Awesome location! Amazing hospitality. The team behind Just Passing Through are just absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. Really close to the magnificent mile, the lake, and amazing food everywhere!

My stay with Linda was absolutely lovely. I stayed here for 1 month for work. The apartment complex was really cool, i believe it’s an old hotel from the 1920s converted into apartments. The room is very inviting and cozy, the heaters work excellent I never felt cold. The kitchen has all the appliances/ tools you could need and she provides cleaning supplies, plenty of towels and extra sheets. Connected to Netflix and Prime video easily on the TV.There is laundry in the basement- she provided me with a laundry card (reloadable by cash or credit card)- machines are great and up to date. Very nice espresso/coffee machine in the lobby which was a nice treat! The people that work at the building are very nice. There is someone at the front desk 24/7.It is very close to downtown Chicago and restaurants and bars but the street itself feels more like a neighborhood which is what I wanted. Basically across the street from the red line train. When I went to go see downtown I usually walked, but if you wanted to take the train it is so convenient as well. Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants around.Linda is extremely responsive with anything you need! I asked if I could have a mailbox key, as my work was sending me some documents and in less than 24 hours she provided me with the mail key. Very pleasant and care-free experience!

Could not recommend Linda and JPT any more!! Linda was very helpful and responsive, and the apartment was clean and in an absolutely perfect location. Would definitely stay again if I had the chance.

Very convenient location with multiple stores and public transportation nearby. Linda was friendly and always quick to respond to any questions I had. I cant recommend JPT enough!

I lived in a studio at JPT for 6 weeks, Aldi, Jewels and whole foods, walgreens and CVS are all 5 or less mins walk. Clark/Division Red line station is at 2 mins walk, very safe neighborhood, there is 24*7 security at the building and they keep your parcels too! Overall, its a great place to stay.

I stayed here for more than 6 months. The apartment is centrally located in a dated building that’s close to the red line station. Stores like Treasure Island and Target are nearby. Downtown is close if you like walking. You will find tons of eating places nearby. The famous Chicago deep dish pizza (Lou Malnati) is one of the eating joints that’s pretty close.I would recommend this place for short stay in the city. Linda, who is the manager, happens to be very helpful. She will make sure you have everything to make your stay comfortable.

At Just Passing Through you will fell like staying at home. I have used some of their studio and apartments at most of their locations and both location and service are excellent. When I visit Chicago JPT is my first call. Keep up the good work!

Cozy place for short stay. Manager Linda is very helpful and understanding. good location/nice neighborhood/building with multiple grocery shops, nearby target, restaurants, coffee places and public transportation... amenities can definitely be better: cookware worn-had to be buy my own. bed/linen ok at best. old tv, iron, iron table... on flip side cable and fast wifi included. 20 min walk to Northwestern hospital. would stay there again
