Master Branden is a very patient teacher especially with kids, even with kids who are unruly at times. No parents has ever complained if their kids got kicked or punched because its all part of their training. Even the kids who got kicked understood that and they kept coming back to train because thats how they learn and develop their skills and physical strength. Besides, no one has ever been seriously hurt because they use sparring gears and they know how to control their attacks.The school is simple; its a ministry where everyone treats each other with respect and understanding. If there is a problem, parents would reach out to Master Branden and vice versa. No parents has interrupted a class because they respect and understand how it is done.The school is very affordable, the tuition is cheap and everything is reasonably priced (uniforms, gears, weapons, belts). The school is still growing so it doesnt have a lot of amenities that big martial arts school have. Still, it doesnt stop the students to learn their forms, kicks, self defense and sparring techniques. Some of them even went to tournaments and won medals and trophies.All in all, I recommend going to this school and study under Master Branden. :)

Well in my opinion the Master is a great and wonderful with the kids every since my son started he loves it and, I even got my youngest son to join and he loves it also. The kids are all very respectful and get along very well, and are all so friendly. The parents and very nice and get along and are friendly to all who come and join. New students are all welcome

Master Brandon is a very good teacher. My daughter loves it there. It teaches a lot of discipline and self defense and the kids have fun at the same time. Going in there you have to expect that it is a contact sport and be prepared to deal with a little roughness but it helps kids learn self defense. All the parents are very welcoming and it feels like a family. We had a very unhappy parent (who left a bad review) after a year of being there and Im glad she is no longer welcomed as she was very hostile to the point the kids were afraid. Im glad the master put the kids safety first and banned her.

Really great classes! My youngest son just turned 6years old last month and my oldest son is 9. Its been almost 4weeks since theyve joined and they couldnt be happier. The main reason I found this class for my boys was for discipline, structure, and not just physical strength but mental strength as well. Master Brandon is an amazing instructor and really great with children. The curriculum is vast so the students are constantly learning new things and theyre always entertained. If it wasnt for my large work load I wouldve been joined...oh, did I forget to mention that these classes arent just for children but adults as well! I think its absolutely amazing to be able to train alongside of your child. I couldnt be more delighted to have found such a great place for my boys. And on top of everything the classes are very affordable! You cant lose :)

Thank you for the confidence boost my son has received with this taekwondo class. He has learned so many skills and techniques. Its great exercise and fun for a boy his age. He loves all the kind hearted kids he has made friends with in this class. Master Brandon is a great taekwondo instructor and really puts his heart in it. We see ourselves here forthe long run.

Sabunim Branden is the best my kids ever had he not only teach them fighting skills he showed them respect to family as well as to themselves I definitely recommend The Way classes to other parents!

The one time I visited it was promotion day the children were not fully dressed and was showing up late still able to be tested as well as promoted, The washroom had no hot water, Parents were allowed to bring their pets in the dojo. I feel this school have no discipline or respect.

I absolutely love this place. Master branden is the best! I havent been in awhile but I just told my son Travis , that next month he will be going back and I can’t wait! Master Branden is definitely someone you want your child to look up to. My son needs someone that looks like him to be a positive role model and master branden posses that. A place that provides children with a safe place to train. Anything that provides children with an opportunity to stay off the streets is a plus in my book.

I found it for my daughter to learn discipline and confidence in herself. I liked it so much I joined to learn the art as well. Its great place to learn taekwondo. Master Brandon is a great teacher and great with kids.

I love it here...master Brandon is one of the best at taekwondo..I highly recommend his classes. He teaches discipline and has especially showed my little girl some awesome moves with discipline toughness but also making it fun that she never wants to miss a class....her goal is a black belt. Master brandon will lead her to it ..

Our three children began their training at The Way Tae Kwon Do school in the Little Village community of Chicago about three years ago when the school humbly had less than ten students. Master Branden has not only taught our children the techniques and terminology of Tae Kwon Do, he has also created and encouraged a safe space for the children and families in a community that is primarily Latino and has a bad reputation for street violence and crime. Together, the school is not only growing in number, but maturing as a family. Sure there are growing pains and struggles, but watching my own children grow, improve, learn how to problem solve (thats a hard one, even for adults), learn from their mistakes (thats a hard one too) and just enjoy the presence of their friends in Tae Kwon Do is a true blessing. My three children are deputy Black belts and not only are we proud of them, they are proud of themselves for their achievements.
