The doctor is awesome! Always takes care of my kids needs. Im giving a 4 because I felt a bit of hostility from the staff when I tried to go to the room with my child. I thankfully was allowed. Very happy with the service and my kids love their dentist.

The staff is completely incompetent, when I asked for my appointment I had to wait 30days. I was ok with it due to covid it’s completely understandable, my pain level was at a 3 I asked if I needed more medication would I be able to get more, I waited a week to even fill that prescription once the pain intensified I called to ask about a refill at this time no one is aware of why someone would say that when they won’t do that unless I see a dentist in October. It’s insane how the staff speaks over you and has no regard or care for my issue. I understand it’s little village and there ignorant, but show some compassion for your own ppl. I won’t be coming here again. This was my childhood dentist office what a shame.

Never a dissatisfying moment whenever I visit 1st Family Dental. The staff is always friendly and take pride in doing the job making the facility safe for not only them but each patient as well. The doctors let’s you know what the good and bad when it comes to caring for teeth and that is greatly appreciated because I need each tooth that I have without losing any. Marco, the assistant was great. He really was careful. and took extra time to make sure everything was in order. Dr. Albert Abboud, as always, was very professional.

1st Family is not my regular dentist, but my temporary crown, just put in two days ago, came out on a Friday night, and my regular dentist is not open on Saturday. So I called 1st Family on Saturday morning to explained the situation, and they scheduled me to see a dentist 40 minutes away. I spent 30 minutes filling out the 1st Family paperwork, drove the 40 minutes, and was finally brought into an exam room. Only then did they tell me that they were refusing to re-install my temporary crown because it was not originally installed by 1st Family. So I will be in pain for two more days until I can see my regular dentist. Very negative experience. I will not consider 1st Family for any future appointments.

Nice folks, and quality drama shows on the television. Cant think of a better place to get my mouth parts fondled.

I really love this dentist office. Ive never had a bad experience here. The dentists and nurses ALL have great bedside manner and make you feel comfortable and at ease.

Loved this Dentristy! My kids felt very comfortable ages 10 && 2. It was my 2 year old first visit ever and he did so well and did just what the dentist was asking him to do! She made him feel safe and super comfortable! She was patient friendly && explained every one of her tools to him! Will definitely keep my kids here and I look forward to my appointment! ☺️

Always great atmosphere, attitude and customer service

The staff was really nice from the beginning. Every time I would call with a question, they always answered super friendly and fast! They were all really nice. The dentist was knowledgeable and the girl who did my teeth cleaning was nice. I will come back to this dentist!

Great first visit!

I got my braces here and the staff is great. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who did my routine cleanings and adjusted my braces because she was the best! I was there with my daughter when I got my braces removed and she was so friendly to my kid while we waited for my retainer and even held my daughters hand and walked us to the door when it was time to go. Shes the reason why I always recommend this location to people.

I went for an appointment today and arrived on time, but did not recieve any treatment. I was told by the assistant to wait for the doctor to finish with the current patient, and that I would see the doctor shortly. I laid waiting on the stool in the treatment room for over an hour and never heard from the doctor or assistant. I did not want to wait any longer, so I walked out and went to the front desk to reschedule my appointment. What a waste of time. I will seek a new dental practice this upcoming year.

After years of not visiting a dentist, I worked up the courage to try this place out due to the positive reviews I saw here! My time there went pretty smooth aside from my nerve wrecking anxiety I had anyway, Id like to say that Marisol was very comforting. I have a very sensitive gag reflex and she was patient with me every step and I was very comfortable thanks to her, she accommodated me in every request I asked of her. The dentist himself seemed to be that of straight to the chase, explained everything to me upfront, the dental work, process, etc. The atmosphere was kind and didnt feel like a chore to be there. Definitely felt proud of myself today and it was due to the great service here.

I came in for a check up (toothache) they have very friendly service and they were very patient to listen to what I had to say and what my concerns were and were very good at explaining exactly what I needed. Also took precautions with covid which was great.

Since you walked in to the office, the staff member are so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Velano is really nice. he calm my fear and acted with care. Marisol is the dentist assistant and she make me feel comfortable before the procedure. I recommend this place to my friends and family.

I have always enjoyed my experience at 1st Family Dental. I was scheduled for a clean and x-rays and both services were great. The dentist was very professional and answered all my questions, and the assistant was also very nice and respectful. The only inconvenience was that I was scheduled for a specific time and even though I arrived early to the office, I waited about 40 minutes for my appointment. Usually, my scheduled appointments are always on time but I guess that day they were extra busy.

Everyone very friendly and they do a wonderful job. I wont go anywhere else but here.

I couldnt have had a better experience at 1st family dental! After having unbearable toothaches I was referred to 1st family by my mother. I walked in on a Saturday expecting the receptionist to be rude because I didnt have an appointment but instead I was greeted happily and the receptionist told me they could see me although it was last minute. I was seen almost immediately even though I did not have an appointment. The dentist is very attentive and provides alot of detail. I am also amazed with the customer service that the other staff members provide as well. I truly appreciated the followup call after my root canal. Thanks so much 1st family dental!!!

I had a cavity refilled. The filling started to come out within as week and after about a month I have much bigger whole than before because the dentist had to drill more to put the filling in. Dental assistants are also unprofessional and they talk too much and dont listen to patients. They talk in Spanish and laugh loud in front of non-Spanish speaking patients. But I do understand enough Spanish and I understood they were making fun of me.

Even though the tooth extraction was not the best experience because...well, I dont know if it ever could be, the overall experience with 1st Family staff was amazing. I came to the office for a last minute appointment after horrible tooth pain. They were able to get me in within an hour of calling and completed a cleaning & tooth extraction. Dr. Abboud and Marisol the dental assistant were very comforting and seemed genuinely concerned with my comfort. I would recommend this office to anyone. I cant say how grateful I am for their patience with me. I will be going back whenever I need dental services.

Ive been a patient here since 2006 so it was a no-brainer where to bring my son for his first dental appointment. Today was his third 6 month check-up and I was expecting his usual toddler fiasco when he has to do something hed rather not do. Not so! Perla, the dental assistant, had him showing her how he brushes his teeth, and then was bushing them for him so smoothly even I didnt quite realize it had happened. Actually, Im going to try her technique at home because it really worked to get him more engaged in his brushing routine! Then Dr. Velano came in and completed his exam and check up. My sons visit was done and he was on his way to get his balloon and prizes. Its so nice to see an office and staff that have been there for years, and still love their jobs. It really is a great place for the whole family!
