Horrible experience. I had been set up on a call to somebody in India for a Network Administration job at an American company for some reason. I wound up speaking with somebody I could barely understand that was asking me Sr. Security questions. They fixed their error and rescheduled. I wanted to just cancel but they kept it scheduled. I did a job in the morning. Noticed it was still scheduled, jumped in the shower, got in front of my computer and it was canceled. Run from this place. Dont walk. Run.

Horrific. I am an IT professional that works with recruiters extensively. 99% of them are top notch professionals that have gone a long way to helping me in my career. Modis Chicago, however, is nothing more than a SPAM company.Ok, to be fair, maybe the company is not, but their recruiter Mark Machacek certainly is. First, he doesnt seem to even know what I do, let alone what jobs I might be interested in - which a good recruiter does so that they are not wasting everyones time. He is completely incompetent from what I can tell. But the real issue is that after repeatedly asking to be removed from his spam list, he continues to send me spam messages about...get this, not just positions that I might not be interested in, but the EXACT SAME position I have told him half a dozen times I am not interested in. I really am starting to believe that Mr. Machacek isnt even a person, but is just a bot.I wouldnt take a call from Modis if it came with a million dollar signing bonus.

These people will contact you about anything all the time....Dont let them get your phone number or email address or youll get a never ending box full of unnecessary emails.
