Very happy with Moritz and his team. After getting the runaround from a few other landscapers, I happened upon Moritz and reached out. He had his crew out the same day to look at our yard (5-Unit condo building) and then provided an estimate the next day. I needed and overall clean-up, plant trimming and complete re-mulch. The estimate was very reasonable and I scheduled the service for the following week. His crew showed up as expected and did a fantastic job. We had a small job to make our front garden look nicer: remove some bushes, replace them with better choices and move a Japanese maple from another location. I contacted Moritz early in the season so we wouldnt get lost when winter finally broke and regular, larger projects would take over. Great communication, came out quickly to see what we needed done and received a detailed estimate. Quote was very reasonable and scheduling was quick. The garden looks exactly as we wanted! Even better, the guy who did the work treated as if it was his own garden. He was very careful around spring tulips that were popping up and placed everything not only as we wanted, but adjusted slightly for a better angle. He even offered to mulch so the final look was more finished - we planned on picking some up the next day, so this was a nice gesture to save us time (and that was added to the final invoice.) Payment was easy through Zelle. Highly recommend this company; we will certainly be using their services again!

I was having difficulty finding a person to do landscape clean-up in our yard. We live in Lincoln Park so I tried asking around to no avail. I then found Moritz Welt on yelp/google and texted him. He got back to me in less than 5 minutes and had someone to our home to give us a quote within 2 hours. The quote was incredibly reasonably. They showed up the next day and did the yard work. I would 100% recommend them and use the company again and again.

I contacted Moritz Welt on a Friday afternoon inquiring about fall leaf cleanup around our condo building. Saturday morning a team member arrived at our home to estimate the work. Not only was the price very reasonable, but it was significantly lower than the budget I provided them. I approved the estimate on the spot, and the team got to work right away. They were quick, proficient and friendly. I will definitely be using them again.

I called to use his snow removal services but he doesnt service my area but he did give me some wonderful advice of how to handle the issue I have with snow removal he gave me some tips on how to do it better myself which was wonderful advice for me I thank him very much its too bad I could not use his service

I have used Welts a couple of times and have been very happy. Moritz, the owner, is friendly and very responsive. The entire transaction was negotiated and completed with only a few days. No high pressure. Suggestions were made as to other things that could be done, but you never feel pushed. The work is excellent, efficient and the overall experience is very positive. I will absolutely use them again.

Top men. All hustle. Cleared my city yard of 2 years of neglect and overgrowth on a humid 85 degree day. -Half day actually for these two guys.I started the task. Wouldve taken me a week even if I had the time. I know, weak, but there it is.

I contracted with Moritz to install paver stones as well as add fresh soil and overseed my lawn in the spring. Pavers were installed satisfactorily. When the new grass came up it was all crabgrass. Just astounding how this could happen when you can get quality seed at box stores for under $10 a bag. After some back and forth and promises to remedy the situation I requested and received a refund for the grass work that was done.

My neighbor advised me Moritz, in the end I did not hire anyone else, his team painted the walls and ceiling, very precisely choosing the color I wanted; They made a beautiful patio, changed all the switches and sockets, made a beautiful backlight on my backyard, changed the plumbing, and this is just what I could remember. It has been a challenge to find a landscape service that not only returns calls in a timely fashion but is also reliable and affordable. So I was surprised when Moritz responded immediately to my call and stopped by later that same day to give an estimate. He also offered some helpful ideas for future consideration. He and his crew arrived after 7pm on the agreed day and they proceeded to do the landscape cleanup around my property. I was very impressed with their professional hard work ethic to complete the job regardless of the fact that it was already late in the day. Excellent service!

My 6 unit condo has worked with Moritz for the past 5 years or more for fall maintenance and winter shoveling. His workers ALWAYS do a great job, Ive never ever had any complaint whatsoever. His prices are a great value as well compared to other contractors. Moritz himself is very responsive, which is a real pleasure compared to other contractors who wont return calls or emails promptly. Mortiz and his guys are prompt, efficient, and very professional. Moritz is very prompt with his response time and coming out to quote work. The crew comes out they do the job and do it quickly. No messing around with these guys. We did general clean up this time but we have big plans for drainage, grading, and general landscaping. I am excited to see what the guys are fully capable of!

