I went to this location when Verizon said that I would have to buy a replacement phone because my charger port wouldn’t charge. The techs at this location were very professional. They did a free diagnostic, and deep cleaned my charger port, which fixed the issue completely. I highly recommend going to this location for all of your phone/electronic repair needs. They were extremely knowledgeable and happy to help.

I had the most awful experience. I took in my Google Pixel 3a in to get a cracked screen repaired. There were no other issues with the phone. When I got the phone back from the shop, the new screen didnt work properly. The screen registered fantom touches and kept popping open the quick settings pull down whenever I tried to do something. I immediately I took the phone back to the shop, and they said they would run diagnostics on it. After picking the phone up a second time from the shop, it was completely dead. They claimed there was water damage, and they did not take responsibility for breaking my phone. I was forced to go purchase a new phone. On top of it all, they were supposed to refund me for the initial screen repair, however, the associate claimed he couldnt do it because the manager wasnt in that day. Im now out hundreds of dollars because of this experience. Not only was I not compensated for the phone, I was also not refunded for the botched screen repair job, and I wasted hours going to and from the shop and waiting around for the repair to be completed. Dont take your devices here.

The person at the front counter was quite rude, I left my phone with him and never got a call telling me it could not be fixed. They claim that Samsung requires all components working. For follow-up to this, please see uBreakiFix Schaumburg.

They told me I needed to replace my screen to fix my Face ID issue which would cost around $400. I replaced the rear camera for $50 and it worked.A better name would be UbreakiRipoff.

Main Issue: When my Google Pixel was returned to me after the battery was replaced, there was a slight bend in the phone.The technician pointed this out to me and said not to push down on it to straighten it out because that would crack the screen. The problem is that I dont think the bend was there when I dropped off my phone. The technician who took it in didnt say anything about it when he took it from me and looked at it, and I had never noticed it because I keep it in a very sturdy Otterbox case. My best guess is that it was bent when the battery was being replaced, but I cant prove this, which is frustrating. I know that parts of the phone breaking are possible because they make sure they have a space screen on hand in case the existing one breaks during repairs.Secondary issue: It took a day longer than they said it would for the repair to be completed. I had to call in the day it was supposed to be done because I hadnt gotten any updates on the repair.The work they did was good, but the fact that I think they bent my phone and the fact that it took an extra day without them giving me an update the day it was supposed to be completed are why this is 3/5 stars instead of 5/5.

This place is great I have the zfold 2 and the outer screen cracked and needed to be replaced the part had some issues registering to my phone which they worked to resolve they were friendly and polite. I didnt feel like just another number to them I would definitely recommend and use this place in the future

Dont sign up for their protection program!I brought my xbox to this locations on 08/10---- guy calls me oh it looks like its fine it just needs us to clean out the fan we will do that for free if you sign up for a month.08/11---- oh your xbox has no sign of life and isnt under our warrantee, but you can buy a used one from us.Im upset and told the rep yesterday they said it worked fine. Later that they called me back... we found the issue, you can come back and pick it up! Brought it back home, immediately has the same issues as before.If you want to charge me 30 bucks for running diagonistics fine. Tell me you cant fix it. Dont waste my time. Dont get me to sign up for a scam monthly protection program that I know you wouldnt keep your word on. I wish there were more honest business around, this experience makes me sad.

Worst service Ive ever experienced in my life! I got my phone fixed, then had to get it fixed again under warranty, then when I came to get it fixed a 3rd time (since it STILL hadnt been properly fixed), this store had me wait over two days, once for multiple hours within the same day. Eventually, I cracked it walking down their staircase. Even though it was the same fix I needed under the warranty, they said my warranty was no longer good. Not only that, they were rude and unhelpful. I called everyone I could at UBreakIFix but their franchise structure basically puts each individual store in charge. This has costed me thousands of dollars of business and my phone is much worse than when I first went to get it fixed. Awful service! Expensive! I DO NOT recommend!

I was conned into purchasing an asurion subscription with the lure of getting a discount on my phone repair. I was told that the subscription would be easy to cancel. Months later with over $200 deducted from my account, the discount originally promised me has wasted so much more money. Im a busy mom and not technologically savvy, which I came to you for help for it the first place... Horrible customer service and would never recommend this business to anyone.

I brought my Samsung phone to get the back glass replaced after it got crushed under a car. They fixed it and made sure the motherboard & camera were not damaged as well. The staff were super nice and my phone was fixed good as new in 2 hours. So happy I didnt have to buy a new phone!

I took my PlayStation to get fixed and had to send it back 3 times they took my money and instead of refunding me they insist I let them try again it’s been 3 months and I brought a new PlayStation for cheaper than they are charging me to fix it. Disappointing, Ive had my Note 10 Plus screen replaced 2 times now with UBIF on Clark. Both times they replaced the front screen and didnt say anything about the small crack in the back glass or the missing S pen. Unfortunately they were out of stock so I called the clybourn location. They have it in stock they quoted me $279 where the other locations quoted $307. I fly over there on my lunch break just to drop it off. The guy at the counter stated I will need to have the back screen and S Pen replaced because Samsung wont certify it. ITS NOT UNDER WARRANTY! They refused to do a screen replacement because I ddidntwant to buy an S Pen from them for @$100 and new back screen for an additional $100. I will admit he offered me $50 off on the S pen. BUT Samsung sells them direct for $29.99. Dont be fooled by the $30 savings they will get it and more out of you some how.I have reached out to Samsung who confirmed if the device is not under warranty I am free to have only the front screen replaced with the understanding that they can not certify it.

