Sonia is the most amazing barber. She will not disappoint. She definitely gave me the cleanest fade I’ve had in a while. The long lines waiting for her daily explain her artistry. I will definitely be back. She reminds me of a military barber and she is so precise with everything. 10/10 would reccommend.

I love this place its like a hair cutting and beautician warehouse, I go there for a hair cut & shave $20 for both - other places youd easily be out of $40 with the same results - this is a multicultural multilingual place and theyre very efficient.

The place to go for a reasonably priced haircut. In my experience, the female stylists here do a much better job at fades than the male stylists (their fades usually ends up looking like a weird mohawk!!). Thumbs up for only the female stylists at this place.

Still a great place for simple haircut like mine. Is a bit like a factory though, so dont expect super nice anything. But the stylists are good and thankfully dont try to chitchat with me.Cash only and they have an atm.

I needed to find a new place for a haircut as my girl moved out of state 😪I decided to check this place out as it is in my neighborhood so its more convenient for me. It seemed busy but I got a chair right away and since I just needed a simple cut it was a quick visit. Happy with the results and price - will be back.

Not too bad for a cheap haircut. Some of the barbers do a pretty decent job.Dont have to wait. Unless you go for a favorite barber. Then expect to wait, but not too long.(unless the guy is really popular).Cant beat the price.

Great family hair salon. Professional barbers, hair stylist, and more. Great for kids, teenagers, adults, both men and women. I highly recommend this place. They get very busy at times, so expect to wait a while. Hair cuts and styles are worth the wait, they do a great job here. My advice is to go early and cut your wait time in half. Razor blade shave for men and eyebrow threading also offered. Great location. Affordable service, no matter what service you get done. Hey if you can save money, wouldnt you? You really have to know the barbers that cut here or else youll end up with a crooked lining on your fade. Check out Adam he is always pretty good and never too busy

I’ve been coming here for the last 3 years, and I have a particular haircut that I have to get for one of my jobs. The lady to go to is Vena, she very friendly and kind hearted. When she cuts your hair it won’t take and hour to get it right. The atmosphere feels like a hustle and bustle of a market place. The rest of the staff is quite friendly and charming as well.

Everyone there is pretty nice but I went there and asked the guy for a mid fade and showed him how long I wanted my hair to be for the top( like a centimeter because I have long curly hair) . When I was done explaining I he asked again how long my sides should be and I said a 1. When he was done he didnt fade my hair and ended up cutting off half of the top of my hair so now my hair cant curl good for a while untill it grows back. To cut some slack though it was fast and didnt cost that much and did a good job lining me up.

I waited with my son for 10 min to get a hair cut and 4 of the stylist stated their too tired and dont want to cut. The other stylist were too busy on their phones. Great price. Great cut with no fuss. Just easy and fair priced. Only downside sometimes is how packed it can be. You might not find a place to sit and wait or youll be packed shoulder to shoulder in peak hours. Find a barber, get their number and coordinate or you might show up and be waiting a while for your favorite person. But that is true of anywhere so def a my go-to place

For a cheap haircut its a good place... Just one but of advice you must be very specific of as to how you want it cut or they just assume and cut how they want. Also good to know Spanish! Otherwise it was ok.

Ive been going here for over 10 years. Always the same stylist. Ophelia. I have extremely curly hair and not too many stylists know how to correctly cut it, and shes the only person I trust with my kids and my own hair. We travel from the suburbs just to see her. Than go downstairs to get my eyebrows done by Buffy. Shes also amazing..

Decent wash and cut for 7 bucks and out in 20 minutes. Not a styling salon, but cuts are serviceable when in a hurry and the price is right.

On their sign it says $5, but they charge $10 now.

Good hair cut- ask cashier who is the best stylist there. May have to wait a Lil longer as they are popular. You can make apt with some of the stylists there, dont be late, or you may extremely have to wait your turn. First come, first served. Tip well= to insure proper service educate. Long time customer.

