Their motto is Loving God, Loving People but their janitorial staff has made my experience there intolerable. Caroline, one of the janitors verbally attacked me. When I asked to speak to her manager, Clifton Augustine, he made me wait 45 minutes before telling someone he wasnt coming! I emailed him four times before he responded. When he did, his response was What would you have me do? Now, Im being ganged up on and threatened because I reported her.

Ive been going to this pediatrics facility since I was a kid, and now my kids go. However, they really need better phone service. If I return a call Im literally being transferred in circles til someone hangs up on me.

I walked 3 miles with my nephew in the heat to go get a work out in. When I get there they didn’t let my nephew in even though the plan comes with 1 FREE guest per month. They didn’t let him go in. That’s a bunch of bull why didn’t they put that in their website that. In their website it clearly says 1 free guest a month that’s what I pay for and it says it comes included with my plan. I WILL NOT BE STAYING WITH THIS GYM and their lies!!!

Ive been been a member for 3 years now. Its what I look for in a gym. The staff is friendly, as are the members, theres no complicated contract or yearly fee, you can book appointments for a 1 hour and 15 minute workout. Open as early as 5:30am. 2nd floor had a track to run (currently closed due to covid). I would encourage anyone in North and South Lawndale to become a member.

Quality gym for prices that make me feel like I’m stealing. Very clean facility with quality equipment. Parking is free. Hoping they drop their silly muzzle requirement soon.

Ive been coming to this gym for about a year I would say. I have grown to love not only the place, but everyone here as well. I enjoy the equipment it has for all fitness levels. One thing I did notice though is this gym doesnt offer chalk. I was wondering if this was a temporary thing, due to covid, because I dont recall there ever seeing chalk. I believe it would be appreciated by myself and many others if this gym would offer complimentary chalk to everyone as many other gyms do. But overall this gym is great.

I go for spin class on mondays and wednesdays. Im not a small girl and I was very scared to walk in this class. The amazing lady geneva made me feel so welcomed. She pushed me to levels I never knew I could go. Im so excited for mondays and Wednesdays to come to her class!! I have learned to push my self and keep pushing even when I wanna stop. Spin class is a must if u wanna burn a lot of calories and push yourself!!

Lawndale Christian Fitness is doing an excellent job making sure they follow social distance protocols. Plus, the entire gym is spotless and they give each member a disinfectant bottle to wipe off the equipment.

This is my local Gym. I work out here several times a week. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I run their annual 5k and occasionally take some classes here. It is a nice little community here. Still trying to get them to build a swimming pool!

I love this gym. It has a sauna and pretty awesome classes. They are different everyday during the morning and afternoon classes as well. They have a lot of machine to use. If needed help there is staff there willing to help you and assist you with any questions and concerns you might have. Love the fact that there is a lot of lockers as well. Very friendly environment! First off, I love the fact that its Christian based. The music is really uplifting. The staff is friendly, but the people working out has become like a family, very friendly, helpful, encouraging and inspiring!!

This place is clean, the people who work out here are very respecting, most are clean, no foul language, the front desk very welcoming. The lounge are clean, love the food besides very healthy. The parking lot yes its full at most part but never have encountered an issue with anyone.

Its a gym, so you come to work out and get sweaty. Point blank. But I will say, the place is clean. From the washrooms to the weights to the workout machines. The employees are very friendly and they are very welcoming. You ask them a question and they go out of there way to help you in any way they can. Its a affordable membership and its close to home. No complaints from me.

This is an excellent place for fitness. Very affordable $15 per mth classes included. Free secure parking. Great restaurant with healthy fresh options. Their medical facilities work well in conjunction with the fitness center.They offer a great deal of community support and programs. I love this place. The instructors motivate you and help you reach your goals. The HIT class is the best.

Best local community gym I’ve ever been apart of, since I started my fitness journey.

I have been coming here since about two years ago and I think that this is the only gym I feel most comfortable at. The staff are friendly and helpful, the place is always kept clean, and they have a variety of different classes at flexible hours. I do wish their parking lot was a bit bigger or if they could extend it further because I’ve noticed that it’s becoming more full these days. Regardless, I still always find a parking spot But besides that, I love this fitness center!

This is such a great gym! They have an indoor track, and make the most use of the east side of their 1st and 2nd floor for gym equipment. It is family-oriented which means kids, adults and seniors can all enjoy what this gym has to offer. Because this gym is open to all, the environment is more relaxed and friendly compared to other gym chains. The sauna is the icing on the cake, but the one in the womens locker room is quite small. The hours are limiting, so make sure you try to get here early!

Very clean gym! Theres lots of new machines and weights. They offer a LOT of challenging and motivating classes. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a positive and uplifting gym.