Had a screen repaired on Friday with a warranty. The phone never worked correctly, I brought it back on Monday and was told they would not honor the warranty for repair it. The phone looks perfect. Would never recommend anyone use this location.

My iphones battery has swelled and already damaged some parts of cellphone. I tried to repair it in BestBuy(Apple Authorized Repair), but they told me its unrepairable and they will not let his guys to touch my phone. My cellphone has very important data inside. uBreakiFix was kind for me. He repaired my phone and made it work. Hes job is better than Apple Authorized Repair.

In short: My 4 hour repair turned into a 3 day project. The only reason it is 2 stars is because the device was finally repaired and GREAT customer service by Liam and the manager Matthew. The issue lies with the operating procedures at UBreakIFix across the board and most likely not this solo location. Hopefully this was a one off issue at this location so best of luck.If you want to read the full story this is what I sent in to Samsung:This was the worst experience I have ever had with any technology company. I dropped my phone off at UBreakIFix in Chicago on Cyborne on 01/09/21. They called me that evening to tell me that they did not have the parts for my phone and couldnt complete the repair for 3 days. I requested to pick it up and take it to a different location that could complete the repair in a more timely manner. I picked up the device and set an appointment for a different UBreakIFix in LaGrange, IL. I dropped off my phone on 01/10/21. I called the store on 01/11/21 to check on the device. They notified me that the vibration motor and some miscellaneous screws were missing from the device and they wanted to charge me approx. $80 additional to order new parts. I reminded the assistant manager at the store that the phone was recently at a different location and prior to that has never been taken apart. From this point in time, there were a series of calls to both locations to find my missing pieces and figure out a new time line for the device. This was the WORST repair service I have ever received. After speaking with both managers and figuring out why my device was missing pieces, the LaGrange location began work on my phone, notifying me that the device would be repaired by the end of the day on 01/11/21. At the end of their day, after no communication, I called the store again to get an update. They informed me that they took the device apart and repaired it, but that the new piece from Samsung was defective... WOW! They had a new pieces shipped in the next day and successfully repaired the phone. The repair ended up taking 3 full days instead of 3 hours. The experience not only wasted my time but was a series of communicating with a plethora of mediocre employees with little to no experience problem solving issues. Samsung should seriously consider looking into BOTH locations and reviewing the operating policies through your only authorized dealership....

I was desperate. After an injury, I dropped my phone in water, and then to add insult to injury, I got rice in the charging port of my phone. They cleaned it up and got me charging in minutes. So kind and patient when I was frazzled.

They were very helpful, courteous, professional, and quick!

Really impressed by their straight forward, and expedited service. Called expecting to have to make an appointment in order to repair the cracked glass on the rear of my Pixel 3. Was told they had the parts in stock and that it could be done that day. Dropped off the phone a little after 2pm, and had it back in hand at 5pm looking brand new.Thanks Liam for the fantastic experience!

Personnel on this location are improperly trained when it comes to Pixel devices. Poor advices and are not aware of Google extended warranty. Even the manager is not aware of it. So if you owned a Pixel phone take your device elsewhere.

My computer is in worse shape now than when I dropped it off and currently wont even turn on. even after I told them exactly what was wrong the staff completely misdiagnosed the problem. When I told them of this they performed a cursory second look which lasted about 3 minutes and would have required opening the laptop. They clearly never looked inside. Then they stated that they couldnt find the required parts to fix the issue (I found them on Amazon within 5 minutes but thats cool, it isnt the part thats actually broken). In short this repair took too long, the tech didnt actually look at the right part of the computer to fix it, gave poor advice on my next steps, and when I picked up my laptop the battery had been forced into place and was bending the laptop casing out of place. The tech didnt even know how to properly attach a battery let alone how to identify or fix my machine. It was a complete disappointment with an infuriating conclusion that took far too long. I have zero confidence that this place can handle anything beyond the simplest of tasks.

Excellent experience. My google pixel charger wasnt staying in the port, making charging very difficult (had to align everything just right). I used compressed air to clean it myself, but that didnt work. I thought that I had to get a port replacement to resolve my issue. As such, I brought my phone in Sunday when uBreakiFix just opened, the technician was able to help me right away, and fixed it no charge (ended up being additional lint in the charging port I wasnt able to remove myself with compressed air).

These guys are the best! They were able to fix my laptop with minimal time and excellent communication. The location was easy to find with good hours. I will definitely use them again!

Found out the day of my appointment (which i booked 1 week in advance) that i had been double booked. No call, no email, no text to tell me this. Best they can do is reschedule me for 2 weeks later? By far the worst experience Ive had to deal with. Not my fault you double booked, why should i now have to wait another 2 weeks when Ive already waited 1.5 weeks?! 👎🏼

Have used this location on several occasions and am usually happy with their service. I made an appointment a week ago to replace the back glass on my phone. Went in at the agreed time today and was told since there some minor knick on the edges they would only work on the phone if they change the entire front and rear glass and battery. Anticipating a $60 repair and being pushed into a $350 repair was not palatable to me. Respnse from representative.....so sorry. We try to explain on the phone but sometimes ...... The issue is we are all busy and when making an appointment, leaving work to drive 30 minutes and be let down is not good for anyone.

The guys at this location were super professional, walked me through the whole process, kept me informed about progress (was a busy day and they squeezed me in anyway). I had never used a cell phone repair place before and honestly wasnt sure what to expect but these guys were really on top of it.

Cracked the screen on my galaxy S10 and had it repaired. The guys at the clybourn location are great. Quick and professional. The only thing I had an issue with was the price of repair (almost half the cost of a new phone)...but it is what it is.
