Kamini is awesome! Transformed my bushy brows to lovely, clean-shaped arches. She listened to what I wanted and delivered. Took her time to tame my eyebrows. She was very meticulous. The price tag $25 is a bit too much for me, but it does make a huge difference compared to the $10-12 eyebrow threading services I get elsewhere. Thank you and keep up the good work!

This place is nicely located in River North near a lot of good shopping and dining. It is clean and I was able to get in and out with no issues. Excellent service and I am pleased with the price. After over a year without threading due to Covid I cant be more thrilled.

Kamini is always amazing every time I visit. I always go for the eyebrow and tint - the end result is always so great that Im able to continue my day without it looking like my eyebrows have just been done. Id recommend to anyone :)

Kamini is the queen of customer care and her craft of threading. Ive been going to her for about 6 years now at this location every other week, I even moved further away and still travel back to the city to see her. She cares about her customers, and I know Shazia and Farha do too! Everyone is friendly and professional. The scheduling on their website, specifically to follow COVID protocol has been seamless, and the updates made to the salon have been so great to keep everyone safe. I highly recommend thread away.

I have been coming here for brows since mid 2013. I have never been disappointed, and have never needed to ask for any particular person. They all do a great job. It is out of my way to get here now, but after trying a few other places I am convinced that it is worth it.

Total waste! I have never heard of $25 for threading which was a terrible job!

The ladies at Thread Away were so sweet and kind. It was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded so I was pretty nervous but she set me at ease. The music playing softly in the background was so calming and the store smelled so nice. I highly recommend anyone curious about threading to come check it out! If they ask you if you want lotion say yes because she gave me a delightful forehead massage. I could have just fallen asleep in the chair!

Nora-- you did such a great job on my eyebrow/tinting! I have super blonde eyebrows and wanted to try something different and she did a fantastic job. Not only on tinting but also on threading! I love this new look and youll be seeing me again soon :)

I love this place. They are always so nice and warm, they do a great job on the shaping of eyebrows, and they are priced decently. They are bit higher if you go searching around the city, but the quality of service makes it worth the money.

BEWARE!! Not sure how they have an overall rating of 4.5 stars. I normally get my eyebrows waxed in south loop, but today I was in a bit of a hurry and decided to try out this place during my lunch hour. I work a block away and thought it would be convenient. Customer service was less than mediocre. She just told me to sit in the middle chair, she walked over and let the chair back....no warning. My eyebrows are extremely uneven, I could almost cry! Even though I tried to explain what I wanted, I was met with excuse after excuse of how my brows would look awkward if she tried to fix them. She then walked me to the front counter and asked for payment. I didnt want to make a scene so I paid. I WILL NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, let them thread anything again. They could have at least waived my fee for not being satisfied. OMG, awful.

Im obsessed with this threading place! Friendly staff, great work, and reasonable prices. I absolutely love threading because of Kanini, the owner. I moved to Australia 6 months ago, but Ive been back to chicago twice now and have made it a point to stop by here while Im in town. Five stars!!!

Omg !! I don’t even know how people get unsatisfied over there. They are like the kindest people ever , and they do an amazing job !! The workers are very friendly and take time to listen to you and put a lot of hard work to make you satisfied and all with a positive Atitude ! Best place ever for eyebrows. They have different location too. All of them are speechless !! I recommend this place 100% !!!

Best eyebrow thread Ive ever gotten.

Very unreasonable price compared to other threading places in this neighborhood. Also not the best skill set. Ruined the shape of my eyebrows and I am not hard to please. Have tried out several places and have never felt this way.

I got a henna tattoo done & they were super friendly & it wasnt costly!

Got henna done here the other day. There wasnt a book or anything to choose from; the lady just did it and didnt ask what I wanted. Its very uneven and random. Looks like a really crappy doodle. Very dissatisfied.
