I recently started looking for a new job. Nicole Kardas, emailed me saying she had an opportunity available with one of her clients.. Normally I wouldnt have thought much of it because I havent had the best luck with recruiters finding me a position. I started looking and realized the position was a great fit. Nicole & I talked back and forth for a bit going over job expectations, etc. Right before my big interview with her client, she did an interview prep which was like 5-10mins. just going over advice she had which was helpful. After I had the interview, I called her and we talked about the interview and I told her I was so nervous about the results. She then got to tell me that I got the job offer from her client! This only happened yesterday believe it or not. That literally was the best news Ive had all week! I start my remote position on Tuesday and am so excited!! Nicole is very talented at her job and very personable!

Terribly unprofessional. I reached out to an AG recruiting manager over a professional website to learn more about an opportunity that was offered by AG. I was left on read and did not hear back even after I sent a short follow up message. Fast forward two weeks, and my work phone and work email are being sent multiple voicemails and messages from the person I tried contacting, completely ignoring my first message to her and straight up asking if I know which talent agency my employer is using and how she can help fill positions at my office. Such a garbage tactic. I politely reached back to this manager via the professional website telling her that I dont know how she even got my work phone number, and that she must stop with the unsolicited calls and emails.

I have been with this company for years. Always have found the recruiter to be helpful and experienced. I love the diversity. I have nothing negative to say. Even with everything 2020 had to offer, I was always kept informed.

Relationship Building Advice: (ps I do do not use your services)Unfortunately I had someone by the name of Molly Saban reach out to me and I she reached out to me to learn more about the revenue cycle..I blocked off time for this out of my work day to speak with her about whatever she was wanting to know. I think this is bad taste if you are going to try and network/build relationships. I am not using your service but feel that if you reach out to me you should keep your word. If I follow back to see why and no response...thats even worse.

Branch Manager horribly unprofessional. Basically told us (the employer) that if we did not use his company to hire a candidate (after he sent an unsolicited resume which is in breach of contract) he would be stealing our employees for his other Clients. Why would anyone work with these people? We will not be. There are plenty of professional agencies out there to use. This apparently is not one of them. If you want to use an agency, I suggest you find one that does not threaten its Clients.

From my experience with Addison Group it has been great to say the least. I had contacted them to inquire about possible employment for assignments as my previous job was being outsourced. I was able to get in contact with a recruiter who understood i needed employment at a reputable place ASAP. I would say about 3-4 days later my recruiter was able to land me a job that I have been satisfied with since day one. Again this is just my personal experience dealing with this recruiting agency. Thanks Addison Group!

Every time I call them, they keep saying the person I am trying to reach is not available and that the person is constantly busy. I emailed and have called multiple times but nothing. If you arent going to respond to emails or phone calls, then why are you doing someone elses job who is willing to help?

Addison Group is the best agency that I have ever worked with by far! Their tag line is that they aim to make business personal again and in my experience they have. At my first interview they were there to greet me and give extra resumes just in case and to be a support. They also met with me over lunch to see how things were going. No other agency does that.Just recently at the end of my contract period, Dan Miller called to ask about my timesheet and I had not worked for the week because my mother just passed away after battling cancer and I just hadn’t had time to communicate. Today I just received a beautiful flower bouquet and message from Addison Group. No one else does that! These human touches and the fact that they helped me land a dream of a contract job which has now transitioned to permanent full time where I am extremely happy with the people at my new company and with the pay, make Addison Group a class act.

