Such an awesome experience with these guys, highly recommend. Popped in for what I thought was an issue with my muffler, ended up being my flex pipe. They replaced it in 30 min and totally fixed the problem. Darwin was the rep who worked on my car and he was amazing!!

The guy mechanic here is the sweetest guy in the world. He knows a lot about cars and repairs. He’s not my usual guy in Glenview however. I came here because I urgently needed my brakes fixed. I’m convinced, however, that if I had all my brakes, calipers, and rotors changed at once (instead of two separate times), it would have been more cost effective and less stressful. However, that might not have shown itself within the 1.5 month period (I had to do the back ones, then the front two diff times). I know they worked hard on my car and let me keep it there for a day when that shop is super tiny. So for that I am really appreciative. Really nice people overall. Thanks.

This is the fourth time Ive used Velasquez Complete Auto Care. Twice I was there for routine maintenance and twice because of something major (the oxygen sensor had been stolen from my car and then all four of my brakes needed new pads and rotors). Each time the staff treated me kindly and worked on my car efficiently so that I had the use of my car by the end of the day.

These guys are great! They fix what needed to be fixed and nothing more. They keep us informed if there was more that needed fixing and the price. They go up and beyond customer service. Our Ford Excursion is now quiet and runs better. We highly recommend them.

This is my local mechanic just a few blocks from my house so glad to be supporting local business. Use them general maintenance and repairs on my Toyota which has over 248,000 miles. All repairs are fully explained to me with the estimate. They do great work and have never been disappointed with the results.

From the phone call to setup the appointment, to the greeting by one of the reps, I was made to feel welcome. They were very professional and quite pleasant to say the least. I was even asked if I was too cold while sitting in the waiting room.The service was outstanding and the price, reasonable. I will definitely be back for any quick maintenance needs.

There service is not good I had to fix my AC so I took my car with them because they referred. Me I had the worst service the machines are rude I took my car 4 times for the same problem of my AC and then they wanted me to pay more money to fix it.If the first time they didn’t do the job correctly why should I pay more I don’t recommend people to go there.

This place is awesome. I went in for an exhaust upgrade. They even showed me the before and after of different exhaust types and options and sounds. They took there time helping me out in choosing the right exhaust for my car. I highly recommend this place. These guy really know what there doing.

So I headed out, when I got there apparently he did not have the brand they promised me and they wanted to charge me twice as much for just the tires. Which was the same amount with service and labor fees. A complete waste of time

Real bad place too expensive

On the morning of November 11th, I had an alternator go out on my way into Chicago (I live in Northern Illinois). The thoughts of having to trust a mechanic I didn’t know really scared me, but then I called Oscar and I knew that everything would be ok! Oscar and the team were honest, polite, accommodating and the price for the work was very fair...and I would even say VERY REASONABLE!!! He had me back up and running before they closed for the day! I was here a couple of days ago to get my car truck repaired. They did a good job and told me the things I needed. It made sense so I went ahead and my car is much quieter.

This team is always friendly, honest, and straight forward. I typically have stuck with valasquez for my repairs for the last five years, but after the last two years of going to this location I won’t go to another shop. Working with them has been great. They have no problem explaining to me what’s wrong with my car, and without me even asking have shown me the damaged parts they replaced. Straight forward about the time it will take, if there are things that end up taking longer or they are backed up they will let you know. If you call ahead they will let you know if they can’t fit you in that day and a let you know a better time to bring it in. Super friendly awesome people, as I said, I won’t go anywhere else.

My car was due at 2:30. When I got here, at 3:20 it was still up on the rack. 10 more minutes I was told when I arrived. It took until 4 to finish the work and get checked out.Overcharged 30.00 from the original quote.Work seems well done. I did get an oil change at no charge. But that does not make up for the delay.There is no 2 1/2 stars. Thats what Id really give them.

I took my took my car here because the clutch they fixed a week before went out. So after paying for a $200 tow to their shop. They say its going to cost $1k to fix after I paid them $1500 the last time. This place is expensive and they dont communicate well(after waiting a day for them to call me as they promised, I called them serval times and no answer, then I went to the shop find out what was going). Then they towed my car to a different shop and wanted me to pay for the tow, when I was never told about them moving my car.

While out and about i had gotten a nail in my front tire it was late and this is the only tire shop i knew that was open after 11 pm. Great quick service . affordable , only draw back they only take cash for tires and tire repair.

This shop is amazing......Ive been trying to get a muffler for my truck.....for 6 months........a new muffler for my ford truck was no cost effective.....Ive checked every salvage yard between here (Chicago) and texas thru Colorado to Janesville WI ..... finally I started calling local muffler shops.....all I heard was sorry cant help you.......I called Velasquez muffler at 3611 w Pulaski ........I couldnt believe.......the receptionist was like oh yeah we can help......I got your muffler in stock......come on in........its been about an hour or so......hey hey hey Im on my way........new muffler .....new catalytic converter....pipe repair.... ALL GOOD........the two guys in back putting it together are 5 🌟......you better get over to this complete auto care shop......they are top notch..............

At first I thought I was getting a good deal on getting my front rotors replaced but that deal came back to cost me a lot more money. They used an impact driver to put my front wheels back on which as any mechanic should know, is wrong. That is not the worst part, they switched two of the lug nuts on my wheel to the wrong tread pitch and used the impact driver to jam them on so if the jeep gets a flat, it will have to be towed. I strongly reccomend not going to this shop!

Not only do they do Mufflers they were the tune-ups diagnosis and a lot of other things I needed a drive shaft repaired and they removed it in less than 20 minutes and had it done I was out the door and half an hour