Excellent service at a very reasonable price! Moritz responded to my online request within 10 minutes. I had a major front lawn clean up. It was done promptly and professionally. They were extremely nice, honest and hard working. I highly recommend them and will be hiring them again. Moritz and his guys do a great job on my yard. I like that I can leave the grass and clean up to them for a very reasonable price. In addition to regular maintenance, they have cleaned up after storms and hauled the tree branches and mess away. We no longer dread yard maintenance and can spend our time in our garden!

I met those landscapers about 3 years ago and have no problem with them at all. Their good side is they communicate right away. I mean i call and i talk o the owner and by the next visit the additions are done.

We asked Moritz to complete a landscaping project for us and he committed to doing an estimate. During the call he asked at least four times what my nationality was and was probing to find out whether my grandparents were European. He never provided an estimate and after following up stated he was too busy and was trying to sell me on getting my lawn mowed twice a month. Total waste of my time.

Moritz was excellent to work with. He did great work at a super reasonable price. He was responsive, easy to work with and my place looked beautiful when it was done. I recommend him!

I called the manager in the morning and his crew showed up around 1 pm the same day.I paid them in cash right away and whenever I need them I simply email the manager and the screw come the next day. They make the process very fast, easy, and get the job done.

They were doing the service for my neighbors and I just asked them to do general one time cleanup of my place. Once done they proposed a weed killer applications for me so I did not need to hire true green company. Everything was done at reasonable prices.

My family hired Moritz couple times. For example he created a low maintenance landscape using railroad ties. It did cost a bit but overall we are happy with the final result.

Moritz is my neighbor and he helped to trim my tree free of charge. Later he sprayed my grass with weedkiller and after two applications about 50 % of weeds disappeared. He is very cooperative guy.

I would NOT recommend this company. Old Polish men very rasist against non-white neighborhoods. Literally called me at 10pm to tell me they thought Humboldt Park is too dangerous to do lawn care in because there were too many people sitting on porches staring at them when they drove by. His men have had bad interactions with black people and latin people and dont like to so business in such areas.I am as white as snow, from Michigan, and have lived in the community for ten years. I know ALL of my neighbors, who are all home owners that take very good care of their properties, and today was almost 60 and sunny! Everyone wasout on their porch! Absolutely crazy, and mind boggling that they even had the audacity to tell me that information. Unprofessional and sad. There is no room for this kind of needless bigotry in Chicago. I will gladly look elsewhere for landscaping this season.

Moritz really came through for us in a pinch. They provided quality services and went above and beyond in connecting with me and following up.

The guy was hired by my uncle and the work was done the same day. Moritz is fast and listen to the customers and once he jokes a lot.

So I called for a fall clean up. the back yard was over grown - like a jungle - needed attention- It would have taken me 20 hours to to it myself. They called right back & sent a guy over ( Ross ) for an estimate within the hour. The estimate was about what I was thinking. Sent via text - agian - good - I moved ffwd & they did a good job. They took Before pics & after pics & then they emailed them that afternoon back to me - i thought that was a great touch since I wasnt home.I would recommend. And I would use again.

Moritz is an excellent in putting the words into real things. we did not have a big budget foriur project so he simole gave us all available options with its prices.

I used landscaping service from Moritz last season and all service was excellent. So I will hire him one more time this year.

Unreliable, unprofessional, rude and a terrible service. I think the owner keeps all the money to himself and gives the poor helper $20. They did not arrive on schedule, cancel and reschedule multiple times. They are not trustworthy, don’t let them in your home.

Moritz finished the job without my presence. We agreed on details over the phone because i was at work. Result was satisfacionary.

We needed Moritz for fall cleanup. He pickup my phone call at 11 am and at 3pm his crew showed up. After two hours they were finished.

We know and use Moritz for years and use him for emergency landscaping cleanups throughout the season. We just email him the request, agree on price, leave the gate unlocked and by the evening when we come from work everything is done
