Just wanted to say thanks! Great service can be hard to find especially when you need help quickly. From ease of scheduling to communicating with the company and the plumbers assigned to my house, the experience was prompt and professional. I was a little doubtful at first. I had reached Power Plumbing through Plumbers911, and the overnight answering service they used was unhelpful and a little rude.Luckily when Ray called back the next day, things were dramatically better. Bob was able to help out later that afternoon and was extremely friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to explain what he was doing and instructed me on how to do some basic servicing and repairs of my own. Im glad I was able to find them, and Ill definitely be calling them in the future with any plumbing needs.

This place is a gem, and their office staff Rhea is so lovely. We had a couple big issues this summer and have been so frustrated with other providers, but this company was always quick and thorough and nice.

I first used the service of Power Plumbing over 10 years ago. They were recommended by the company who serviced my kitchen cabinets. I had always wanted a dishwasher and had been told by 3 different plumbers that it couldnt be done because of the location of my pipes.Jason from Power Plumbing came to my home and stated calmly, It can be done. In the 8 years that I had that dishwasher I never had a problem. And so when I decided to upgrade my appliances, I called Power again and requested Jason. Once again Jason installed my new dishwasher with no problem.Over the past years whenever I have had a plumbing issue I do not hesitate to call Power Plumbing. Each service technician has not only been professional, but courteous and respectful of my home. And that is very important to me.Although I have never met Rae personally, I feel that she is committed to making sure her customers are satisfied and goes that extra mile to insure that is the final result.I most definitely recommend this company!

Ray is a great manager and Bobby is a professional plumber who knows everything about pipes, sewer, jetting, etc. We have a problematic plumbing system in our building and they are working on the issues in the best way. We are recommending this company very much!

John from Power Plumbing did a great job in replacing a bad seal on our toilet. At first I was leery because they charge by the hour, but he fixed the toilet so quickly and also put a better/upgraded seal so this wouldn’t happen again for a long time. Very quickly scheduled service and took care of the issues - well actually the plumber balked at fully investigating an issue in the basement which I thought was reasonable, a repair requested by the buyer of the condo and other findings kinda made it not necessary. I was hoping to get their invoice and findings to the buyer quickly so if they did still want it done wed have plenty of time.Unfortunately it is now 2+ weeks from the service and have yet to receive the invoice. Called and emailed several times to ask for it, explaining why I need the invoice. They charged my credit card and everything over a week ago.... still no invoice. Today they called and still havent sent an invoice but tried to charge my credit card a second time for service.... At best this is a really disorganized business at worst theyre operating a scam here trying to double charge people. If you did get service from them Id check your card statements again

Power Plumbing was recommended to us when our normal plumber couldnt fit us in for a clogged toilet. Great service and a reasonable price. You dont get much better than that.

Used yesterday 2/17/18. Second time I’ve used them and I am very satisfied. First time I had a bad seal on my toilet and the gentleman fixed in the first hour he was there. This time around I had a leak on the second floor and the plumber (Joe) showed up and helped me identify the cause of the leak in the first hour he was there. They didn’t milk the clock or up charge me and we’re honest about the solutions. They were also on time. Will definitely recommend to my friends and will also use in the future.

We called more than a week ago to get an appointment. Appointment day comes, appointment window closes, neither hide nor hair of anyone from this company. I tried calling them in the last 15 minutes of the appt window, and the exceedingly rude answering service simply asks, Is your appointment window done yet? Well no. Then call back after its past and no one shows up. Worthless. Call again after the window passes, Im on hold for 10 minutes, same lady answers and tells us the service person will call. 20 more minutes he calls to tell us he never had a ticket with us. Now I have to wait until Monday for THEM to call ME back, most likely to wait another week for an appt. Nothing during the week of course because they have bankers hours and it costs time and a half for anything after 5pm, you know, when most people are home and available. The available 24 hours is a lie, anything outside of bankers hours will cost you an arm and a leg. Worthless. Save yourself time and frustration, find another company.

Bob from Power Plumbing. He came out to give my condo association a comparative quote for some work on a pipe under my unit. He identified the pipe might not be in use. We need to do a little further investigation, but it looks like if we dont need to get the work done, it will save the building $7k!

Power plumbing took advantage of my pregnant wife on a house call to diagnose a shower that didnt get hot. They were unclear about how the total cost of the service would be calculated, did not explain options along with their costs clearly, and ended up taking 4.5 hours + an expensive part that was more than 40% cheaper next door at Home Depot. Total bill was over $800 and the shower still doesnt get hot consistently. We have found the same type of job in our area should cost between $200-400 with parts and labor.Their owner has yelled at us and blamed us repeatedly when we have challenged the bill and brought up the shower not working. they have shown no interest in trying to solve an issue for the customer. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Power provides the best and most experienced plumbing service in Chicago. I wish all service providers could be half as good as Power.

I had a water leak to the unit below me after 22 years of living in my condo. PATRICK, young, inexperienced plumber DID NOT try what 3 other licensed plumbers told me he should have tried to fix it (wax ring) but insteadREMOVED the cast iron flange unnecessarily which the 3 other licenced plumbers and the City of Chicago Plumbing dept (over the phone) said was placed in the right spot since I live in an older building and extensions or other means can get it the 1/4 above the tile from where it was. He has caused a very costly, complicated project for me because of his incompetence and the company not willing to keep me as a satisifed customer.

They saved us and fixed a drain under our house that was clogged by a root. They were out within 2 hours and everything was fixed in another 2 hours. They also explained everything to me so now we know what to do so the problem doesnt happen again!

$480 to come right away to fix a toliet is ridiculous and a scam.
