Everything about my barber, Kadiel, was excellent quality and it was my first time at the shop! We booked a 55 min appointment and were 5 minutes over. His supervisor approached him (while he was still finishing my haircut) about being late, not doing it again, etc. It was rude! Leadership is pulling them to the side, not in front of clients, especially not the way he was talking to him. We’re adults. I hope next time he handles things differently because it makes us as clients view the barbershop with hostility. Hope to see more positivity from the supervisor (I didn’t catch his name) because my barber was very sociable.

Kadiel is your guy if you are looking for a great cut. I had let my hair grow out throughout the pandemic and I was finally ready to chop it all off and return to my tight fade. Kadiel absolutely knocked it out of the park! I have thick curly hair which makes me very particular when it comes to my cuts. His work is phenomenal and his attention to detail is very appreciated.

My son started going to Hector about 2 years ago when he was 9. He has always been patient with him and given him the best haircuts. We live about an hour from Chicago and from the first time he got his haircut, I knew it would be worth the 2 hour round trip twice a month. He always gets compliments EVERY TIME he gets it done. I have been here twice and I just love it! The barbers greet you as soon as you walk in and let you know about wait time. I say this because having gone to other barbershops they dont even look your way. Its actually pretty annoying that you walk in with a child (my son, only reason why I would go in there to begin with) and then nobody even tells you, hey you know what youre gonna sit there for hours without knowing when your turn will be. Another thing I loved about this place, they are respectful. They dont talk about women they date or see walking outside in an inappropriate way.My son loves it there, I love it. 😊😊😊
