Is the ultimate professional and surrounds himself with capable and very kind staff and assistants.The office is inviting with the smell of fresh coffee as you walk inside. Insurance, treatment plans, prices and referrals are dealt with in a clear and concise manner.Most importantly Dr. J. is a gentle, experienced and the consummate professional in his field. Everyone was friendly and the hygienist didn’t give me a hard time for not having my teeth cleaned during Covid !Dr. Paige was professional, knowledgeable, and answered my questions with specific and understandable facts.

This is my third dentist practice in the last seven years due to employers insurance changing - but I hope its my last! They have taken great care of me in the few times that I have been to the office. Dr. Jercinovic is a great dentist. He has done crowns and filling for myself and my daughter. We’ve had cleanings done there also. I highly recommend him and the office. All the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Obsessed with trying to sell a $600+ night guard, and to people that dont even need it. I was able to get a custom made one for $200. Even though I told them to stop selling it to me and that I had purchased one, they were still trying to convince me their custom one is better. My friend was told she needed one because one tooth had been ground down over 4 years and was miraculously identified when she had no work left to be done to her teeth.

Dr. J has a great patient oriented way about him. He and his staff did a nice job of making me comfortable during and after my dental work. Definitely worth it, I am now a committed patient with Halsted.

I’ve been sitting on a dentists chair for over 10 years and trying to find the best doctor and treatment for my problems with teeth and gums. I honestly never felt as welcomed as with Dr. J and his team. Mainly, I didn’t experience ANY type of pain, immediate recovery, and real and easy treatment. Wonderful experience, I highly recommend it!

Dr. J is the best. I’ve been going to him for 5 years but was blown away today. He for one is an incredible doctor, but his care for patients today showed in all his PPE for COVID. I’d be willing to put his office up against anyone in the city pertaining to sterility. The city has no requirements but he went and got air purifiers, aerosol capturing devices, and these masks that go above any N95 mask. Truly speaks to how much he cares about his patients.

Had a dental emergency once and they got me in immediately. I used to hate going to the dentist as a kid. But now, going to Halsted Street Dental, I love it.

Everyone, even the dentist, was kind, comforting, easy to understand and willing and able to answer questions. Plus the lighthearted humor level helped a lot. I am even willing to deal with the stairs.

The staff was great and super welcoming. This would be my 2nd time coming here and every time I would leave I was in so much pain. The girl cleaning my teeth was super aggressive and I have a high pain tolerance. This was my last visit.

A lot of added equipment, protective coverings, and cleaning to make sure everything was safe before, during, and after your visit. Appointment was on time, the hygienist was knowledgeable and efficient, and Dr. Jercinovic was very friendly and asked multiple times if I had any other questions he could answer or explain. The front desk was also very helpful in explaining the treatment plan and showing me the costs associated with my specific insurance.

Came here for the first time for a cleaning and was told I had 7 cavities. This was surprising to me as I regularly get my teeth cleaned (twice a year) and have never had a cavity before. I went to get a second opinion and was told I didnt have any cavities. Disappointed that they were just trying to get money out of me.

I had my first appointment at Halsted Dental this afternoon and was very impressed with the quality of service. Dr. Widen is extremely nice and enjoyable to be around, but more importantly, he is a great dentist. For a 6 month check-up and teeth cleaning session, he went above and beyond what I expected. I left the appointment with clean teeth and a lot of good tips/advice on keeping my teeth healthy going forward.I highly recommend Halsted Dental and Dr. Widen.Bonus: A lot of cool technology in the office: you can see the inside of your mouth on a big screen TV and Dr. Widen walks you through everything - fascinating!

Ive been seeing dr. j for about 3 years now- at first i hadnt gone to the dentist in a long time so i was very nervous but the hygienists and dr. j were nothing but comforting. i ended up having a handful of cavities that thankfully were covered by my insurance and even after a couple adjustments i still continue to go back every 3 months (i have a permanent retainer that needs regular maintenance). ive referred a couple of friends as well who have also had great experiences and theyve referred others too. Renee is my girl, she is fast and efficient with my cleanings and doesnt hassle me anymore than the usual flossing consistency. Lauren is also very knowledgable and deals with all the insurance stuff. i strongly recommend

Great experience. The staff is very kind.

Obviously no one really likes going to the dentist, but as far as dentists go, this ones top-notch. The receptionists are really nice, and the waiting room (in which I rarely wait long due to some super-timely dentistry) isnt too sterile. Usually when Im there, Im the only person in the waiting room, which is good, because it tells me they dont over-book. Also, I like the hygienists--one in particular, I think her name is Amanda, is particularly awesome due her no-nonsense demeanor. Dr. Jercinovic is a cool guy too--seems pretty down to earth. Plus, he uses some futuristic laser tool to find cavities in your teeth. Honestly, everything seems to be pretty updated and modern, and I got to watch my personal hero, the Barefoot Contessa, while I got a cavity filled.I realize this review makes me sounds like some crazy dentist person, but this place needed more good reviews!

Staff is nice and friendly. Havent had any problems being overcharged, as suggested by another reviewer. Late times are nice too, Im able to get 6pm appointments.

Did a filling and a crown there. The filling still hurts when I brush, the crown is whiter then the rest of my teeth. My tooth is still irritated, a year later after the crown has been placed.