Worked with them for eleven months at a rate below my usual which was fine initially but I discussed a pay increase with three different representatives and they all statedthat the issue would be broached at the end of the initial contract year. So it was somewhat shocking to me that when it was time to discuss a pay increase, no one would speak with me on the issue. I made several attempts to get a straight answer but was always passed along to another person because the original person was no longer with the company. I quickly began to see this as an excuse on their part to avoid the issue of pay increase that was discussed earlier. Furthermore, one month before my contract was due to expire. I received another contract offer at the same rate. I kindly explained that I was not comfortable signing on another full year at the current contract rate but I also explained that I would continue to work with them while they found me a position more in line with my skill set and rate expectations. However, shortly after that email correspondence, my contract was all of a sudden terminated. I will never work with this staffing agency again due to their lack of professionalism in dealing with the issue. I actually researched their rates compared to other staffing agencies rates and their rates were consistently lower for all assignments across the board. They just are not equipped to deal with professionals that possess a higher skill set than the average job seeker.

Representatives from this company keep reaching out to me about positions. Whenever I tell them I’m interested, we schedule a phone call and they seem to always forget. There’s also no follow-up from them. Horribly unprofessional. I told one of the representatives that I no longer need their services, yet they manage to call me at least once a month. I want them to leave me alone and they won’t stop.

99.9% of recruiters are terrible. These guys belong to the 99.9%. I had a recruiter contact me on linkedin wanting me to look at a job that would have been 10 steps backward and 1/3 the pay. On top of that they wanted me to relocate to a Texas border town. They clearly only search for candidates based on a keyword and do not read profiles of candidates to see if theyre a match. Either they dont read profiles or they truly do not understand the industries theyre trying to recruit for which is even worse. Ignore these guys if they message you.

BEWARE: These scammers asked me for my references, my facebook, all social networks and as much info as I could give them. After 6 weeks they still have not gotten me even one interview with their client and cannot prove that they even have direct contact with hiring manager. They just get your info to spam people and sell it to others.

My feelings about AG are rather mixed. A few years ago, I was contacted by Carrie Collins, one of the best recruiters Ive ever worked with. Polished and professional, she was instrumental in my landing an excellent job, that was a perfect match with my experience and expectations. If you ever have the opportunity to work with her, youll be incredibly pleased.Fast forward to present days, I was contacted by what was undoubtedly someone in the very early days of their recruiting career (which was obvious by their LinkedIn profile). Over the phone, she presented an opportunity that seemed to be a somewhat relevant match. We went through the notions, (why did you leave, what did you make, what are you looking for, where, etc.) and since everything (including pay) seemed to be somewhat in line, we set up a Skype interview. What many junior recruiters obviously dont understand is that the interview goes both ways. Just as they are trying to get a feel for the kind of candidate I am, I am trying to get a feel for the kind of recruiter they are, and if their company, and their approach will be positively instrumental in the advancement of my career. Inexperienced, unprofessional, and borderline rude, this young woman was impatient, was fidgeting all the time, she kept interrupting, appeared highly annoyed and uninterested, and did not listen to the answers to any of the questions she asked. It was not only clear that her attention was elsewhere, but also that her and mine experience were grossly mismatched. Even though I had sent her my resume, showing many years of solid experience at a senior level, she was treating me as if I were 22, fresh out of college, and looking for my first professional job. And, to be fair, there are many people looking for that kind of job, but it should have been clear that this wasnt me. As a recruiter, one of the first things you do is assess the qualification and the professional experience of a candidate, and if you realize that youre way out of your league, perhaps pass them onto a senior recruiter, instead of asking them to lower their expectations (both for the job, and for the pay). Yes, what I am looking to do, and what Im asking to be paid is more than the kind of jobs youre recruiting for offer, but please dont lure me with a phony offer for a job that doesnt exist so you can fill in your daily quota of phone calls. Do you really think Id take half of what I make and go back 10 years in my career? No. I wont take such a job, and you wont make your commission, so its a waste of everyones time.I dont think illustrating how unprofessional she appeared to be with further examples is necessary, but suffice to say... I would not trust this person with my professional career, and would be hesitant with a firm that is staffed with such recruiters. The way she represents her company is likely indicative of the overall quality of her/their work. So, an otherwise wonderful career opportunity could be completely botched by an inexperienced, unprofessional recruiter.

