As a female do not go to this guy. Told me I still had “a little” time to have kids. I’m 25. Then when I was explaining trama I faces as a child he laughed and said “how does that make sense” also used the terms “so you can live a normal life”. Oh my favorite was “ I bet you won’t get anymore tattoos, because society is a certain way” He acts woke and spiritual but is extremely superficial.I wasn’t going to post this review bc I want to believe ppl have bad days or he didn’t mean it that way. But I just never want another woman with tattoos and no kids to feel like I did.

The experience was wonderful.....and at a very reasonable rate! The hypnotist was lovely, and eased into our session by making good conversation. We then talked over my concerns from the past and present. He asked questions on other important details too. I feel hypnosis was worthwhile, because it uses techniques other forms of therapy dont. The part which impacted me the most is the relaxation and then visual imagination under a highly relaxed state. As I go about my days, my conscious brain will audibly think dont do XYZ or remember a cue, like the color green, and then remember to relax a little. These triggers are thanks to working with the subconscious part of my brain in hypnosis. Traditional therapy tries to reason with our bad logic or negativity in our conscious thoughts, but there is much more at play in our minds architecture. Had an appointment in April for past life regression to hopefully help me with my fear of storms. I’ve still not received my audio recording, which has supposedly been sent to me twice so I’m really hoping some random stranger isn’t listening to it. The first time I went to Sunshine hypnosis I was a ticking time bomb. When I left Rays office I was a different person, I havent felt so calm in years. I had never tried hypnosis before and didnt know what to expect. Ray put me at ease with a nice, friendly conversation. When we proceeded to talk about my issues however, I lost it and bursted into tears. I was feeling hopeless and lost. Ray began with EFT and within minutes I experienced a huge relief. Unreliable. He rescheduled the first appointment that was scheduled a month in advance on the day of because he was sick, which I understood at the time. We scheduled a make-up session another month out because the first session didnt generate any results. He cancelled that one too because he was sick again, on the day of. I repeatedly reached out to reschedule or get a refund and he went completely dark on me. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge for services not delivered, which finally prompted him to respond and give me my money back. Very shady. His office where he sees people is really, really strange as well. Its on the ground floor, but it looks like the entry vestibule of an apartment building. Did not feel professional at all.

I have gone to see Ray three times now. Two hypnosis sessions and one past life regression. I honestly couldnt be happier. He has helped me achieve my goals, and learn more about my past. I definitely recommend his services.

It’s hard to explain over text how truly amazing my experience with hypnotic regression was. I learned things about myself that I don’t think would have been revealed to me in the present. As well as the ability to heal other areas of my life where I felt hopeless and unreconcilable. Raymond was very patient and never once during my session did I ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable.One thing that I was concerned about is reliving past deaths and even thought I did it wasn’t traumatic, horrifying or upsetting. It was peaceful and calm.My recommendation for reserves or hesitation over certain things is to ask questions. Raymond is more than willing to help you understand what the experience may be like. Which everyone’s is different and please keep in mind that you are going there to get a deeper understanding of yourself. Do not go in with preconceived thoughts that you will get to control what lifetime you will go to or who you will see in a lifetime.The experience of hypnotic regression was truly amazing and uplifting for me and I would recommend Raymond and his practice to anyone who is interested in this area of hypnosis.

Let me sum this up for you: Hypnotherapy with Ray freed me from a prison I feared would bind me for the rest of my life.I had tried for so long to free myself… I had tried so many other forms of therapy… and failed… that I honestly just thought, “Well – maybe this is just my life. Maybe this is just as good as it’s going to get. Maybe I’ve learned everything I’m going to learn here. And I’m not sure I want to continue living if this is what it’s going to be like.”Luckily my family helped me realize that I still had a lot to live for, so I backed down from my suicidal thoughts – but internally I was still suffering. I felt so defeated.And then, totally randomly, I saw an advertisement for hypnotherapy. I had never considered hypnotherapy, and my initial response was to ignore it… but my desperation for any type of help would not let me forget it. So finally, I looked up Chicago hypnotherapists. I talked with two of them on the phone. It was so obvious that Ray was the one I should go to… he was the one I could work with.Ray is a kind, gentle, and very encouraging person. In our first meeting Ray and I got to know each other and I told him about the mental hell I was in, how I felt trapped—paralyzed—by fear, anxiety… where I thought it all came from, and how much I had struggled and failed. He said, “The more I know, the more I can help,” so I shared some more. After about 45 minutes he said, “Well, I can help you. Are you ready to be hypnotized?”“Yes,” is what I said.“Yes! Hypnotize me. Hell – do voodu magic if you have to, I don’t care at this point. I just want some HELP,” is what I was thinking.As someone who had never been hypnotized, I’ll tell you that after the session, I wasn’t really sure if I had been hypnotized at all. I was perfectly conscious the whole time. Yes, there was the comfortable recliner and I closed my eyes. There was the light background music and Ray’s soft voice. But I was awake the whole time. I was trying diligently to imagine what Ray was telling me to imagine – things like “picture an elevator” and “concentrate on what that feels like, and now shrink that feeling down into a tiny ball.” It wasn’t rocket science. It wasn’t weird. I wasn’t complicated at all. To be completely honest, it felt like a nothingburger. After 35 minutes, I sat back up and transferred to the not-so-comfy chair I had started in. We chatted for a few more minutes and I got up to leave. I remember him saying, “Don’t worry too much about it, just let the session work for you.”I didn’t know what to make of it… I walked out onto the sidewalk, into the sunshine, and wondered if I had perhaps just been shammed.It wasn’t until later that evening that I started to realize that things were different. Things were happening that used to literally paralyze me with fear and anxiety… and I just wasn’t feeling the fear any more. IT WAS SO STRANGE!!! My brain knew what was supposed to be happening – I was bracing myself for the struggle, the pain, the paralysis. But I felt none of it. It simply was not there. IT. WAS. GONE!!!I’m a relatively smart person, well into my 40’s. I have no idea how it worked, and I’ve stopped trying to figure it out. It feels like I’ve experienced a miracle. It is now several months later, and I’m still FREE!I’ve been back to Ray once, and joyously told him about my experience. With a big smile on his face he said, “Good, that’s what I like to hear.” No kidding.In that session I asked him to help me with something else that has literally plagued me for decades… and I have experienced similarly miraculous results. I am not kidding. That second issue: GONE!I have made more progress in the 3 hours I’ve spent with Ray than I have in decades of personal struggle and hundreds and hundreds of hours in other forms of therapy.I’ve told all my friends and family about Ray.
