Faith Heating & Cooling, specifically Stephen was recommended to me by my HOA after my AC unit started making loud noises. Stephen was amazing. He responded quickly to texts and calls and was able to make it out to my unit within 24 hours. He even came back out the next day as a courtesy. Great service and entirely reasonable prices. I would recommend and use again.

We called Faith Heating at almost 10pm after noticing our AC unit had stopped cooling the house. Steve picked up and was at our unit about an hour later. The response time was unbelievable for a late night issue, and Steve was a model professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem, found a repair that worked for us, and was wonderful about explaining everything along the way. I will absolutely be calling his team for any future issues. Also, the price to have him come look at our unit was far lower than what was offered by the other two companies we called.

I’m a first time home owner that had my AC go out over the weekend. Faith Heating & Cooling was quick to answer my call and came out the next day. Stephen was my technician and he really knew his stuff! He spent the time to explain my entire system to me while doing a full system check. He identified I had a coolant leak and was able to charge the ac up on the spot. We also identified the leak point and he suggesting a preventative measure. The service he provided was exceptional and at a great price, highly recommend!

My AC went out 2 weeks ago during 85 degree weather. Stephen at Faith was the only person and company who answered and didn’t quote me a ridiculous lead time to have my AC unit looked at. Same day Stephen came and refilled my coolant and took the time to explain I had a leak. Stephen was able to recommend a plan to replace my AC at a great price and quick turnaround. What’s even funnier is that Stephen identified a problem within minutes that another company didn’t notice on an annual tune up that I paid a lot of money to have done. What we found was truly a joke and scary I had been breathing that in for the past year. Regardless, Stephen installed a brand new AC condenser, coil, safety switch, and Nest thermostat. Already breathing better and very happy with the job. It’s obvious Stephen knows what he’s doing and enjoyed talking to him and learning about this system during install. I’m having him come back to install a humidifier and UV light to further enhance my system. It’s nice to work with people who put theirselves in the customer shoes and take pride in their work and service. Thank you to Stephen and Faith for this install!

Steven really knows his stuff and he was great at communicating exactly what the issue was that I was having with my A/C and the steps to fix it. An update 1 month later after my service guys. First of all I wanna say in the beginning we thought this was a deal. Little did we know that it was going to be a headache. After our service was done we started having problems within 24 hours of our service. Our heat was not heating up like it should of been so we contacted Stephan to come and please look at it because something was not right. Since then he has made every excuse possible to not come and fix the problem. It’s been almost a month now and our heat is not working properly. If you are planning or thinking of getting service done by this “company” please do not, you will thank me later.

Steve was great our furnace went out. I tried 2 other 24 hr services before I called Steve neither of which answerd. Steve answered on a Saturday night and came with 2 hours to check everything out, that night! He was very informative with what had happened. We ended up replacing our entire furnace for a great price!

I called Faith Heating & Cooling Chicago on a Friday for same-day service and they came over that day to fix our furnace issues! Being a new homeowner and not a great handyman, I wasnt sure what the problem was with our new furnace. These guys came to evaluate the concerns, found out what the problem was, and were able to fix it that day (and for a great price too!). They also provided me details about what they were doing so I could learn for the future. We couldnt be happier with their professionalism, great service, and overall top-quality customer service! We contact Faith heating and cooling for our home air conditioning due to we have another company told us that the unit was bad . Faith came all the way from Chicago to Lake Villa to check our ac unit right away they found the problem and fix it only costing us $250 . The other company was charging $3500 and a new ac unit. I called Stephan Thursday morning. I had a leak in my furnace/condenser outside. Within seven hours on his way to another job Stephan and his apprentice James came over. They were both professional, kind and very polite. I explain the situation and showed them where I found the leak. Within the hour they Welded and put 3 pounds of R22 back into my condenser. They were half the price of all other three companies that I called. To do the same job. I normally don’t write reviews but I found my heating and cooling team “ faith heating and cooling” they did an outstanding job. Responded fast, reasonable price, and took time to explain what he was doing. Our AC stopped working around midnight, so I started calling local HVAC businesses at 7am the next morning. Stephen and his associate were at my house by 9:30 and we had AC up and running within an hour. They were also nice guys who werent trying to push unnecessary jobs/costs on me. Came out last minute to get my furnace fixed which was having issues due to no common wire being installed on my Nest thermostat. Steve and his partner went above and beyond to also address another issue with the blower and included it in the price of the service call. Quick, affordable, and professional, would recommend, especially if youre heat isnt working and its 12 degrees outside!

