I normally do not write reviews but I feel my experience with the business today required one. I live in Portage park and was excited to see this Barber shop open so close to my home. I read the reviews and was excited to read all the positive feedback so I decided check out their services. I booked an appointment online for my Son for Saturday 6/19 at 11:45. We showed up on time for the appointment with Kevin Poveda. Mr. Poveda was servicing a client when we arrived and he said he would be with us shortly however the services with his client continued well over thirty minutes without any acknowledgement to me or my son that he was running behind and needed more time. I get the sense he was not interested in providing services to us. We left the shop without a haircut and disappointed by the lack of interest in a new client. Two minutes after leaving the shop I received a text that my Sons appointment was cancelled...not sure what to think about that. Good luck with your business.

Nestor is classiest most professional barber Ive ever met. His patience with the kids is second to none. Definitely an enjoyable shop to get a cut at, very clean and visually appealing.Located near the Southwest corner of 6 corners (Irving and Cicero) A.O.M is definitely the place to stop in, whether youre looking for a new barbershop or simply new to the area.My kids and myself have been coming to Nestor for the past 5 years and look forward to the continued relationship weve established with him.
