Ive been going to this Barbershop for several months and, I absolutely love how the Owner/Barber named André pay so much attention to detail while giving me the most fabulous haircut. Hes also very kind and I always enjoy our conversations about lifestyles, healthy foods, and especially current events.

I received a great haircut from Andre today and am looking forward to my next appointment! He listened intently, requested that I find a picture of the hairstyle I wanted to achieve, and he expertly executed what I described. Thank you, Andre, for also being punctual and professional. I meant to post this yesterday. I just wanted to say I absolutely love my hair. Idk how Andre (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) knew, maybe he caught a feeling, I didnt tell him that Im natural. He gave me a natural curl because the curls I initially wanted I wouldve had to texterize my hair. I will definitely keep coming to him.

Last saturday was my first time going to a barbershop to get my hair cut. Andre was my barber, and he was very professional and courteous. I showed him a picture of how I wanted my hair cut and he took his time getting my hair to the exact length of the picture. He is very honest, and he is also a great conversationalist. I will utilize his services again.

Excellent service. Friendly atmosphere. General good vibes. The team of stylists here are a group of professionals that display an eminence talent with hair. Me? I’m a guy with an abundance of cowlicks that made it nearly impossible to walk away with a decent looking haircut before I discovered this place. All respect to the other places that I’ve been before Success, because it wasn’t their fault. I have one of those impossible to cut heads of hair. Now that I’ve found this place, I’m not letting it go. I can’t tell you how many times that I’ve gotten compliments on my hair. I remember one time when walking in some sketchy neighborhood in the city to take care of some business to see some shady looking dude yelling and running towards me from across the street. My thought, “here we go, it’s time to put in that work”. I rolled my neck and shoulders ready to throw down, when the guy asks, “excuse me, where did you get that haircut? It looks smooth as hell.” I told him and he thanked me and walked away like I gave him a winning lottery ticket. My sons went to Success Barber shop years ago and whenever they visited I would always watch how Andre cut. I recently cut my neck length hair and when I did unfortunately I went to a woman who had no idea what she was doing. I immediately thought about going to Andre to get it fixed. I was eating at the nearby Chicago Chicken and waffles restaurant during a visit to Chicago and saw their advertisement for a $10 first time haircut. I went in, and sat down with Mack who unbeknownst to me, would become one of my closes friends when I actually relocated to the city. Success isnt simply a barber salon, offering great service but a community pillar where youll normally find it buzzing with people from all walks of life within. DRE The owner has been really good about working with local businesses to inclusively market their businesses to his clientele and has built a pretty great reputation with his work, and with the staff he put together. Everyone here is great, I highly recommend stopping in for a visit.

Ive been getting my hair cut by Andre (the owner) once a week for the past 3-plus years. I wouldnt trust my hair with any other shop in Chicago. The atmosphere at Success is always welcoming and positive, and the services are top notch.