I decided to join Christian center because they have an indoor track. Which is amazing and prepared me for the CPD physical test. And my husband decided to join because of the half basketball court. The member ship for 2 adults was $40 a month. If you add a card to your account they will take off $5 per month which TOTAL to $35 per month. The initial fee was $15. When we first signed up we paid $50, they also have day passed for $5. The price is very reasonable and they have free parking, the staff is nice and helpful, the establishment is very clean and I love their fruitsy smoothies and so much more. This place have everything I am so glad I found them.

This place is pretty cool, the track is freaking awesome, I needed a indoor facility and forgot I have a membership here i never used. Ive ran here every morning for a few days, I have one more week until my CPD test and this place is an idea training facility for the next couple months.Awesome, very clean, friendly, and a little resturante connected. Look forward to finishing my training here.

I discovered Lawndale Christian Fitness Center during the packet pick-up for Lawndale 5K which was where the packet pick-up was located. Instantly, I bookmarked it after noticing how much it offers and its price which mirrors my current membership at Breakthrough FamilyPlex in East Garfield Park neighborhood. The gym itself became an option for me to workout at on Sunday because Breakthrough FamilyPlex is closed on Sunday. It is a bummer if you are a fitness enthusiast because you are subjected to just Monday to Saturday gym workouts only at Breakthrough FamilyPlex.I took advantage of and will most likely continue using Lawndale Christian Fitness Centers $5 day pass option on days like such. You cannot beat a day pass for such a low price at a gym that offers so much. In the past, I have paid prices for a day pass that doesnt offer half of what this fitness center offers. Even though I live a little over 2 miles from the fitness center I have considered making it my permanent fitness center because of its affordable $15 membership cost as well.I about lost it with excitement after walking on the second floor, seeing the machines and equipment for just about any workout you would want to conduct. It certainly makes my current fitness center look like a mini gym in comparison with its selection of weights, machines: treadmill & elliptical, spin bikes; fitness programs and an indoor track which is beautifully designed, taking you around the perimeter of the inner portion of the gym. And it does not stop there because not only does it have flat screen televisions on both workout floors to keep you occupied during or in-between your workouts but televisions in the locker rooms also.Furthermore, prior to leaving Lawndale Christian Fitness Center I discovered Green Tomato Cafe, a cafe that sits in the same building across from the fitness center, offering free Wi-Fi and a selection of food and beverages to choose from. The cafe itself is clean and spacious with a number of tables, seats and an area featuring a couch, giving it that comfortable homely touch for relaxation.As for parking, there is an ample amount suitable for members and guests. The building to the fitness center, Lawndale Christian Health Center has its own lot, plus if it gets congested, there is neighborhood and street parking near, as well. And, if you are one that does not drive, yet familiar with Chicago Transit Authority, the fitness center sits not too far in-between CTA Pulaski & Central Park - Pink Line.In the meantime, Lawndale Christian Fitness Center has contributed to my desire to workout more with everything it offers, times and days it is accessible. I am very grateful it exists and that I live close enough to utilize it on the west-side of Chicago. I highly recommend!Thomas G

This is a really nice gym. The equipment is kept up well, they have a ton of free classes to choose from, very decent locker room and shower facilities, and in general it just feels clean and upbeat.

Love this gym! But.... the stairmasters are always dirty! They need to find a better way to enforce the CLEAN THE MACHINES after you USE them !!! These dirty people most likely wear the same dirty underwear for weeks or months 😂

I like my gym at all. Instskations, disinfecting supplies, and the more important the couch new classes, nee schedule, always the Christian environment.

The instructors dont really seem to know what they are doing. I took a few classes there and informed the instructors that I hadnt worked out in a couple years and one instructor gave me a work out that were way too advanced for me and I had very severe back pain. I also took a zumba class a few weeks later and the instructor for that class was a mess her lessons were all over the place. She didnt let you know what steps she was doing our what was next our even how many of a certain dance move she was going to do. So disappointing. The classes that are offered there was the man reason why i joined

Headed to the lawndale christian fitness center with my 2 kids, ages 10 and 15, as well as invited my adult niece and my 12yr old nephew to meet us there after checking their website. The obvious purpose was to work out with my adult niece, who is not a member and allow the boys to shoot around and play ball in the gym. We were asked the ages of the kids and then told that the 10yr old would not be able to use the gym despite the fact that the website gives no clarity on the limitations that exist with kids & their ages. We asked for a one time accommodation but this request wasnt granted by the manager. The manager suggested we take turns working out or to leave my 10 year old in tomatoe cafe while we worked out, really? What a waste of our time, energy, gas and effort to get a workout in just to be turned away, not given any consideration nor accomodations. The best form of advertising is Word of mouth. You might win some but you just lost one, two, three, and four, my niece and her significant other plus two kids.