Steve at one time was an upstanding guy, but now he’s a thief and a liar. He took $1500 from my elderly mother and did not provide the service. He’s been promising for two years and hasn’t come through. Shame on him claiming that he has faith.Just my opinion...LIAR AND A THIEF!!!

Great service. They Came out in -4 Degree weather when my furnace was not working. They troubleshot my furnace and repaired it same day in a timely manner. They had the parts on hand instead of waiting to order them.Very affordable, took there time and explained what is going.

Went with Faith for both help with my heating as well as some small electrical issue I was having in my garage. They were extremely professional and available! Their 24hr service is great as they were able to service my heating at 9pm (which I scheduled 45 mins prior), otherwise I would have had to sleep in the cold. Had an emergency on a Friday night at a building I own with 2 gas leaks and multiple repairs needed. Steve tried very hard to get to us as quickly as he could because Peoples Gas shut off my tenants heat in winter. Long story short, Steve bent over backwards to get the job done, working for us for nearly 10 hours, running around the city for parts, coordinating his time to meet the the Peoples Gas technicians and accommodate their ridiculous requests on the spot including climbing up and down anon the roof to access a furnace and then repair a part that Peoples Gas actually broke on me. Nightmare of an experience with Peoples Gas but thankfully Steve was there to handle them and get us all up and running again... and he did it for a great price. Cant ask for more.

I was referred to Stephen Veach by a friend. He fixed my heating and got it back up and running. No problems there. Then he told me that my water heater needed to be replaced soon. So I bought a new one and he installed it for me. That day I had him look at my oven and he said he knew what piece it needed right away since the stovetop was working, but not the oven. I paid him in advance for the part and labor because this was at my tenant’s home so to save me the hassle of meeting up with him again for payment. Plus I trusted him since he did 2 jobs for me and I was going to use him for more work and refer him to friends. He kept giving me the run around on when he would come back. For several weeks he gave me excuses while my tenants were waiting and expecting it to be fixed and my money was tied up with him. He said things like he didn’t feel safe going to the area when he had already been there a few times. Then would say he knocked and no one answered when the tenants were home and waiting. They wouldn’t lie about that - they wanted it fixed. I have since had other workers sent there with no issues. Turns out when the plumber came he said that Stephen used gas pipes and not water pipes for the top of the water heater and if I don’t fix it soon it will damage my new water heater. I lost $80 to him that I paid in advance for parts and labor for the oven repair with no reimbursement. Do not be too trusting in Stephen. It has cost me more now. Plus I have to pay for the water heater to be fixed again now.

Id been slowly shopping around for a new air conditioning unit & furnace. Neighbor of mine told me about Faith H & C, specifically how great Stephen Veach & his co-worker James were.I contacted Stephen & he came out within 24 hours of my call to give us a proper assessment. He gave us a fantastic price on a new humidifier, air con & furnace that was too good to pass up. Within 3 days they were over installing everything.Simply put, Stephen is your typical Southside, blue-collar, hard-working guy. Both guys had to return a few times to calibrate our furnace & to install the humidifier, which is normal. However, when he targeted a late afternoon arrival to install the humidifier, ,he reached out to me to say his current job was taking too much time. He couldve said, Lets reschedule for tomorrow, like most would. Not these guys. He said that theyd grab a bite to eat, then come over around 7pm - as long as it was fine by us.Sure enough, these guys came over around 7pm, busted their butts, didnt leave until they were done cleaning everything up until 1045pm!Not only did they impress me with their hard-work, but what stuck out was Stephens level of customer service. EVERY time I texted or called him, he would either return my call within an hour, or, text me within a few hours. He was incredibly responsive. Thats so important in this day in age - instead of getting back to someone a day or two later.IF I had any questions, his answers were beyond detailed & thorough.
