaded, pretty quick! 👍🏼💪🏼 keep up the good work.

Once get on s. Major ave get in line behind trucks. Security is great at directing what to do. One dock door is true so depending on when in line you could be there only 1 hour or maybe 6. They have a Porto John so I would recommend grab some food and park In line on the street night before. Other than wait everything else is aces!!!

Extremely slow unloading! Arrived at 4:59am departed at 1:00pm. They unload out of one door. Please arrive early and have food on truck. Overnight parking is allowed on property. Avoid coming here if possible. Receiving is open M-F 4:30am-2:00pm CST

Excellent other then the 4 am waking up, but they have a great system and when in the door unloaded within 20 minutes and had a full trailer. No complaints here.

Fast and easy only had to get out of my truck to open doors. Drivers get there early and park in line. Line starts at stop sign (street) and a employee will bang on your door at 0411. From there you are giving directions and they will break your seal. 30 to 45 mins to unload. Great job Rose Packing truly appreciate.

Over 2 hours to unload. Totally unacceptable

Wish they had more than one door unloading. Takes approximately an hour each truck to unload and its first come first serve. So when I got there there were four trucks ahead of me I spent a total of five and a half hours there for them to unload 12 bins of turkey parts.

I love this meat packing place. You never know what kind of meats they will have on sale. You can get really great meats at a great price. Today I bought 2 5# boxes of smoked ham. The pieces might be different sizes but who cares if the price is right? !

OMG. I am not a Ham person but will eat it. This Ham is unbelievable good. Its not over salted and in my tastings of hams the best you can buy. I love this Ham. You have to try it to understand how good this is.

They say first come first serve.I just parked into a dock and have been here since 10am.Definitely dont want to come back here anymore.I got screwed on my hours and pick up now.Dont recomend this place.Its almost 5pm now.

Long time to get unloaded (6 hours)

Appointment time means nothing here. 0500 appointment, first come first serve, 5th truck in line at 0300, 0900 now and still one truck ahead of me. They only unload one truck at a time. Negative stars here if I couldUpdate..... 2 years later and nothing has changed. Still 1st come, 1st served. An hour per truck so 6 trucks ahead of you? Youre here 6 hours before getting a door.

Only one bay for loading and unloading trucks. Other than waiting your turn they are quick. The guy in the shipping and receiving office was rude as can be. That is why I didnt give 4 stars.

Don’t go here! First come first served facility.... came here 6:16 am, started unloading 1:00 pm. They unload 1 truck at a time, unload pallet, weight it repack and only then going for second... waste of time, totally. What pisses me the most, 2 trucks came after me and got unloaded first... first come fs....

Dont come here to unload if you dont want to sit for 6+ hours. They work at a snails pace with only one dock door in use. I wish I could give zero stars. Lost many reloads while waiting here.

Very slow been here over 7 hours and still have no door, they have tooooo many doors but they only use one door. They wont even let you sleep they line you up and they keep moving you every one hour.

The security guard is nice and they let you arrive early for your appointment. If you run out of hours they let you rest in their parking lot.

So this place is slow unloading, all other posts are true about this place they do have street parking and its fcfs kind of thing, be ready to spend some time here or dont take cheap loads to this place