If you absolutely HAVE to get a haircut NOW and cheap...its great. If not, schedule it elsewhere. Unfortunately walking in you never know who youll get and what the result will be. Also cultivated myself as a regular with a couple different stylists and both eventually hacked my hair up. Occasionally I would get a decent cut that i could easily fix at home.

Great Haircuts at a reasonable price. If you find a girl that you like dont give her up. I ended up finding two there. The girl that I normally see was there one week and I needed a haircut badly. The other girl that I used was just as good. I found out now I can get a haircut there 7 days a week without an issue and always walk out of there looking great at a reasonable price.

Wouldnt recommend this place if your hair is very thick and you want a medium-short cut, the lady didnt let me explain my cut and kind of have up halfway through. My hair is very uneven right now. She cut it way shorter than I wanted and even had to shave my neck baby hairs. I didnt notice how bad it was until I got home because she took away my glasses. She definitely doesnt take the time to make sure the job is well done. I was charged 10$ probably because my hair is very thick. First and last time going there, but at least my hair is short and grows out pretty fast.

So I went to check this place out for the first time. I had long hair and wanted to get a normal cut (short hair) and I go in and sit down. I explain what I want and she starts cutting me hair. The lady botched my haircut and then leaves my sideburns. So I ask her to shorten the length because they were really gnarley. So instead of her bringing my sideburns down like the rest of my “fade” she shaves a part of my beard off. I have been growing it out for a long time. And she butchered it. Not only that but she tried to fix it 3 times after I tell her to just shave it off. On top of that when she got to my neck she cut my neck. Worst experience ever in a hair salon. Yeah and she was seat 14. Guys just don’t go it. She will mess you up.

Best place to get a fade and inexpensive

I was in a hurry to get a quick haircut so I went to Bettys and Nicks when they opened one morning. The haircut looked like it was done with hedge clippers. I had to trim the front and sides (because I couldnt reach the top) as soon as I got home. The entire cut took about five minutes. That was over a month ago and Im still trimming it until its long enough to get another haircut at my usual place. 😱😵😠

Bettys & Nicks is a great place to get a haircut amongst other things you need to get done. Since then the price has been raised from $5 to $7 and this price has already taken effect as of May 1st, 2018. So please be aware of this increase of $2 so you dont pay the previous price of $5.

Got a haircut. Showed the lady a picture of exactly what I wanted because it was a picture of ME, she started cutting from top to bottom instead of other way around I stopped her at one point to tell her that she’s cutting my fade WAY too short and she didn’t speak English well so she just says “it’s okay it’ll fade.”I’ve been here 3 times and all have been terrible. There’s certain people here who cut hair great and MANY who do not. Get your haircut from someplace else.

Terrible place to get a haircut. The polish woman in the corner of the room didn’t even allow me to explain my haircut fully, and completely butchered my hair to the point where it’s unrecoverable. Both sides were completely uneven, shaving my sideburns when directly told not to do so, and gave me a complete bowl cut when I asked for an undercut. I asked for it to be blended to be partially appealing, but she refused to do so because it would be “hard.” She was also extremely unwelcoming and aggressively moved my head without communication just shaving everything off. When I demanded a refund, this place declined rudely. I will definitely never come here again and advise others to also do so. Never take you or your children to this unprofessional, sloppy, trash of a place unless you want an utterly garbage cut.

My boyfriend has always gone here for a haircut, I was skeptical as a girl to get a haircut, but it turned out beautifully. The woman listened to me and did exactly what I was asking for. She took her time and surprised me. For $5 you get a great cut in no time. The place was packed and both my boyfriend and I were taken in right away. Overall, its a great place if you want a nice trim and layers or a basic mens haircut this is your place! # 12 & # 13 did great.

I love this location only in particular has they usually have some pretty good cosmetologist I go to Spanish lady she cut my son and I hisr.very well for 5 each I gave nice too cause you cant make much off of 5.00 me personally I dont go here for eyebrows though when I did they were way to thin and took me forever for them too grow back!They do decent job for simple hair color jobs too.This is cash only place and only street parking.