This firm contacted me for an alleged match for an open position. After asking some questions I was not interested and chose not to follow up. However, they kept my information and have been calling me every week to try and get me to use their employees. I would never do business with any company who uses these sort of bait and switch tactics. Despicable.

I was contacted for a job interview while transitioning from Texas to Chicago. I’m also a disabled veteran which they had no idea about even though it’s part of the hiring paperwork, I was getting paper checks because my bank is ONLY in Texas and had to wait for my voided check required for direct deposit. So I get my first check, Labor Day comes, my 2nd check is 2 weeks late, and when I called payroll they had someone else’s info in mine, a few weeks later I’m waiting again 2 weeks for my check , and I quit because I was unable to travel without borrowing money to travel, well this Wednesday the recruiter called to ask if I wanted my check to available for pick up Friday , I get there and my check was mailed out Thursday , Friday I’m told my grandma died and now I can’t go see her because of them. Truly awful moral integrity and communication , this is one of the worst companies I’ve ever had the displeasure of working for!

Horribly unprofessional company. I was contacted out of the blue by one of their recruiters. As a technician who has been in the computer fixing business for 16 years I found her highly annoying when she offered a basic help desk job where the only high point was trouble shooting Microsoft Office 2010 (a rather trivial job to do) and kept stressing and asking me over and over again about Microsoft Office experience. When 2 year olds are using videogames and computers nowadays like professionals, do you really think a 24 year old in the computer business somehow doesnt know how to use Microsoft Office?!?! I raise my tone a bit to show annoyance and simply say Im proficient in ALL versions of Microsoft Office. Things went fine and we set up an interview. The next day I was in the area so I rescheduled the interview for that day. I specifically told the recruiter in the email that Id be a keynote speaker at an event from 2-3:30pm that was around the corner from her. This clueless person schedules the interview for EXACTLY 3:30 then calls me at 3:36 while Im still at the event and leaves a voicemail message with an attitude saying I thought you said you were going to be here at 3:30?!? Its now 3:37. Im like wow how unprofessional especially when I said the event ended at 3:30 not I could be there at 3:30. So I show up at 3:45 after calling her back. The front desk people had an attitude towards people calling, watching them was hilarious especially when they would mouth off about their clients right in-front of a potential client. Around 3:55 the recruiter, Alexis shows up with her boss Alison. We go into the room. Immediately my resume is dissected and Im reduced to nothing, but a candidate number, years of experience, and field of interest. It was totally demeaning and not personal at all. Then, the recruiter tells me the position they originally wanted me for was bsing them so they tossed it aside for now. Even though I rose above and beyond at my former company to be pretty much a manager within a short period of time of 2 years, they told me straight up that they would only put me in Jr. Help Desk position roles (internships pretty much). After they fumbled through potential jobs as they clearly dont know IT, they eventually realized it was too techy for them and brought in a guy more tech capable. This guy tries to demean me even more after offering a pointless position that has nothing to do with desktop support and more of administration. Not only that, but he has the nerve to get angry and try to put me down when I mention my IQ by blatantly lying to his co-workers by saying my IQ was barely above normal when if you look at the range Im way past normal and recognized in the state as one of the smartest people living here. I try to be professional, roll my eyes while grinning and glance over at his co-worker while hes trying to explain this job as if its the hardest thing in the world to administrate Sharepoint when a 10 year old can do it. I eventually take control of the conversation after the guy loses his cool and his co-worker kinda enamored at the things I brought up, I tell her to just email me the job descriptions and she promptly agrees to then I leave.I emailed her back later on explaining myself more and how I attained the level I was at and why I can confidently do what I do. Its been a day and still havent heard anything yet. Avoid this company like the plague. They are totally unprofessional and have no idea what theyre doing. I get recruiters calling me 24/7 from companies that are way better. Just check out the horrible Yelp reviews and youll see what Im talking about.
