When our 2011 Cadillac showed a lane departure error message on the dash, a prominent dealership in Calumet City gave us the runaround and declined the job. However, Pete at Beverly Hills Garage quickly diagnosed the issue and the repair was completed promptly, at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

I started going to Beverly Hills Garage because its convenient - I can drop off the car and walk home. But now Im a devotee because I trust these guys and know theyll do a great job. Theyve resolved many issues for me, but what prompted me to write a review is that out of nowhere, my car alarm wouldnt turn off. I called the garage just a few minutes before closing, and Pete had me bring it in asap. He disabled the alarm no charge. Im glad these guys are in the neighborhood.

Dont bring any vehicles here. I brought my 06 Porsche Cayenne here because I wanted to sell my the truck and the back hatch wouldnt lock, left the vehicle and was told they would call me when they found out what was wrong with it. They finally called and said I needed a part that cost $170, but the total cost to repair the lock on the back hatch would be $680 because of labor and a $280 charge for a special test they ran to find out what the problem was. I was upset because no one called to say I was being charged for this special testing, but I agreed to have the locked fixed. The next day I called to pick up the vehicle they said they got the hatch to lock but it wont open and it will be another $470 if I wanted it to open, at this moment I was very upset. I brought my vehicle in because it wouldnt lock, now it locks but its stuck and cant open. Not to mention they charged me an extra $280 for ”special” testing that apparently didnt work because you tell me after the test something else was wrong. Me and my husband go to the shop to talk to them in person because at this point Im beyond upset. We talk directly to the guy whos working on my truck and he tries to explain what he did and didnt do. I tell him Im not paying any extra money for them to mess more things up because Im selling the truck I only wanted the hatch locked and he tells us” if thats all you wanted and was about to sell you should have told me and I could have gotten it to lock for $50. You can imagine when he said this I wanted to choke him. So, you couldve fixed it for $50 but you guys charge me $680 for nothing at all and I cant get in the back of my vehicle because it is now stuck. I paid them basically for making my small problem worst, I drive off in my truck get home and my husband tells me I have no lights at all in the back. No brake lights, reverse lights, nothing at all and we realize a 50lb bag of snow melt salt is missing out my truck. I go back to the shop tell them all the problems theyve caused including the missing bag of salt, they tell me the guy unhooked a box that was wet and he can hook it back up to get the lights working and the guy who fixed my car says he only saw one bag of salt and the other bag may have fallen out when he test drove it. Are you freaking serious! You stole my salt, charged me to destroy my truck and let me drive off with no lights at all, and no one said anything. I couldve been in a serious accident driving with no lights at all. I would never ever recommend them to anyone. Please beware of this terrible shop and take your vehicle to a mechanic who knows what hes doing and also a place that doesnt steal and charge you for destroying your vehicle. My husband paid $45 for that bag of salt. If I could give them zero stars I would.

My first visit was first class. I have a 2004 VW Passat Diesel. Not everyone will take on diesels. They did and did a great job. Pete was friendly and thorough. The place was clean and even nicely furnished for guests. Very pleased overall. Highly recommended.

This place is terrible! I came in Monday June 24th to get my tire fixed and the front desk guy told me that he couldn’t fit me in. (Fair enough) He then tells me to come back the next day to get my tire fixed between 4:30-5:00pm. I left work in Oak Brook early to come back and get my tire fixed between the time he told me to come back. I arrive and he tells me that he can’t fit me in again. I will NEVER be back. Thanks for the terrible customer service!

I brought my car there for rough idle n was told i had a short. They charged me $1000 n told me it was fixed. Shortly after i left the car did same thing. When i called they said old cars have multiple problems, if i wanted them to look at it again it would be $120 n hour. These guys r opportunists.

Brought my car in there and November was told to bring it in Monday morning at 8 a.m. was having trouble with the engine it would rough idle intermittently I was told I needed a fuse box in a ground wire it took them 6 days to determine this got my car back on Saturday evening $1000 later and was told I should have no trouble at all with emissions check engine light gone 20 minutes after I left the parking lot check engine light went on started having rough idle shortly after come to find out I needed a fuel injector but I couldnt get in to see them for a week. Took somewhere else. Cautionary tale.

I brought my vehicle there because I was having a drivability issue it kept on going to rough idle mode it did have some check engine light codes was told to bring my car there Monday at 8 a.m. did as I was told and that I would get a call wait a couple days never got a call call them Chris the gentleman up front was very blunt and somewhat rude I was told that they would give me a call I called the next day and they said they found a fuse box that theyre going to replace and that they would give me a call Friday I finally called them and again Chris was told me that they were done they had found a wire they were going to replace it was going to be 7:15 Saturday and around 3 p.m. I called again I was told the car would be done by closing time on Saturday went to get the car Chris told me it was 9:20 now and that I should be able to pass the emissions with flying colors everything was fixed half hour after I left the garage check engine light went on shortly thereafter I started having the drivability issues again as I drive for a living with my vehicle I was hesitant to call as they kept my car for a week and charge me $1,000 I did call eventually and was told by Chris that his hourly rate is $110 and if I wanted to look at it again to bring it back be very very cautious of these folks if youre getting the brake job or will change I would maybe recommend them but if you have issues that youre uncertain what they are take it to someone who actually cares these guys care about one thing the dollar bill I discovered that my AC unit was backing up the condensation water and affecting the blower motors electrical this was right next to the fuse box they were placed they could have not not seen this so be very very very careful of people who say they can do things but then dont in charge you outrageous amounts

Brought car for electric problem, they said could fix. Kept car 1 week and charged almost $1000. Got car out and problem started almost immediately. Called back and told old cars have lots of problems they fixed what they said they fixed. If I wanted to bring back its $120 an hour. Buyer beware.
