Ive been going to this currency for 30 years I go there because they can get things done correctly when you speak to them especially Gloria or Maria both have a lot of attention to detail I consider them family theyve helped me out plenty they are truly good friend of mine and I consider them family

I absolutely despise this currency! They are always extremely rude & unfriendly. Nothing has changed in years. Ill never understand how they are still in business.

My mom renewal the city sticker in August. Due to the COVID/lock down back in March, she is not able to get renewal during that time, and the city already announced the late fee will be waived. My mom asked to get a two years city sticker renewal, and after she got the the sticker, she realized it is only good for one year, but they charged her more money than a year, so she went back and talk to the staff and see if she gave her the wrong one by mistake. Because she speak limited English, they told her that the charges was right, then I went to talk to the staff again, and all she said was there was a $60 late fee, and I told them that the city announced late fee was waived, but she responded with only the Illinois license plate renewal was waived, then I showed them the city website with the information said the late fee was waived. The staff just responded that she can’t do anything with it. So I drove to the city clerk office, and they told me that there was no late fee that the city collect, and is the currency exchange took the the money. I think this location staff was not helpful and this is very disappointing. I used to go to this location for many things because it is just a block away from my house. I am not recommending this place and I will go to other currency exchange from now on.

Had to get a city sticker for my college student... We reside in Michigan and our son is a 4th year college student whom we moved off campus when COVID hit in April. His dad and I finally decided to let him have one of our older vehicles which we took to him on October 10th. The first time he went to the exchange they wanted copies of apartment lease and car title. When he went with copies, he texted me that the employee seemed confused. So I called them while he was there and here’s the rip off... $168 for 6 months including a $60 late fee!!!!! Late fee because they didn’t take my word for it that he received vehicle on 10/10??? They went by apartment lease date even though he didn’t have the car until October!!!! Then I was told only a 6 month sticker was available because the names on car title (dad and me) don’t match the names on our son’s apartment lease (duh, we don’t live there). The gal I spoke to just kept blaming it on the city of Chicago when I said this is highway robbery... THEY NEVER USED THE TITLE/LEASE PAPERWORK AND SAID THOSE ITEMS ARE NOT NECESSARY AFTER BEING TOLD A DIFFERENT STORY LAST WEEK!!! This place seems full of excuses to charge as much as possible. Ive been using this currency exchange for years and years, everyone has always been professional and helpful. I dont understand all the negative reviews. They must be from spoiled people who dont feel they have to wait for service and are entitled... Who knows? I think theyre great. Rob W

Service was particularly bad, especially for the women who work in the middle seat. Even if I lived near here, I wouldnt go there again. I will choose another location

I got there at 3:55 pm and the lady said we are closed, they supposed to close at 4pm. This is not professional.

I came here to get a city sticker for my car. The location is convenient for any Bridgeport residents and I was able to complete my mission, getting an 18 month sticker for about $145.Be aware that it may take some time to complete your transaction. There were two people ahead of me in line and it took quite some time for the sole employee to help them out while simultaneously working with a customer on the phone.If its hot out, be prepared to get sweaty. Theres no air conditioning!

Webpage says they have foreign currency but when i called they said NO

Visited this currency exchange to make 2 money order, had a coupon from their establishment for free of charge up to 10 MOs. I was given one free but charged for the 2nd one. When I question it, the supervisor, who refused to give me her name, repeated they were only given one free and they no longer accept them. The coupon stated it expired June of 2019. The supervisor was very rude, obnoxious and very disrespectful. It was not so much for the fee of the coupon, but it was for the principle. Why do they offer coupons when they are not going to honored them?. I tried calling a Mr. David Barr the president of the that establishment, however the number coincides with the same place. By the reviews of this place, seems like theres not much to be expected. .Date visited: Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019 @ 11:30 AM Supervisor refused to give her full name, only Maria but thats questionable.

Horrible service charge me 650 for title transfer and two week later sent me letter saying that I didnt pay them taxes. Try to do everything to rip peoples money. When I bring the receipt the lady get more angry and no apologies.

One of the worst currency exchanges in Chicago went there today to get a vehicle for a new car I bought went there with the registration and my drivers license was told I needed the bill of sale or the W 2 form which I went back home and got and went back and gave them the paperwork they said they needed too complete the transaction to be told I had to go to a city facilitie to complete the transaction I told the girl who told me about the paperwork why she didnt tell why she didnt tell me this before I made the second trip back and didnt get a reply what a shame this business has such bad employees.Im definitely done doing business with this currency exchange the city should not be using them as an agent

They take a lot of fee for sticker and for debet card (10$), rude staff, long lines -avoid that place
